Orchard House is a highly respectable, family-owned nursery. Orchard House's greatest asset is its long-term team of staff who all ensure that the nursery teachers form deep bonds with the families and children attending the setting.

Orchard House's facilities have a home-from-home feel and will be going through a complete refurbishment throughout 2017.

The management believes strongly in whole brain development for young children and focus on providing a warm and welcoming environment for children to develop physical and mental learning as well as confidence and self-esteem.

The standard Ofsted curriculum is enhanced with weekly forest school sessions, cooking classes and outdoor trips.

My 2yr old and my baby both attend this wonderful little nursery. We moved from a much bigger setting and have been delighted with this decision.
The toddler is always kept busy and excited and there is never a shortage of cuddles whenever he needs one. He loves all the staff and whenever I collect
him, anyone can fill me in on his day even if they are not his assigned key worker because they are just like a family and all very familiar with the children, and this goes for the baby unit too.
My baby started at just 4months and has been 100% loved and nurtured there ever since. They even teach me how to settle him gently!
I would think any little ones lucky enough to attend this safe, caring and exciting little nursery will be so so happy!
My toddler would like to add “I love it!” when I asked him his opinion, that’s straight from the horse's mouth!

The manager and the team at Orchard House are wonderful and have provided a loving, caring, stimulating and family-like environment for my eldest child for over three years and my youngest for the last six months. We could not be happier with our choice of nursery - from the baby unit leader and another
staff member in the baby room happily following our wishes around sleeping and weaning (and giving out lots of cuddles) to the deputy manager and another member of staff working out creative ways to stimulate toddlers in the nursery room (with day trips, cookery lessons and encouraging a love of reading) and to prepare them for school. In fact, all of the staff are just brilliant - without exception - and we are very grateful to them for everything they do for our children (and the enthusiasm with which they do it), both of whom are extremely happy at Orchard House.

I have sent both my children to Orchard House and I can't recommend it enough. A lot of the staff have been at Orchard House for years, and are fantastic with babies and older children. My daughter (who left for school last year) formed close bonds with the staff and other children and was always happy
and excited to be going to nursery. My son is in the baby room and settled in very quickly due to the loving environment. He is always extremely happy and contented when I pick him up.

My son has attended this nursery for 2 years now. I would highly recommend it. The staff are very friendly, polite and professional. My son is always talking about how fun they are as well.
When he first started there he was very very shy, all the staff have helped build his confidence through interactive
play and learning.
I have never in the two years had any issues or concerns with the nursery but I'm sure if I did they would be dealt with straight away.
I have always felt that my son is safe and happy here, so much so my daughter (baby) will also be attending soon.
Great nursery!!!
