About this price
How funding is applied, how the monthly figure is calculated.More info
Working parents of children aged 9 months to 2 years can usually claim up to 30 funded hours a week. The working-parent hours depend on each parent meeting the minimum earnings rules and earning under £100,000 a year. This nursery stretches funded hours across 51 weeks of the year. You've selected 30 funded hours.
This nursery applies up to 10 funded hours per day, stretched across 51 weeks of the year. With your selected funding, 22.4 hours are covered each week. Hours beyond this, including the early and late parts of the day, are charged at the standard rate.
We work out the total cost across the year and divide by 12, so the figure shown is a smoothed monthly average. In practice, nurseries bill in different ways. Some bill monthly at this average. Others bill weekly, or charge for what happened that week or month, which can vary across the year. Confirm billing details with the nursery when you enquire.

Since joining the nursery my son has developed in so many ways. He is more confident and balanced and looks forward to going into nursery every day. The nursery itself is a fun and bright environment and I think it provides the backdrop for more effective learning. Overall I have nothing bad to say, seeing my son smile each day says it all. I would look into the cleanliness a bit closer as this is the area which I feel the nursery could improve on. Please make sure the children's hands and faces are wiped on a regular basis.
Warm regards.

Our daughter loves her time at the nursery.
Although she is normally reserved and quite quiet, she is very confident and happy when she is at nursery which makes me very pleased to have chosen Tenderlinks as our childcare provider. Staff are very helpful and full of energy.

My daughter started in January 2019 after we moved to the area. Everyone has been incredibly kind and welcoming and her transition from her old nursery to Tenderlinks has been seamless. She's always happy to go and is in a great mood at pickup. The nursery staff really respond to what the children like - they get the opportunity to showcase their own personalities and this seems to be actively encouraged by staff. I have been really impressed and heartened at how confident my daughter is at nursery and how much she has been exposed to - from writing and space projects to hairdressing and mud kitchens. To the children, it seems informal but I can really see how much she's learning!

The garden is huge with lots of different activities. The older children can free-flow between indoors and outdoors.
From the moment we signed up the management has been so efficient and organised and just lovely to deal with.
Tenderlinks use an app to log meals (what and how much), naps and nappy changes in real time. They also send a message each day with an update on what our son has been up to that day, or what kind of mood he is in. It’s lovely to log on at any time and see his “timeline” for the day (rather than having to wait until the end of the day).
Parking is also great making drop off and pick up a breeze!

The standout thing for me is how much the staff enjoy their jobs. They are clearly so passionate about caring for the little ones and I feel totally comfortable leaving my child with them. He's always doing fun things and enjoying new experiences.

My daughter was just 9 months when I returned to work, her separation anxiety was at its peak, so it was quite a stressful time. One week in and she was starting to settle at Tenderlinks Day Nursery and now (she just turned one) she claps her hands and cheers when we arrive in the morning. The nursery's family app keeps me updated throughout the day. I can see when my daughter is sleeping, what she's eaten and I even get to see photos of her learning and developing.
The team/staff are second to none. They are approachable, knowledgeable and yet remain professional. The nursery has an amazing family vibe. They have catered for my daughter's dietary needs with no qualms! Who would have thought returning to work would be have been so nonchalant.

The staff are very good at making children feel welcome. My son took about 3 weeks to fully settle but is now always happy to go in. He is always greeted with a big smile and gets told about all the exciting activities planned for the day. The family app is an excellent tool and is used well for communicating with parents. You get a report at the end of each session on what your child has done that day and it is hassle-free to pay the fees with a mix of childcare vouchers and bank transfers. Highly recommend it!

I feel as though the staff at the nursery have created an environment that is wonderful for playing and learning, also lovely outside space which staff and children use as often as possible. Great for children to get out in the fresh air. Excellent nursery school.

I have had an overall great experience with this nursery. They have made my first mum worries be put at ease as well as knowing that my child is in the best care that I myself would like to give to him. My child's welfare and learning skills are always met and if they have any concerns, they are very honest and open about it, which makes me feel that I can approach any member of staff with a query. Every child is an individual and that is clear to see from my point of view, with how they respond to the needs of my child.
Such a friendly, caring family of staff that make you feel welcome as soon as walk through the door.

I genuinely feel very lucky that Tenderlinks has opened in time for my 10-month-old daughter to start. The experienced staff have a real interest in caring for little ones. They seem to enjoy playing with them and helping them develop. The way they interact with the children is exactly how I would like my daughter to be treated. The nursery is relatively small and this seems ideal for young children. Phone calls and emails are responded to promptly and I get up to the minute information about when she naps, what she has eaten and nappy changes via an app. They don’t hesitate to call if there are any small concerns and are keen to take on board my preferences for my daughter’s care. To me, the nursery seems to have everything a little baby would need in terms of facilities, especially a generous outdoor area. However, I would say that while the nursery is under new ownership, the building has been a nursery before and so don’t expect a shiny new space, but don’t let that put you off!

Hello, my name is Vicky. I am 40 years old and have been working in childcare for 20 years.
I studied Educare for two years, after completing high school in Cape Town, South Africa. I moved to the UK in 2004, and after transferring my qualifications to an NVQ4 in Childcare, I started working in North West London as a Nursery Nurse. I have had experience in working and leading all age groups within the Early Years, as well as experience within a mainstream Reception classroom.
I have been trained in various methods of educational approaches, such as The Solihull Approach, Grassroots, and the Feuerstein method. I have a passion for swimming and have also attained a Baby and Toddler Teacher swimming qualification from the STA.
I have worked my way up through the ranks and gone on to manage two nurseries within the Camden borough of London.
After getting married in 2017 I moved out of London and was delighted to be appointed Manager of Tenderlinks Godalming. This was a new challenge as it would mean putting my passion for early years education into a start-up setting. I am so proud to say that I have had the pleasure of watching our setting flourish and grow within the Surrey community in just over three years.
We are now well known for our family-centred approach, promoting an outdoor learning experience, and doing our utmost to be a home away from home for the children in our care.
