Kids Planet Barrow

My little boy moved here from another nursery in the area, it was defiantly the right decision! he loves going into nursery and has come on drastically since starting. All the staff are really friendly and happy to see him even if they are from other rooms. There are always lots of different activities on offer which my little boy gets fully involved in! Recently they have had different stay and plays which myself and other family members have enjoyed attending, it is brilliant to see him play and interact with others!

Staff are friendly and really made us feel at ease leaving them to look after our girls.

I was apprehensive when sending my 9-month-old baby to nursery but she has thrived at Kids Planet, she is always greeted by the staff with a cuddle and a smile. I love the daily updates on the parent app, so I can see what she has eaten and how she has slept! She does lots of activities with the team and she now doesn't cry when I drop her off! I know she is in good hands

Absolutely recommend this nursery.

My son started at 10 months old and leaving at 4 years 3 months! Over the time he has spent at nursery going from the baby room to the preschool we have had so many happy memories! The staff I can't praise enough, one staff member in particular in the baby room was just amazing, knowing how worried I was leaving him- she completely reassured me! Then all the other staff members have always been so lovely! Not to forget management, the manager has been brilliant. The updates we receive are great and informative, love the pictures and seeing what they are doing! Thank you for looking after my little boy.

A fantastic setting, my son cheers as we approach the building and cannot wait to get in for the day. He has a great relationship with all the staff who are all lovely and helpful. The facilities are always well-maintained and clean. We are so glad we picked Kids Planet!

I couldn't ask for a better nursery to send my Daughter to. All the staff are so caring and kind and very informative when dropping/picking my daughter up and with the updates on the app it's great to know she's in safe hands. I love the outside area as much as the facilities indoors, I couldn't recommend the nursery more to anyone!

The nursery staff are all extremely friendly and caring towards the children. They are understanding of my little boy's needs and interests and his likes and dislikes. My little boy loves nursery and has settled in well since he moved to Kids Planet in February this year. He is developing well and has made new friendships. He talks highly of his nursery practitioners often telling me they are his best friends along with the children he names. The nursery manager is also helpful when it comes to requesting additional hours where needed or when discussing invoices. I am extremely pleased with the nursery as a whole.

The staff are quick to contact us if there are any incidents during the day and ensure all appropriate forms are completed.

She has a great bond with her key workers which is so lovely to see!

Really happy with Kids Planet Barrow. My daughter absolutely loves it there and has formed fantastic relationships with staff. The staff are so friendly and have cared for my daughter amazingly. The rooms are brilliant, and the outdoor area is fabulous with so much space. Currently, most pickups and drop-offs seem to be outside - I love that they have the children outside so much. My daughter has been there since she was 11 months old, and she is currently 2.5 and seems to thrive during her time there. Thanks to all!

Kids Planet at Barrow, Lancs, is a fantastic nursery. The staff are wonderful and make the whole experience personal and tailored to our child's needs. They are attentive, creative, caring, polite, and professional and we cannot fault any of them. The nursery itself is a brilliant setting having been specifically built to be a nursery. The equipment within the rooms is of good quality and there is always plenty for the children to do either as a group or on their own. The food provided is nutritious and we like the variety and different things that the children get to try. Overall, this is a great nursery and we are so glad we chose it for our child.

The readiness for school and graduation activities are great!

Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

One thing I love about Kids Planet is the library in reception with age-appropriate books to borrow. We recently borrowed a book about the dummy fairy, which helped prepare my daughter for giving up her dummy, and it worked a treat!

My son has recently started nursery here in the baby's room, and the care he has received so far has been great! From day one, we felt very welcomed by the staff, who are genuinely interested in our baby's development and progress. The sensory activities they do each day vary widely and are definitely contributing to his physical and mental development, he's come on leaps and bounds since starting nursery. I have been really impressed by the variety of foods he is getting too. Overall, he seems to be loving spending time with other children here and has already bonded well with his main nursery carers.

Lovely nursery setting. Very thorough and great communication. Both my children have been here and have loved going. My son still will talk about things he did here. Staff are all friendly and will go above and beyond for the children.

No major issues over four years.

I would however like to see improvement of the app. It isn't updated throughout but only after you've collected your child. Also, often things get missed like what they have eaten for lunch/tea and nap times, etc.

Since my daughter started here at six months, she has only thrived in the environment. The staff are amazing and have always worked with my daughter's needs in order for her to progress. Now she is three and just about to move into pre-school, I can't imagine her going anywhere else.
