Ocean Day Nursery

The food on offer is varied and accommodated to suit allergies, dietary requirements, etc and every child is encouraged to try and 'eat the rainbow' with a few treats included for good balance.

My child has been attending this nursery for 2 years and has come on so well. He really enjoys going to nursery which makes the whole experience so much better, the staff are fab! Would definitely recommend this nursery to others really flexible with days and will do all they can to help work around you. They do great things with the children always having lots of fun great balance between fun and learning.

Nursery staff always very helpful and let you know how your child has got on throughout the day. Any problems they call or message to let you know which is very good to know when I am in work. My child always enjoys the food provided which is a positive as he seems to eat better in the nursery than at home.

Our daughter joined Ocean Day after we had been unhappy with her settling at another. We were immediately put at ease during registration. Our daughter spent over a year here and the staff are outstanding. Particularly one lady, who always carried out the handover with genuine interest and care. Other nurseries will often just tell you if they’ve eaten and that they were ok. She would every day tell me about funny little things that she did, that we had missed out on. Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending.

I could not be more grateful for everything that the staff at Ocean Day Nursery have done for my son. Excellent care and very friendly, caring staff members. My son loved every minute while being there. I would definitely recommend the nursery to everyone!

My daughter has been with Ocean Day Nursery since she was 6-months-old and I can’t recommend the nursery and it’s highly dedicated staff enough. The team are amazing and have been integral to her development over the last few years. The premises are extremely clean, and safety is a high priority. Both my daughter and I love this place and watching her skip in daily, re-enact scenarios with her dolls, and take pride in her achievements from the day gives me reassurance that I made the right choice.

Lovely clean nursery with lots to do. Staff are really friendly and very caring towards the children and always do new and exciting activities with them. I was very nervous putting my son in nursery at first but he loves it!

Our little girl started Ocean Day Nursery when she was 12 months old and just left for reception class. She loved her time at Ocean Day Nursery and will miss the brilliant staff. I highly recommend this nursery!

When my son started the nursery he couldn't speak and I was worried about his development. In the space of two short months my son can not only talk but can sing songs. Cannot recommend the nursery enough in terms of cleanliness and how helpful and supportive all staff are they really cannot do enough. They have excellent structures in place regarding play and learning and I wish I had known of this nursery sooner. The nursery is open plan and is bright and airy. They really encourage your child to flourish.

My grandson loves nursery, he gets very excited when I pick him up and when I say to him we are going to nursery. We feel he has become a really happy boy and he settled in excellently. He laughs on the way in and gets upset on leaving. He has also bonded with the fabulous nursery nurses. He claps his hand when we arrive. The food at the nursery is excellent and he never goes away hungry. Fabulous place.

My son has been at Ocean Day Nursery for around 5 months now and he has progressed so much already! He loves going and is always full of beans when I pick him up, excited to tell me about his day. The staff members are so friendly and nothing is ever too much for them. He thoroughly enjoys his time there! So much so my youngest will be starting there in 2 weeks at 8 months old and I am very happy that he will enjoy his day just as much as my 2 yr old!

We’ve always found the staff to be pleasant and welcoming. Our daughter has developed great interpersonal skills and is confident in general because of daily exposure to other children in a happy environment.

Friendly, caring, lovely staff, always interested in my son's well being. My little boy loves going to Ocean Day Nursery and is always full of joy when I collect him at the end of the day. The staff do so much with the children from messy play, painting, reading, games, story time etc And I love receiving the photos they take and they always keep me informed of his daily progress. Would definitely recommend this nursery.

My son has attended Ocean Day Nursery for the past 12 months and he will now move to start his academic journey which leaves us all very sad. Will still use the nursery for half term. We moved to this nursery from a city centre one as they were much more flexible to accommodate my requirements than other nurseries more local to us. It was totally worth the change we did. My son has never loved going to nursery before as much as he does now. Their help with potty training was fundamental. His English has improved immensely also (it is not our main language at home) and he goes on and on about his days at the nursery and talks a lot about one member of the team, in particular! We will miss her very much. I do recommend this nursery to everyone. And the perk of attending the adventure play centre every other day is definitely a great benefit.

My son has been attending Ocean Day Nursery since March 2018 and I couldn't recommend them enough. He settled in really well with and has built some really nice relationships with the staff. Since he's been there he has come on leaps and bounds from his eating to talking and general learning and development. He has also enjoyed crafts including painting and making mother's day and father's day cards which has been a lovely touch. I would recommend this nursery to friends and family.

Amazing nursery, I totally trust staff to look after my five-month-old son. Plenty of various activities for him to pursue that stimulate the mind and keep him busy. Great for him to learn to socialise, share and gain various skills with peers and staff.

My child has attended this nursery for coming up to a year now and the progress that she has made by attending here is amazing, she now knows how to count to 10 in Welsh and can count to 15 in English. She always comes home with a smile on her face and she is also very happy to come back to nursery every day. We are very grateful for the time and effort they put towards her and would happily recommend this nursery to anyone that asks. The nursery provides me with lots of information so I know how well she has done that day and know how much food she is having, also what she has enjoyed that day. Thank you for looking after my child she loves playing at nursery.
