Bluenest Montessori philosophy is based on a profound respect for each child as a unique human being. The Bluenest Montessori approach assumes that children are born intelligent, curious, creative and are ripe to develop a sense of wonder and imagination.

The goal is not to control, but to inspire children to learn voluntarily. In its essence, Montessori is designed to teach children to think deeply, to think for themselves and to think about others. The nursery believes that while learning the right answers will get a child past exams and eventually through school, learning how to think for oneself (in effect, learning how to learn) will get a child through both school and life.

With special thanks to the nursery's dearest, talented and enthusiastic qualified Montessori teachers, children enjoy what they do. For them, teaching is both a profession and a vocation. The children under their care love them. With words and examples, they motivate the children to develop their potential, awaken their interests, arouse their curiosity and make learning a wonderful experience. Their energy, enthusiasm, patience and cheerfulness are contagious.

Staff cultivate an atmosphere of joy, wonder and appreciation for life, and you are invited to join Montessori school as it offers the opportunity for a vibrant and fresh vision of education for your child.

It was a wonderful place for my son to start his journey of education. We find the standard of care is extremely high and the great staff team with excellent management too. We like the facilities and wide range of activities on offer. Our Son has thrived and feels very secure and safe within the environment
and the people.

Staff are incredibly friendly and foster a family environment. The Montessori is really well equipped too. There are plenty of fun events organised for the kids. The main thing for me as well was that my son seemed very happy so more than happy to recommend.

One year ago we were looking for a nursery where my little princess can go to make new friends, grow up, and do something that at home we can't, because of a new baby. So we saw maybe five nurseries in this area, but at least we choose Blue Nest Montessori School. Why? Because it has a lovely garden,
a lovely room for sleep, lots of space for toddlers and Montessori activities, lovely teachers, good food and is very clean! Now, our daughter loves her teachers, her friends and food. For all staff at the moment, I can give five.

My daughter has been going to this nursery since 2015. Every member of staff she's worked alongside or has looked after her has been brilliant. She looks forward to going to nursery and her confidence is beyond belief as she is usually quite shy. She's developed so much over the years and I would definitely
recommend this nursery. If I have more children, I would definitely let them go to this nursery.

My four-year-old son joined this nursery in October 2018. He loves the nursery and it is his second home. Teachers and staff provide a warm and comfortable atmosphere for the children to settle in. We very much appreciate the care and concern they show to each child.

My daughter has recently joined Buzybees and has settled in so well already. This can only be put down to the care and attention of the lovely staff there. She loves the outdoor space, especially Forest School and the sensory room. The staff have taken the time to really get to know my daughter, her
likes and dislikes and have made sure to relay as much information as they can about her first few weeks there. I am so pleased that I made the decision to send her here!

The staff is extremely hard working, cooperative and enthusiastic. My daughter has Angelman syndrome. She got the best possible support to learn new skills as per her EHCP plan. They put a lot of effort to bring out the maximum potential of my child. The environment is very homely and I knew my daughter
is in safe care. They have the latest facilities for children to become independent and enhance life skills. I highly recommend this nursery.

Wonderful nursery with such caring staff. My son has progressed hugely since attending and loves going to nursery. It has a lovely family feel where all the staff care for the children. The staff always address any concerns if there are any. I feel very comfortable with his care there.

Our daughter really enjoys coming to the nursery. The teachers/carers are very good and always give us regular feedback - verbal and written. We feel very happy leaving our daughter there, knowing that she will be looked after very well.

Buzybees is a lovely nursery with a great family feel. The staff are always very professional and are always happy to help with any issues/concerns you may have. They take feedback very positively. My child has settled in very nicely at Buzybees and I am sure that my child is very happy there. When
I drop him off in the morning, he is ready to go without any tears. This certainly makes my day as a mum a lot smoother. I would certainly recommend this nursery to everyone.

Current Review Score: 8.6 (8.557)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.6 (8.557) out of 10 for Blue Nest Montessori School, Harrow is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 4 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.6 out of 5 from 4 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 5.000 for Blue Nest Montessori School, Harrow is calculated as follows: ( (48 Excellents x 5) ) ÷ 48 Ratings = 5
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 3.557 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Blue Nest Montessori School, Harrow is based on 4 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 = 3.375
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 110 number of registered child places is 22. 4 Positive Reviews ÷ 22 = 0.182
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
