My little boy absolutely loves going to nursery. When he first started, he took a long and painful 8 weeks to settle. However, the staff did everything to assure me that he would soon love attending and boy, were they right! I now struggle to get him to leave, even after a 10-hour day, and he has such a lovely rapport with every single member of staff. They're extremely accommodating and easy to talk to and I am so happy with the progress my son has made.
I am very grateful to the nursery for its contribution to the development of my son. My son has been looking forward to the day when he will go back to nursery and spend time with his friends and with his beloved teachers. He was always greeted with a smile and tenderness. I am very glad that my child got to such kind and sincere people. They taught him to be friends and respect each other, to create and fantasize, to appreciate beauty, and to be honest, kind, and caring. My son is proud of his achievements, he repeated what he did at the nursery with interest at home. He came to know the world around him, the joy of friendship, and his personal abilities. All these qualities helped him quickly and easily adapt at school. We trust you because it is very important for a parent, when they leave their child for almost the whole day, to know that their child is in good hands. We are confident about the safety of our child because next to him are professionals. We are very grateful to you. Thank you! We are very lucky to have you!
I can't praise Rising Stars enough. I have seen my child's development just grow and grow and has gained so much confidence ready to start reception and this is all down to the amazing team of staff at Rising Stars. My child started at the age of 18 months old, all the way to 4 years old. They made the settling-in period smooth and easy both for me and my child. The food at the nursery is amazing, very varied and always sounds yummy. My child has eaten more different types of lunches/ dinners here than at home. The day-to-day activities and learning is above and beyond what I expected, my child has learnt so much because of this. Rising Stars really makes you feel a part of the family and I can't thank them enough for everything. My child was excited and happy to go in every day and always left with a massive smile, which explains it all! Would highly recommend Rising Stars to anyone.
I am very happy with the efforts the dedicated staff have put into the development of my child. He has settled into the nursery and really enjoys his time there. Would definitely recommend Rising Stars to all!
Excellent.
I would be honest in giving feedback here to all the other parents looking for a nursery. My son loves going to the nursery every day and enjoys his time with kids. The best things about the nursery are the opening and close timing that suits our work times. The staff are very helpful and proactive in communicating my son's progress using the daily report and the time adjustments based on personal situations during the Covid-19 pandemic times is much appreciated. My son has learnt a lot of things being at nursery such as at the weekly football sessions, enjoying festivals with friends and doing things independently. There are only a few things at top of my head for improvements, my son needs a bit of attention to avoid mistakes like a toilet and missing meals sometimes. It can be avoided by instructing him to visit restrooms after meals and checking meals. I strongly recommend this nursery. Thank you to all the staff and management team for their support in taking care of my son.
This is a fantastic Nursery. My daughter has been attending since she was 3 and her speech and confidence has grown, considering we speak 3 languages at home. She has made a lot of friends and has a good relationship with the teachers. They learn something new every day and I love that they play outside in the fresh air every day (unless of high winds) which I think is extremely important. My son also attends Rising Stars. He was just one and a half when he started. He settled in so quickly and he enjoys every day learning lots of new things. The place is very clean, the food is great and fresh every day. Allergen-free! I couldn't thank them enough for everything they do every day for my kids!
My daughter has been at Rising Stars since she was 1 year old (now she is nearly 4 years old). For her, this is like a second family and everyday she is very excited and happy to attend the nursery. She developed very well, learning new social skills, new vocabulary and lots of other important things for her age. I cannot praise enough the team at Rising Stars for all their work with my daughter - they have created a safe and pleasant environment for the kids - plenty of activities to keep them engaged. The food is great - healthy, well cooked and homemade. My son will be going soon to the same nursery. Highly recommend.
There are loads of nurseries around my house and this nursery is about 20mins drive from my house. The reason why I chose to go further than the nearest one because this nursery I have personally visited and spent about a week with my kid for the settling hours. It is so nice and clean, very hygienic. Staffs are very welcoming, cooperative, feel like your kid is very much safe to leave with. Whenever my kid is coming out of nursery she is having a smile on her face always. And she is always very much excited about going to nursery and I have super faith in them and trust them. I highly recommend this nursery.
