Ocean Day Nursery provides everything children require throughout the day, including freshly prepared meals, snacks, nappies, and milk. Staff carefully cater for all allergies, intolerances, and dietary requirements. The nursery has achieved the Healthy Snack Award Gold Plus standard, recognising a commitment to healthy, nutritious choices.
Children enjoy daily access to the secure outdoor garden, including opportunities for planting, water play, exploration and imaginative play. Older children also benefit from regular visits to Mambo’s Play Centre as part of their learning experiences.
The nursery has experience supporting children with additional learning needs (ALN), creating an inclusive environment where every child’s individual development, communication and wellbeing are valued.
Funded childcare is available for eligible 3–4 year olds, including the 30 hours funded childcare offer.
All staff are fully qualified, Paediatric First Aid trained and committed to providing safe, responsive and engaging care. Experienced managers are available on site throughout the day to support children and families.
Free parking is available for drop-offs and collections within the Mambo Play Centre car park.

I was really nervous about sending my son to nursery, especially as he started at just eleven months old, earlier than I'd originally planned. But Ocean Day Nursery made the whole journey so easy for me. The staff couldn't be more friendly, accommodating, supportive, and reassuring.
I was also honestly surprised by the outdoor space. The nursery's on an industrial estate, so I wasn't expecting much, but their garden area is genuinely lovely, and they go in the garden daily. They keep me updated throughout the day, and the activities are lovely, with different themes each week. There is also a wide variety of toys. My son is absolutely thriving there. All the children seem so happy and confident, and he's developing really well. He's never once cried going in or coming out, which says everything about how comfortable he feels. I honestly can't recommend Ocean Day Nursery highly enough.

Our daughter has been with ocean day from 9 months old and is now 2. I cannot speak highly enough for the team there. They go above and beyond for us as a family and do whatever they can to accommodate requests. Our daughter has thrived in their setting and asks to go on her days off- if we've ever had concerns or questions we've been made to feel comfortable to ask/ make requests. The bonus of time in mambos has noticeable improved our little girls physicality and it is something commented on regularly by friends and family.

I honestly can't recommend Ocean Day Nursery enough. Choosing a nursery for your child is such a big decision, but I genuinely don't have a single regret about choosing Ocean Day for my son. From day one, every member of staff has been so kind, supportive and welcoming. He absolutely loves nursery and talks about the staff all the time when he gets home - even our family know each of them by name because of how often he mentions them! The support they've given him has been incredible, particularly with encouraging his speech and language development. They really take the time to get to know each child as an individual. Once they realised he had a huge interest in numbers and space, they arranged one-to-one activities to encourage and develop those interests further.
Seeing people genuinely invest time into what your child loves means so much as a parent.

We are extremely happy with this nursery that our son attends and couldn't recommend it more highly. He's been at the nursery since he was 7 months and is due to go up to school nursery in September aged 4, The setting is warm, welcoming, and provides an excellent environment for children to learn, play, and develop. They also have a lovely garden for the children to play in. The staff are fantastic and genuinely care about each child and create a safe atmosphere where they can thrive. Their communication and support have been exceptional, and it is lovely to see how much our son enjoys attending and how confident and happy he has become. We are so grateful for everything they do and feel very lucky to have found such an outstanding nursery.
Our daughter also attended this nursery, and the wonderful experience we had with her was one of the main reasons we chose to enrol our son here as well.

The nursery staff are very kind individuals who have played a massive part in my son's development and reaching the milestones set out for him. I 100% recommend Ocean day Nursery. They are kind and loving people who really care for your child and their needs. We've had the best experience with them and my son will miss them dearly when he goes to reception in September.

It's been amazing to see how much he has learned and how excited he is to go to nursery each day. Ocean nursery have been absolutely fantastic with helping my little boy Teddy settle in. He’s constantly playing and crafting and always comes home with a big beaming smile on his face. Two staff members, particularly, have been spectacular with him and he’s really taken a shine to them. The nursery is always clean and tidy even after a full day of children being there. They have also been extremely flexible with our ever-changing schedule and during my son's first month when he was unwell for quite a few weeks.
To top it all off, I love receiving photos throughout the day of my little one playing etc.

Genuinely, I couldn’t be more grateful for the team at Ocean Day Nursery. For me, the most important consideration for childcare is how comfortable a child feels attending and there is no doubt that both my boys love it there. The team have a fantastic balance of being personable and professional. They have great communication and have created an atmosphere where it’s a fun environment for children to be in. Especially with the uncertainty of the last two years, Ocean Day have been a fantastic constant and place of stability.
