Ladybird Nursery - Penge

If you get a chance to visit, do it and talk to the staff. They are really wonderful.

Our daughter has been attending Ladybird nursery since June 2023. She's formed great bonds with her peers cultivated by the caring and kind key workers who support the children. It's a really homely environment and provides lots of engaging and interesting activities. Communication with parents and caregivers is great and I get the sense they really care about the children in their care. Our daughter has really thrived since attending.

Our son attended Ladybird Nursery - Penge from just over 3 years old until he left for school aged almost 5 and he absolutely loved it there. He settled in very quickly after moving from his childminder and developed strong relationships with both his peers and the team. The nursery is relatively small, which helps create a cosy, family-like feel and the lovely staff contribute to this. I never needed to worry about his well-being while he was in their care. They also put a lot of emphasis on the children's emotional and mental development which really helped our son transition into Reception when it was sadly time to say goodbye to Ladybird. I wholeheartedly recommend the nursery and will hopefully be using it again in the future!

We cannot speak highly enough of Ladybird! Our daughter has been attending for over a year and found the first few months incredibly difficult to settle. Not only did all the staff show an endless amount of patience and love but at no point did they make me feel like it was hard work, nor did they treat my daughter any differently from the other children. She has absolutely thrived at Ladybird. The staff have created such a nurturing, family-like environment that she found the transition into the toddler room an absolute breeze and asks to go to nursery every day! We cannot praise all the staff highly enough and have recommended Ladybird to other parents we know in the area.

Our son attended Ladybird Nursery - Penge between the ages of one and three, he only left because we have moved out of the area. I cannot recommend it highly enough. He loved his time there and his physical, mental and emotional development whilst there was amazing. He would always come home singing new songs, telling us about new letters and numbers he had learnt. Most importantly, the staff there are incredibly caring and he genuinely loved them. So every morning he was happy to go there and be dropped off and I never had a moment’s worry about leaving him. I’m just sad he couldn’t complete his preschool years there!

They are very kind, caring and diligent and looked after him so well. We will miss you, Ladybird Nursery!

We have had a wonderful experience with Ladybirds Penge. Our child had been to two other nurseries prior to beginning there. He didn't really settle at the other two nurseries. He quickly settled at Ladybirds Penge, which was a big relief and testament to the team there. The size of the nursery was a real bonus for us as it has an intimate family feel. He really developed and flourished there. He made great friends and loved attending. We really can't fault the support and service provided by the amazing team. Thank you Ladybirds Penge. We will miss you.

The staff are always in good humour, always happy to chat and offer advice on the craziness of my child.

We have been extremely happy with the excellent level of care and attention given to our daughter at nursery. Staff are always friendly, approachable and very caring towards children. As a result, our daughter is thriving. We feel that all her development needs are being met by her teachers. We have no worries or concerns when we leave her at nursery every day and are relieved to have found such a wonderful nursery!

This is a great nursery! The staff are friendly and professional. The kids are well cared for and have lots of fun.

The nursery is well managed and runs like clockwork. And the children really like the food too. I would highly recommend this nursery as a place where your child will be loved, stimulated and cared for. They will thrive.

My daughter has been there for 1.5 years and runs in every time we go, I have to remind her to say goodbye to me when we arrive as she is off to say hello to her friends and teachers. She has learnt so much and tells me all about her exciting, filled day on our walk home.

Unlike at home she eats all the fresh cooked food and snacks and is never hungry when she leaves as she eats so well there. She enjoys helping serve, prepare and tidy up the food and now carries these skills to home life.

All the children are always happy and when on the odd occasion I see someone upset they are being cuddled and calmed by their teacher and peers as they teach them about helping others.

So happy we found Ladybirds Penge.

Our son has attended this Nursery since it opened a year ago. We are happy with the care provided by staff who are friendly and caring. You are kept informed about the day through an app and staff are always willing to discuss the day/concerns etc at the end of each day.

Our son has settled in well and often doesn’t want to leave in the evening because he’s had plenty of fun

Our daughter has been in the baby room at Ladybird Nursery - Penge for the past 6 months and is only leaving as we are relocating out of London. The staff at the nursery have been extremely welcoming and really care about each of the children in their care. It is obvious from parent meetings and ongoing conversations with staff that they really know and understand my daughter well and I have always felt 100% confident leaving her in their care. Every day there is a range of activities that are set up both in the room and outside and my daughter has a very good relationship with her key worker too and has made lots of progress since she has been at the nursery. If you are looking for a small, friendly and caring nursery then I recommend this nursery without hesitation.