Our 2 children started at Rising Stars in February. Unfortunately, they were only able to attend for a few weeks before we had to self isolate. However, in that time it was made very clear how amazing Rising Stars is. The staff are all very caring, kind, energetic and engaging. Our children were very happy with their carers. My son found settling difficult but we were never concerned that he wasn't being comforted and supported in becoming more settled. Over the lockdown, we were kept in regular communication with the management and staff from the nursery. They sent us videos and activity ideas which was especially helpful for the children. When the children recently returned to nursery the staff were again wonderful in ensuring the children's return was as easy as possible. My children run into nursery in the morning and never want to leave when they get picked up! They have both made progress and ultimately are happy and safe. The manager is amazing and her staff are fantastic.
I love the layout of the rooms, it is much less closed in than other nurseries I have been to and bright and fresh. The garden is also a lovely space.
I am also very impressed with how they have managed things during the current circumstances with COVID.
Thank you Rising Stars
My son has been going to Rising Stars Romford for the last 2-years and the only times he has left without a smile on his face were due to him not wanting to leave! There is a caring feel to the place, and I feel confident his needs for his age are being met, in both his social and intellectual development.
My child loves attending Rising Stars Romford! The staff are all very friendly and trustworthy. There is good, regular communication and I receive feedback after every session. My child’s development has progressed in leaps and bounds since first attending the nursery. She takes part in a variety of different stimulating activities every day. I am very happy with the level of care the nursery provides.
My little one seems very happy here and has developed well since starting. He always arrives and leaves with a smile on his face which is important to me. There seems to be a wide range of well thought out activities that the children are engaged in, and so it is not a case of just keeping them quiet! I feel satisfied that my little one is getting enough stimulation here, and the staff seem lovely.
I am extremely happy with the way they take care of our daughter. My daughter is so excited to go to nursery and it’s just because of the carers who are so so friendly and caring. The whole team is friendly and really good with it. They do provide you with a proper report of our daughter's daily activities which is easy for us to keep a track on it. I will definitely recommend to anyone.
We are extremely pleased with the level of care our children are experiencing at Rising Stars Nursery. They are absolutely happy and enjoying their time at the nursery. They have many learning opportunities through play. The environment is safe and staff are friendly and caring.
The nursery is excellent, I highly recommend and love the garden space. The staff is very competent and friendly and the children are well looked after. The manager is very friendly and accessible. The nursery makes good use of their outdoor areas.
Our daughter has just recently returned after the COVID-19 break. The nursery has done a lot of preparations for welcoming the children back. I am very happy with the care and attention our daughter gets in the nursery, she managed to settle in very quickly. She enjoys the activities and likes going to the nursery.
The nursery is big and also the garden has two sections, one is covered which allows kids to play even during cold and wet conditions. Although the ratings were not great at the end of the day my son is very happy to go to his nursery. I have seen many nurseries where the place was small with so many kids that moving around fully wasn't the case. This nursery is a huge place with fewer kids and great staff. They have helped my son in learning many things and building his self-confidence. Highly Recommend.
Every morning upon arriving, my child runs into the settling, saying good morning to all staff and children. My child is treated so well by staff members like he is their own. I feel safe and settled leaving my child in the hands of these amazing women and trust them deeply looking after my child. The information I receive on collecting him and the positive feedback I receive on a daily basis is great. This is the 3rd nursery I have taken my son to and I am extremely happy and satisfied with my choice for bringing him here, as well as his development growing greater every day. He is coming home telling me what he has learnt and excited to go back the next day.

My name is Steph and I am the Nursery manager. I have 14 years’ experience in childcare and hold a level 3 qualification in the children and young people’s workforce. I’m currently completing a level 5 apprenticeship in operational management. I’m very passionate about my career and strive to make a difference to children’s lives by ensuring they have the best possible start in life.
I really enjoy cooking and love to experiment with new foods, especially learning family recipes from my Cypriot and Sri Lankan heritage.
