Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Altrincham

Our daughter has been at Monkey Puzzle Altrincham now for just over two years, and from arriving at babies, through to preschool, we cannot fault the nursery. They are communicative and caring, and our daughter loves to go to nursery every morning. She has formed beautiful bonds with the staff and made friendships with the other children. Her confidence has blossomed. Staff work hard to care for each child in their rooms, and know them and their interests well. They make sure to provide lots of fun activities for the kids and the nursery continues to improve itself with updates to their facilities regularly. Staff are quick to address any parental concerns and we have always felt listened to and respected as parents. Our only negative is the outside space is a bit small, but they make it work with what they have and the kids still love it! A wonderful nursery with a wonderful team.

My son was at Monkey Puzzle for two years and has thoroughly enjoyed his time there. Unfortunately we have to leave as we're moving overseas but the staff have been amazing and my son has really grown in confidence during his time in preschool.

My daughter started at the nursery when she was just a baby of 6 months and went full time. From the very first day she was loved and cared for immensely in the baby room and we were relieved that my daughter didn't have any problems settling in. She went on to the teenies and toddler room and again all the staff were amazing and she loved and looked forward going to the nursery everyday. She was blooming into a happy and bubbly child and I am ever so thankful for all the wonderful caring staff there. I would definitely recommend Monkey puzzle!!

Monkey Puzzle is an absolutely amazing nursery where our little girl has thrived. As a family, we have been so happy with the care that has been provided by all of the staff who clearly work so hard every day. The activities offered are beyond excellent and her days are always so varied which allows her to learn so much. The staff go above and beyond and clearly really care for all of the children. Would recommend to anybody looking for a nurturing nursery with the needs of the child at the forefront of all that they do.

I have sent both my girls to Monkey Puzzle Altrincham and it's been such a lively experience. They have both skipped in each day and made special bonds with all the staff and my eldest was set up so well for starting school which was then such an easy transition for her. The staff are like a family and my girls definitely feel that. I would recommend Monkey Puzzle to anyone who needs reliable and loving care for their children.

Unfortunately, I would no longer recommend this nursery.

The cons: Staff attrition is very high. Leadership - defensive when receiving a complaint/concern. Toileting, regularly returned from nursery with soiled clothes and underwear, often with nappy rash (when in nappies). Food - limited variety. An example: my daughter ate cereals for breakfast for the entire time she was there. Trips into community very rare. Disappointing given the central location. Behavioural management: Time outs were used and negative language. Sadly the standard of care did not meet expectations.

The management is so good and we are so happy with this nursery.

Our child loves attending Monkey Puzzle in Altrincham, she has always been very happy and settled there and looks forward to going. She has made a lot of her first friends at Monkey Puzzle and loves all the staff.

Staff are friendly and genuinely care about the children - my son calls his key worker his best friend. I am informed about daily activities with detailed updates and pictures. The environment is always safe and clean. I have never had any issues in the 3 years my son has been at Monkey Puzzle. The food is fantastic and is regularly reviewed and updated to make sure it's as varied and nutritious as possible. I have such peace of mind when I drop off in the mornings.

It’s my first child so I don’t have any experience to compare with but what I have experienced has far exceeded my expectations and I would recommend Monkey Puzzle to anybody who asked me.

The environment at Monkey Puzzle is perfect for nurturing those early year developments.

We love seeing the updates with photographs and information about what the babies have been up to each day. They regularly go out on trips around the local area. We love Monkey Puzzle and are so glad we chose this nursery!

Knowing our daughter is content, makes us, as parents, completely delighted with the care she receives at Monkey Puzzle Altrincham.

My son has been attending Monkey Puzzle since he was 9 months old and is now in the preschool room. He has been very happy there in all the different rooms. The staff are wonderful and the daily feedback we get on the app is brilliant. I always feel completely happy that he is well cared for and looked after. They do an excellent variety of activities with the children and the meal variation and variety is excellent too. I would 100% recommend this nursery.

Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery has been the most perfect environment for our son to grow up in. They have supported his development in every way and he’s learning so much. He is excited to go to “school” every day and has a lovely network of friends to play with. He’s been through three rooms now and every time he has been allocated a key worker who he has developed a great relationship with. All the staff are so kind and friendly. They really prioritise the children and their care and safety and I really feel like he is nurtured there. We love it.
