Yellow Penguin Nursery

This is my son's first nursery, so I was really anxious before he started as he is really shy but so far he has settled in perfectly. The staff are very friendly, there are a lot of toys and activities, the rooms are kept clean and there is a variety of healthy food.

Only the outdoor space is a bit limited in my opinion as my son loves being outside, but as long as they all go to the parks or town, I am happy.

I was really anxious about going back to work and putting my LO into a nursery. The nursery manager made me feel welcomed as soon as I stepped into the nursery. When I left, I was less nervous about leaving my child at nursery. The nursery was refreshing, bright and age appropriate. All the staff are inclusive, they all welcomed my LO even though we had not started yet. Any concerns I had were reassured and then I was told about the App which allowed me to see what my child was doing each day ie naps, food, nappy changes and updates on their learning. Overall my son has been there nearly a month and I can see he has settled in very well. This nursery is a home from home.

So far everything going fine, our child likes to come, we are very happy.

A lovely, well designed, immaculate purpose build nursery. light, bright and airy. Ever time I drop off/ collect my daughter the temperature of the building is perfect, never any odour smells or dirty. My daughter's nappy is changed regularly, her bottom has never been red or sore. It has taken my daughter some time to settle into the nursery environment, but the nursery staff have always been patient, comforting and loving. All the staff are professional, not harsh in there manner, caring and kind towards my daughter. The meals are all nutritional balanced, freshly made and meet my daughter's dietary needs, I am sure my daughter has been eating well as she has not lost any weight. My daughter's confidence, her interaction/ socialisation with other children/adults have developed wonderfully. This nursery is very good value for money. Truthfully this nursery is outstanding, I have recommended this lovely nursery to a number of friends and colleagues and will continue.

My daughter started at Yellow Penguin Nursery at the end of July after having to leave her previous nursery because they could not meet her needs. Since starting, she has settled really well. The staff at Yellow Penguin have pin pointed why my daughter takes on particular behaviours which have now stopped with their amazing work. I can't fault it. Management and the rest of the staff are amazing, always updating me on the progress of the nursery, as it is a new nursery. They regularly inform me of my daughter's progress since starting the nursery. I am very happy with her progress and cannot thank them enough. The nursery is always clean and tidy with plenty of different activities for the children. If your child is like mine and needs to be entertained 24/7 it is an excellent nursery, highly recommended.

I really like the nursery because it is very clean and the staff are very friendly. My son loves the nursery. He is more active, learning so much and his speech is now fab. As he is a fussy eater, he has started eating food from the menu. He has made friends and loves sharing and caring - this is shown in his behaviour. Keep doing what you are doing.