I am recently engaged, so most of my spare time is spent planning my dream wedding! I have a big interest in interior design and have been personally renovating my own home over the last few months, which has helped me to gain lots of new skills. I have a long bucket list of things I’d love to achieve in my life, so far I’ve been fortunate enough to have been sky diving, worked abroad for a Summer, swam with dolphins, climbed the O2, snorkelled in the middle of the ocean, been parasailing and travelled to lots of beautiful countries across the world and UK!
My name is Arzina, and I am the nursery chef. I have a level 3 in food hygiene as well as training on food tolerance and allergies. I have always had a passion and talent for cooking. Ever since I was 13 in secondary school, I chose to do Food Tech, and I decided to pursue a career in this field. I am a native Mauritian. Since I come from such a diverse nation, I can speak English, Mauritian Creole, French, Urdu and Hindi. I come from a multicultural background, which produces a diverse cuisine.
As I adore cooking, I look for new recipes to try out from time to time from cookbooks, TV shows and videos online, and due to this, I love to travel around the world and try different cuisines with my family.
My favourite countries to visit were Malaysia due to the diversity of flavours in their cuisine.
I have just recently grown an appreciation for gardening and like to plant my own flowers, fruits and vegetables in my very own garden.
Hi, I’m Lorraine, and I’m the Deputy Manager at Rising Stars. I’m a mum to a 17-year-old daughter, and I have worked in childcare for around 14 years. I began my career as an unqualified assistant, gained my qualifications/experience and progressed to Deputy Manager. I love working with children because no two days are ever the same- I love to watch them grow and learn; being a part of their early years journey and sending them off to school with those first fundamental skills is so rewarding. I enjoy music & West End Theatre.
In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family, explore new countries and make memories along the way.
My name is Sumeet Brar. I have over fifteen years of experience in the early years and a bachelor's degree in fashion design. I hold a level 3 in early years education and a level 5 in management in early years. I started my career as a nursery practitioner and worked my way up to become a nursery manager. I managed a nursery setting for ten years and then opened two more settings under the name of Rising Stars PreSchool.
I am now the Director of Rising Stars, which is also my family business. I am proud of setting up Rising Stars, as this was my vision and my passion. I always believe in creating a healthy working atmosphere for my dedicated team. My team is welcomed like a family where we all work in partnership with parents to give the best to their child.
I have first-hand experience of working in a demanding nursery environment and know how responsible it is to take care of and educate preschool children and try to achieve their goals. I understand the importance of learning through play in a secure, safe, age-appropriate, stimulating, and fun environment.
I am happy to see children grow, develop, learn and thrive in the setting. I am committed to providing quality, innovative childcare to those families who choose Rising Stars.
I live in Essex. I enjoy walking and taking holidays that involve exploring the countryside on foot. I love going to the theatre, visiting art exhibitions, and spending time with my friends and family.
I have been a director for over 20 years and have worked in the childcare industry since 2006. I am passionate about childcare and co-own a childcare business with my wife, who was the previous manager. I have also enjoyed working in childcare, especially as my wife and I ran the business together, and our own twins attended the nursery. They have now moved on to high school. In addition to childcare, I own a property business in Waltham Forest. Outside of work, I love going to the gym, trekking, following the Wim Hof Method, and watching and supporting my football team.
My name is Shanice, and I have recently joined the Pear Room at Rising Stars. Having 6 lovely children of my own, I am excited to be embarking on a new career in childcare and gaining a qualification.
My free time is spent on days out and enjoying activities with my family. I’m a massive dog lover and have 3 American XL bullies at home.
Summer is my favourite time of the year; I love to attend BBQs where there is lots of food, sunshine, and laughter with my friends and family!
I hope this year to travel more and add to my family destinations bucket list, with Turkey being at the top.
I enjoy reading old English literature. Charlotte Brontë and Hardy are my favourites. This is owed to my schooling at a Grammar school in Kent. I’m also a bit of a foodie; my ultimate favourite pastime is trying new cuisines with friends and family.
