Tiddlywinks Nursery Group have expanded to the area of Bury with their 6th site, offering outstanding daycare service nearby the town centre of Bury and the Town Hall. The metrolink and bus stations are only a short walk away and they have expanded outside of the Greater Manchester region where the company was originally established in 1994.

Tiddlywinks have developed their purpose-built new site close to the Centre of Bury on Manchester Old Road. There is a qualified nursery cook ensuring nutritious and delicious meals are available each day for your child. The cooks meet to review the food menus, introducing seasonal vegetables and new recipes. Details of parental and children’s preferences and dietary requirements are kept up to date and all staff team members are aware of the requirements.

The nursery is amazing, and the staff are too and show the core values that we look to teach our children daily. The children love it and are always excited to be coming to learn and play. It has played a key role in the development of our children as they progress. All the staff are friendly, approachable
and always greet with a smile. The nursery is very bright and has lots of space for the children to play. If it was a restaurant, it would be classed as Michelin-star.

The nursery is a 10/10 nursery. My kids have the best time. We moved her from one in another area, and it was the best decision we could have made. This is the best nursery in the area, and the staff really care about the kids. It's not money, money, money.

My son absolutely loves going to Tiddlywinks Nursery Bury, the staff are excellent.
Love the fact we use the app for updates during the day. Also always get a report of an evening when we pick him up.
Potty training was made a lot easier for us after teething problems at home, but with the help of
the nursery, all is good now. Really great job done by all staff.

Absolutely fantastic nursery. The staff are amazing and my little boy absolutely loves going to nursery. They have amazing facilities for all ages and the children are very well looked after. They also have a very healthy menu and the children are encouraged to try all different foods.

This is an outstanding nursery, the staff are amazing, they go above and beyond. The nursery facilities are amazing, the outdoor space is lovely, so much room for the children to play outside and get fresh air. My little boy loves the food and always comments on how nice it is.

The staff at Tiddlywinks are fantastic and my daughter loves going. She has a great bond with her keyworker and some of the other staff in the baby room but all of the staff are friendly and it has a real family feel. My little girl has come on so much in every area since starting at Tiddlywinks, they
are very creative, put lots of effort in and the app for getting updates throughout the day is amazing, can't recommend them enough!

My daughter has been at Tiddlywinks since she was 9 months old and she really enjoys her days at nursery, she loves to tell us all about the activities she has done that day when we pick her up. The staff are brilliant and very helpful, they send updates throughout the day via the app, which includes
updates on meals and sleep too. We are also are kept up to date with her progress with observations and assessments on the app. I would definitely recommend Tiddlywinks, it really is an excellent nursery.

My daughter is extremely happy at Tiddlywinks. She has made so many friends and progressed so much with her learning.
Every day she comes home and tells me about all the different things she has done.
The staff are very pleasant and will always go the extra mile if they can.
I would definitely recommend

My daughter had been at Tiddlywinks for nearly 3 years since the age of 1. I cannot recommend the nursery and staff highly enough. My daughter adores her keyworker, who takes such an interest in every single child in her care, and goes out of her way to ensure they are happy, learning and gives parents
daily updates on how they are doing way above what you would expect. I have never had a bad experience or a reason to complain or give any sort of feedback that hasn't been positive, and this goes for every area of the nursery.

My son will be leaving (graduating) this July after 2-years here.


Since day one, I felt they listened to me and catered for my son's needs - I felt he was more than ready to move up a room rather than starting in the younger room for his age, and they agreed.


His development has just kept on

and on, and I feel so confident sending him to school knowing HE is confident and capable.


He was crying most days, to begin with, but it soon stopped (he had a bad time at a previous nursery) now he gets up in the mornings with a smile on nursery days and gives me a cheery wave goodbye.


Every member of staff has helped my son settle in and feel part of the nursery. I have seen every staff member across the 2-years, and I’ve not seen one that looks unhappy to be there.


He has made friends and has really grown into a happy, clever, social and confident "big boy".

The key carers in the room are so caring and show great dedication to my niece and nephews needs. They are in separate rooms, and yet all staff are aware of the children’s needs and stage of development. When dropping them off at nursery, they run-in with a huge smile on their faces, they are always
welcomed with warmth from all staff, and all staff are approachable at all times. When collecting them from the nursery, the feedback is always in detail, and the children look like they have had a great day and this also shows when they get in the car and they talk about all the things they have been learning.

Excellent care provided and individual attention paid to all children. I have recommended this nursery to friends who now attend.
The staff are friendly and helpful. I think it’s a family orientated nursery as all the staff know every child’s name.

Fabulous nursery. My daughter has been coming here since she was only 12 weeks old. The staff are so caring and nurturing, we have found this nursery to be exceptional and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it. The Parent Zone App is amazing and allows you to see what your child is doing throughout
the day; also what they are eating, drinking, nappy changes and sleep. We really missed it during Lockdown but are delighted to be back.

I instantly fell in love with Tiddlywinks after viewing it in January 2020 for my 2-year-old daughter.
After viewing other nurseries, non compared, and we are so pleased our daughter loves it just as much.
She is always happy and enjoys her days there telling us on pick up 'I had lots of fun at nursery
today', which warms my heart!
It is always so clean, and the facilities they have for the children are second to none.

I think Tiddlywinks Day Nursery is excellent, my daughter who is nearly 3 years old, they have kept me up to date with my daughter's progress of how well she's doing and keeping me up to date with everything on Parent zone. I would definitely recommend Tiddlywinks Day Nursery to other parents.

Tiddlywinks (Bury) is a great nursery. It’s neat, clean and well maintained. Rooms are spacious, ventilation good and has a good indoor and outdoor play area. Staff are welcoming and warm. I really like their app - “Parent Zone” in which one can look at their child’s photo, video and gather information
about their stages of development. Along with this, one can regularly know what they have eaten, what they have been playing and updates on nappy changes and sleep timings. It’s quite comforting. I’m a happy Mum and would recommend it to everyone.

Excellent nursery the staff are lovely, my son is so comfortable around them. I’m never worried about leaving him as I know he is so well looked after. He was poorly last week and they kindly went out of their way to send a get well soon card out and to say they missed him which myself and my partner
found so touching. It also put a massive smile on his face. On his return to nursery, he was so pleased to see them all. He has come on so much since he has joined Tiddlywinks.

My son was very unsettled at first but he has come a long way since starting. The staff are very helpful and smiley. The manager is very involved, she knows how he has been during the day and helps where she can. My son has already come a long way and it has only been a month. The staff try and keep
you up to date with photos during the day, which is always lovely to see. Would definitely recommend!
