Orchard House Nursery

Our daugther adores the staff, which is almost identical to when she started there, ensuring a home-away-from-home atmosphere. The carers, both as individuals as a group, have impressed us a lot with their energy and keen interest in the children, but also because they seem to genuinely enjoy themselves at work. There is a sense of humour and flexibility that makes us all feel like we're part of a big family.

My toddler would like to add “I love it!” when I asked him his opinion, that’s straight from the horse's mouth!

The manager and the team at Orchard House are wonderful and have provided a loving, caring, stimulating and family-like environment for my eldest child for over three years and my youngest for the last six months. We could not be happier with our choice of nursery - from the baby unit leader and another staff member in the baby room happily following our wishes around sleeping and weaning (and giving out lots of cuddles) to the deputy manager and another member of staff working out creative ways to stimulate toddlers in the nursery room (with day trips, cookery lessons and encouraging a love of reading) and to prepare them for school. In fact, all of the staff are just brilliant - without exception - and we are very grateful to them for everything they do for our children (and the enthusiasm with which they do it), both of whom are extremely happy at Orchard House.

I have sent both my children to Orchard House and I can't recommend it enough. A lot of the staff have been at Orchard House for years, and are fantastic with babies and older children. My daughter (who left for school last year) formed close bonds with the staff and other children and was always happy and excited to be going to nursery. My son is in the baby room and settled in very quickly due to the loving environment. He is always extremely happy and contented when I pick him up.
