My son has been attending nursery since the age of 14 months. He’s now approaching 3.5. He started off at one day a week in the baby room, increasing to 2 days a week in the toddler room and now 3 days a week in the school room. All of his key workers have been amazing, including all the other staff
that work within the rooms. The app keeps me informed of his daily moments that matter, his sleep and meals eaten and I love the birth to 5 matters reports that allow me to understand his development and how he’s progressing.
His character and confidence are growing and his personality is shining through (a little too much some days!) Thank you for taking incredible care of all the children that attend. Thank you for being part of his childhood chapter and helping him to develop into the amazing little boy that he is.

Both my girls attended this nursery full-time for four years and we’ve been so happy with the standard of care and the progression and joy we’ve seen in our children. It was a hard decision to go back to work full-time, but the professional, friendly, caring team made the transition so much easier.
To me, it’s like dropping the children off with family. The nursery manager is brilliant and always makes time to communicate with parents. There are long-standing members of the team too, who are equally great and have provided consistency throughout the four years. Daily updates, food diaries, photos and a newsletter are shared through an app and the menu is always varied, with hot meals, fruit and yoghurts. They often come home with items they’ve crafted and I was seriously impressed when my daughter came home reeling off a list of all the planets! I highly recommend Kids Planet Lepton Nursery with its fantastic creative team and safe, caring, fun and friendly environment.

We love this nursery because our child always comes home very happy, they keep you informed throughout the day with what he’s been up to. A good variety of food is made for their dinners and tea each week. I love the fact you get an update each month on how they are progressing.

The nursery has always been accommodating. Staff are friendly and approachable and keep me updated on my child's progress.
I love the use of the app to update me on my child's day, especially a daily photo of her undertaking various activities.

My children have been with Kids Planet Lepton since 2017, one has graduated and one is now in pre-school, both experienced babies, toddlers and pre-school.
We have also experienced other childcare providers and continue with Lepton, who are great.
The management on-site and behind-the-scenes, smooth
billing and communication make all the difference to busy parents. We met the manager in 2016/2017 she (plus the clean facilities and happy children) just sold it to us!
In preschool the new facilities look lovely, the staff are proud and the kids have free access to everything. They have been supportive of weaning and potty training (regardless of the room the child was in), facilitated naps long beyond their friends and my fussy son seems to eat vastly more in volume and variety at Lepton.

Our daughter loves going to Lepton Daycare Nursery, shes very happy, safe and is always learning and making friends. The staff are always superb and cannot fault anything. The facilities are very good overall and it is very well managed. Very happy.

We have been sending our children to nursery at Lepton Daycare (Now Kids Planet Lepton) since 2018 - one child graduated, and two children currently attending. Our experience from the very first day our first child went, to today, has been absolutely brilliant. All the staff in all rooms are fabulous
- especially the managers. They cannot do enough for the children (and ourselves) and our children absolutely love going. We have found staff are particularly good at working with parents on things like potty training, taking dummies away, dealing with allergies, scheduled nap times etc. The range of activities staff provide day-to-day is excellent - our personal favourites have been babies having sensory play with snow on snow days and trips on the bus to the local pet shop to see the fish. We couldn't recommend this nursery anymore - it and the staff are amazing!

My little boy has really thrived in this setting. The staff have been friendly and approachable. He has thoroughly enjoyed all the opportunities to play, learn and develop within this supportive and caring setting. Our daughter has been attending Lepton Day Care for five months in the baby room. We only have good things to say about this nursery. Our daughter is always happy to be dropped off and has always had good a day. Her key worker is very informative on collection, there are lots of activities and sensory
toys within the baby room, the children are also read too regularly.
A variety of food is offered, with a weekly menu available to look at. My daughter was very picky with food while weaning, however, with the nurseries help, she has tried a lot more flavours.
We have recommended two families to this nursery who now send their children also. It really is a lovely clean environment.

I’m extremely happy with the care my daughter receives from Lepton Day Care. I feel she has grown so much in character and personality, but most importantly with ability and knowledge expected at her age.
I feel all staff members treat her so personally, encouraging growth and stimulation. They’re
always so detailed with daily activity and updates where necessary.
I love that my daughter looks forward to her days at the nursery and often speaks of staff members and children she interacts with.
To conclude, I’m entirely reassured with the care, fun and learning that my daughter receives and am very grateful for those special staff members who make it as so.

My daughter has been going here for almost three years.
The staff are friendly, helpful and most importantly, they have always looked after my daughter really well.
From the beginning, they helped her transition into the setting, listening to how she napped and fed at home and working with me to
help her settle in.
Each time she’s moved rooms, they have done it gradually, communicating with us and making sure she is comfortable and confident there.
When I was expecting another baby, the staff helped prepare her by reading books about getting a new sibling and talking about the baby with her.
Now she is in preschool, I can see they are working hard to prepare her for school and she is learning a lot.

My daughter has enjoyed going to Lepton Day Care from day 1 and that is due to the amazing staff that work there. We are always kept well informed on how she is progressing day to day; the staff do a lot of fun activities with the kids from painting to sensory tables allowing them to explore and learn.
Always
feel safe in the knowledge that my daughter is being well looked after when I leave her, she loves it there and that is the most important thing.

Lauren Dawber is nursery manager at Lepton. She has worked in early years since 2005 and began at Little Acorns in 2012, working her way up from baby room practitioner to her current role as nursery manager and designated safeguarding lead.
