Kids Planet Barrow

If you're thinking of signing your child up to Kids Planet Barrow, then I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

My daughter has just graduated from preschool, and she absolutely loved it there and asks to go back all the time. The staff are so incredibly friendly and amazing with the children. The nursery itself is very clean, and they have so many different things for the children to play with. My youngest is starting in September, and I wouldn't send them anywhere else.

My little girl has just graduated from Kids Planet Barrow in Pre-school and I couldn't be happier with her care and support. The lady in Pre-school was absolutely amazing with my daughter and understood her completely. The whole team are super inviting and welcoming. The food is really good and all cooked fresh on the day and on-site. We have been to a previous setting before but found that our daughter settled so much easier and quicker at Kids Planet. The children in Pre-school, going to school this year were really encouraged with school readiness and my daughter can now write her name, recognise letters and can dress and undress herself, which is something schools look for. They make the learning fun and have things like 'PE days' where the children take a set of PE-like clothes to be able to dress themselves like they would at school. Our daughter really did love nursery and was very sad to leave all her ladies and friends. Thank you Kids Planet, for making this time so special.

The food is varied and interesting with lots of different flavours and we get a useful report via the app on what has been eaten, nap time and nappy changes. There are also photos and updates covering the day which we love getting and we like the fact it's collective so we can see our child interacting with others. Our child's key worker is lovely as are the rest of the staff in the room and he is clearly very happy with them.

One thing I would like improvement on is communication in the day with parents, maybe a better platform needs to be used for this, as well as better quality photos of the children.

I have no major concerns. My reason for giving 4 stars on some areas is due to communication and feeling that the app could be better utilised. It is felt by myself and my partner that the baby room shows greater strength in this area and we are aware that the ratios differ the older the children get and so understanding is given.

We would recommend it to any parents for their children's daycare nursery needs.

Little Explorers are an excellent nursery. They have made sure they have supported my child as much as they can and always give updates and feedback.

We would prefer her to be in the baby room all the time instead of having to mix with older toddlers but we do understand this can be difficult with staff and ratios of children to carers. On the whole, we are satisfied and our baby seems happy at Little Explorers Nursery & Pre-School.

From the word 'go', we've had an excellent experience - from our daughter's transition days to our initial conversation with staff.

We know our daughter loves her days at nursery, enjoying a superb range of activities, interactions and food.

We feel very confident in the care she receives and the collective communication from all staff is excellent.

Our son has settled in really quickly and he loves going to nursery. All staff are friendly and approachable. The facilities at the nursery are great. Our son loves playing outside in the sand and play area. We are really happy with Little Explorers Nursery.

Fantastic nursery, my little boy loves it! Very clean and spacious, with lots of toys and activities! Friendly staff and the nursery is so adapting to my shift work. Highly recommended.

My daughter was struggling to settle at nursery but with the support, time, energy and care the staff have shown in making her feel safe and secure, she is starting to enjoy nursery. The staff have been so supportive and reassuring with me in helping me feel more comfortable in leaving my daughter too. The activities the staff do with my daughter are really helping her to develop. Keep up the good work.

My child has attended since February 2018. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming each morning. I feel my child has plenty of opportunities to access outdoor provision and take part in new experiences. I am happy to leave my child all day knowing he will be cared for to a high standard. Very impressed with all aspects of care and learning highly recommended.

Really like the nursery. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The nursery has lots of different areas for children to play. The facilities are great.

I would not hesitate to recommend Little Explorers.

My daughter has been attending Little Explorers for 2 weeks now and has settled in really well. All the staff have made her settling in process really smooth and easy. The nursery is lovely, bright and clean and the facilities and equipment are amazing. I am a very happy parent.
