Little Chimps Day Nursery Hednesford

Julie is the Owner of three settings. Julie is hands-on and works within all of the settings. Julie Started in the childcare sector in 1997 and holds many qualifications:-
Level 3 in childcare, Foundation Degree in Early Childhood Studies, Bachelor of Arts with second class honours, Teaching Assistant Diploma, Level 5 NVQ Diploma in Management and Management and Leadership, Drug and Alcohol Awareness Diploma, Fire Marshall Training, Counselling Children and Adolescents, Special Educational needs Diploma, Child Behaviour Diploma, Child Psychology Level 4 Level 3 in Education and Training, Health and Safety in Education, Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration, NVQ Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership E-Safety Training, Designated safeguarding lead, Paediatric First Aid, Designated Mental Health Training.

Jade has been a part of the Little Chimps Day Nursery team since 2003, she started at our Wimblebury branch in 2003 and gained her level three and BA honours degree in childcare and education. Upon opening the Hednesford branch in 2015, Jade transferred and took on the role of setting manager. She has built upon her training and knowledge of the early year's sector over the years, Jade also holds her level three business administration, pediatric first aid, SENDCO level three, fire marshal training, CYPW level 5, and she is also Makaton level two training. Jade is also currently undertaking her level seven senior people professional qualification.
Jade is also the named lead for safeguarding, Behaviour management, SENDCO, and mental health and well-being lead.
Jade works within the maple preschool room in the setting.

Aspen room (2+-3) Shannon has been a part of the little chimps team for five years and is the named deputy of the setting. she is level five trained, Makaton trained, paediatric first aid and food hygiene trained and also named sendco, dsl and health and safety.

Willow room leader (baby and toddler) Sarah has been at the setting for three years, she is level three qualified, paediatric first aid trained and food hygiene as well as knowledge on safeguarding and working with babies. Sarah is a deputy named leader for health and safety. She enjoys being creative and getting messy with the children.

Willow room (baby and toddler) Alicia has been apart of the chimps family for four years, she is level three qualified, paediatric first aid and food hygiene trained. She has experience working with many age groups and works alongside Sarah and Renee in the willow room.

Maple Room (3+ years) Charlie is one of our apprentices she is currently undertaking her level three qualification. She is paediatric first aid trained and food hygiene trained and works along side Jade in maple room.

Willow room (baby and toddler room)Renèe is an apprentice she is currently completing her level two qualification. She is paediatric first aid training, food hygiene and works alongside Sarah and Alicia.

aspen room(2+-3) Amber has recently joined the chimps team, she is level three trained and has over ten years experience in the early years sector. She works alongside Shannon in the aspen room.

Hawthorn room leader (2- lower 3) Charlotte has been apart of the chimps team for seven years. She is level five trained and holds a foundation degree, she has a lot of knowledge and experience with all ages groups. Charlotte is also a named lead for health and safety. She is also Makaton trained, paediatric first aid and food hygiene, as well as many other training qualifications. Charlotte works with in the room with Amber.

Tayah is one of our apprentices she is currently undertaking her level three qualification. She is also food hygiene trained. She works along side Shannon in Aspen room.
