St Thomas More Preschool

My kids have been very happy at the pre-school, they are well cared for and have lots of friends there. They love the outside space. They get lots of fresh air every day and enjoy the forest school activities. They prepare the older children well for school so the transition is much smoother.

My daughter started in April she settled very quickly and absolutely loves nursery.

The staff are wonderful and know the children really well.

The activities are fantastic and they have a huge garden and spend a lot of time outdoors!

We particularly love the fact my daughter has a book bag and can take a book home whenever she likes, it's a really good idea getting them school ready!!

Definitely would recommend this setting.

My daughter absolutely loves her time at this nursery! The school has a lovely garden outside where the children can play and explore, and there are always plenty of fun and creative activities planned throughout the day.

The teachers are wonderful - kind, patient, and truly dedicated. My child always speaks so highly of them and comes home happy, full of stories about what she's learned and done that day.

It's such a comfort as a parent to know she's in a caring and engaging environment. I couldn't be happier with our choice of nursery!

I can't recommend St Thomas highly enough. It's a place where children truly thrive and are cared for.

Since my little girl has been at St Thomas pre school she has achieved so much .at thomas pre school they highlight a positive and caring environment, excellent communication between staff and parents, a wide variety of stimulating activities, I think the Key elements to include are the staff's attentiveness, , and how the nursery has contributed to my little girls growth in areas like confidence and social skills.

Amazing pre school

It is such a lovely place with fabulous staff who really get to know the children and really care about their well-being. The beautiful outside space is also a great bonus. We wish them all the luck in the future with expanding more and being great for the next children who attend the nursery. Would definitely recommend it.

Absolutely brilliant Preschool. My twin boys have loved going, and they have looked after my little ones brilliantly and feel so sad they have to go into reception now and leave the pre-school as they loved it so much. I hugely recommend it.

All three of my daughters have had a wonderful experience at St Thomas More. The staff are wonderful, caring and friendly. They have a large outdoor space to use as well as indoors; the kids love the garden!

The staff at St Thomas More Preschool are so welcoming and made my child relaxed and at home from day one. They take a lot of interest in each child, and I get good feedback on how they are getting on and developing at pre-school. The garden is a brilliant space that they use a lot - my child is always very happy and tired by the end of the day! They tailor activities to their preferences and look for challenges for the children that they will enjoy. Lovely staff to deal with; they are always warm and friendly.

I am very satisfied with all the support here and recommend it to anyone who wants to check it out.

My only comment on improvement area is that if school closes at 4 for children, I think the cleaning of the school should be done after the last child has gone, not during the time the children are still in the hall.

We are extremely happy with the provision at St Thomas More nursery. Our son loves attending and enjoys all the different activities on offer. He especially likes circle time in the morning with stories and singing. He also loves the outdoor play and the garden area where he has helped plant seeds. The nursery embraces days such as World Book Day, Pancake Day etc and our son enjoyed visiting Waitrose with his shopping list to buy ingredients to try with pancakes. At Christmas, the nursery put on a small carol concert and our son loved being a King and learning the words to the songs. There are always new activities for the children to try. The staff are very friendly and are always welcoming especially at drop off when the children may need some reassurance.

Outstanding nursery. My child is so happy attending the nursery and looks forward to going every time. The staff are fantastic with the children and really go above and beyond to make each child happy and reach their full potential. My child is thriving socially and learning new things every week and becoming more and more independent every day. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

They always take good care of kids. Toys, equipment are good and outside area is bigger and better.

My child didn't want to go to nursery in September after being home for 6 weeks but the staff were excellent with him and encourage him back into the fold.

The preschool has been amazing for my children and all of the staff have helped to develop them in their individual ways. There is a great outdoor area which they have access to and use most days! The staff have been extremely flexible with any requirements and always listen when you have a particular need for your child. They have a good routine at the preschool and I like the fact you can see what they have been up to during the day with photos on the web page only parents and carers have access to so you can talk to your children about the day. They really enjoy it at St Thomas More!

Teachers are lovely and caring. I like the way they give feedback on how my child gets on with her day. My daughter is comfortable and familiar with the people and place. She is very happy with her school. I will definitely recommend St Thomas More Preschool to my friends.

I'm very impressed with all the staff, level of care and facilities they provide here. I particularly love the emphasis on outside play/learning which my child really loves. It's lovely that they do cooking and a variety of different activities with the children, to encourage cooking/decorating items is a fun engaging way to learn and explore for them. Very happy here!

My son started at St Thomas More preschool in September 2017. We have seen him grow into a very confident child with the encouragement of the staff. He comes home and tells us all the things he has been doing. He is always happy when I tell him it is preschool today. The children are encouraged to play nicely together and always share. If you are looking for a small preschool that will nurture your child, I would highly recommend it.
