At Kido Clerkenwell, a safe and inspiring environment enables your little ones to thrive!

Kido has an innovative curriculum that is inspired from the best teaching philosophies, like Montessori, Reggio Emilia and the theory of Multiple Intelligences; this is created by an international team of specialists and is in line with the EYFS.

Kido Clerkenwell is located in a repurposed church hall and in walking distance to Old Street, Barbican, Moorgate and Angel tube stations. It features large indoor and outdoor spaces, tall windows and skylights that provide ample natural light during the day. The main garden is very large and separated into different activity areas with a separate garden just for babies.

They offer multiple language instruction, daily nutritious and healthy food and snacks and all the nappies and wipes that your little one will need.

We decided to send our third son to Safari Kid Clerkenwell because it is so close to us and they were flexible with their daily schedules.
HEADLINE: We're overjoyed with this nursery. From the facility to the staff to the relaxed but professional attitude, it has been an amazing experience for us!
Specifically:
*The
ratio of adults to children is fantastic. Even more amazing is the sense one gets that the staff adore children, that they are doing the work they want to do. The energy is so positive: feels like the children are not just welcomed and looked after but loved.
*The facilities are great. Full of light, activities, everything so well looked after. It was a joy to leave him there knowing he would have a great day. Everything is clean!
*Daily reports. They are really watching everything: how well the kids are eating, what they are learning, their bowel movements, their friendships and you also receive things to work on and sound parenting advice.
I cannot recommend Safari Kid more highly.

Our 2 year old son loves his time at nursery (even if it's still a bit hard for him to say goodbye in the morning he's always in good spirit when we pick him up). The carers are attentive and there's room for children to be themselves which is something that was very important for us. There are always
new activities and he tends to return full of glitter, colours, sand or other remnants from his daily activities which we love. The space is not overwhelming as some nurseries tend to be and the toys allow room for the children's imagination. We also had to request many substitute foods during meals and snacks due to allergies and the nursery was very helpful and accommodating, which we know can be very challenging when dealing with a large group and was extremely helpful.

Very pleased with the nursery and the attention the staff pays to the children.

I highly recommend this happy, clean, up-to-date nursery. My two and a half year old looks forward to going, making me much calmer about leaving him while I work. The staff are all friendly and loving. They track your child’s activities and developmental milestones in pictures you can assess on the
nursery app. Our warm welcome is always a balm on a hectic morning. We are so pleased to have found Safari Nursery!

I am very satisfied with this nursery. Our son started going to the Safari Kid Clerkenwell in September 2018 and since the beginning, we knew it was the perfect environment for him. This is the reason why in January our daughter started going to the Safari Kid as well. The staff is very gentle and experienced
and in general, it is a very caring environment. Our experience of the nursery has been great so far. I definitely recommend it to others!

My older little one has been to seven different nurseries because we were relocating numerous times. So I feel I know what I am looking for in terms of a nursery for my younger little one. And when I found Safari Kid, it really ticked all the boxes for me - the serious attitude towards pedagogy, cleanliness,
facilities, quality of programs etc.
But above all that, what I found best about Safari Kid is the quality of the caregivers and teachers. Everyone was passionate about their job and treated it as more than a job. I can trust them completely to give their best to my child. I love it that it is a place where the kids and the staff feel very much at home and they truly work as a team. Sometimes the higher management that do not work on the ground and deal directly with the children and parents can feel rather aloof and unsympathetic, I often find that can be overlooked in light of quality of the direct caregivers.

I did find this nursery the most suitable for my baby. For me, it was important not just to tick the review box but to have an actually bright, well ventilated and full of light facilities. They have really nice facilities that have been run by nice and what is important, really responsible staff. My
baby is learning a lot in the days she attends and suprises us in evenings with dances and songs she have learned.

Our toddler has been attending nursery at Safari Kid Clerkenwell for a few months on a part-time basis. He is loving it there and throws himself into the arms of the staff (the ones he knows) at drop-off time in the morning. Super happy with the setup, especially the well-managed, fast and easy drop-off

My boy started going to Safari Kid from 14 months. I’ve also accompanied him for the settle-in session. I think the nursery has good space, is generally clean, teachers are warm and kind to kids. They run various activities each week. They have a Mandarin teacher which is particularly helpful because
Mandarin is my boy’s first language.
Although babies occasionally lose pairs of socks I still think it’s a very good nursery and definitely recommended to my friends.

Fantastic nursery with wonderful teachers! The best really in Islington (I’ve been to many before we chose Safari). We are very happy with Safari Kid nursery and my son loves it here. After moving countries, the Safari staff has been a great help making my son feel at home in London, from the settling in phase to transitions to other groups, and resolving his picky eating habits. Doesn't matter who I talk to, the
staff members are all friendly, communicate clearly about any upcoming changes, and are listening to feedback. We couldn't be happier.
