Danes Hill School Pre-Prep (Bevendean)

The staff are delightful, so caring and encouraging.

The Danes Hill Nursery is a welcoming and warm environment. All three of my children have flourished here. They look at the child as an individual and plan fun and engaging activities. The pastoral Care is excellent and the children love going to school. The range of experiences available to them is outstanding. Swimming twice a week, forest school, computing, specialist teaching for performing arts and languages. The nursery setting at Danes Hill simply goes above and beyond!

My daughter loves going to school and adores her teachers. There are so many different engaging activities, and she learns so much through the play. She doesn’t want to stay for lunch, so lunch at school is a challenge.

No regrets about choosing Bevendean for our children.

Cannot fault Danes Hill Bevendean! Our daughter started in transition in September having never been away from me and the teachers have gone above and beyond to make sure she settles well. Needless to say, she has, and she absolutely loves it! Having attended the school myself twenty or so years ago, it is so lovely to see that the core values of the school remain the same. The opportunities presented to the children are endless and the care and attention from the teachers is outstanding.

Danes Hill School Pre-Prep (Bevendean) is wonderful! My daughter has come on leaps and bounds since she started in September and we couldn't be happier with the school. All the staff we have met are lovely and the facilities are fantastic.

Bevendean transition is amazing! The pastoral care is outstanding and they also have really nurtured my son's mathematical skills. They teach children kindness, to share and they enjoy so many activities.

Bevendean is a wonderful place and I fell in love with it when I initially visited, with the view that I wanted my little girl to start when she was 3 (in transition). The facilities are fantastic and the teachers and staff are so caring and nurturing. My daughter absolutely loves it, and genuinely enjoys learning, and I couldn't happier about that. They instil such positive behaviours. If I had one negative at all, it would be that there is very little communication between teachers and parents on an individual basis. With a child of 3 or 4 years old, I would have thought that there would be much more interaction, given they are so small, and are generally not willing to talk about their day once home. I would love to know more - how is she behaving? Does she eat well at lunchtime? Where are her strengths? What do we need to work on? I have found this to be the part where it is lacking, and it's something I wouldn't have thought I would have to chase.

We could not be happier with Danes Hill nursery. Our child absolutely loved their time there and looked forward to going in every day, and learnt so much, which prepared them well for reception. The nursery team are all excellent and plans so many fun trips and activities for the children; they have so many wonderful experiences.

Outstanding in all respects. I can't recommend the school highly enough. From the teaching and pastoral care to the facilities, the provision is absolutely outstanding, and both our daughters and we, as parents, have been hugely grateful.

Our son joined Bevendean as a toddler and we couldn't be happier. The nursery has a friendly family like atmosphere and our child is thriving thanks to the amazing teachers. In fact, all the staff are doing a great job. I feel that I can completely rely on them and have a peace of mind that our son is in the best hands. Thank you for being so awesome - Team Bevendean!
