Kido Clerkenwell

My toddler loves being at Kido. Every time we drop her off she runs straight to one of the lovely staff or to the breakfast table, and every time we pick her up she is running around in a great mood. You can really tell everyone that works there put everything into taking care of the kids and making sure they are well supported. They have a lot of activities and classes, and it has helped her to develop her social skills and confidence.

Our son has been at Kïdo Clerkenwell for just over 2 years and we have been delighted with our experience there. The nursery staff are engaged, supportive, kind and nurturing - our son has loved his 'nursery days' and the friends he's made there - we couldn't have wished for a happier nursery chapter for him before 'big school' begins in September. From the brief interractions with staff we have at pick-up and drop-off to the detailed reviews we recieve each month on our son's progress, it is totally clear just how observant and comitted the staff are to the children's wellbeing and healthy development. Luckily this won't be the end of our time at Kïdo as our second baby will begin there soon!

Kido is my son's safe place and second home. Choosing Kido was the best choice we could ever make. The staff is amazing and the communication too. Activties, food and the outdoor space are amazing ! They also have Spanish and French lessons which is absolutely amazing. It's been now 2 years since my son had started Kido and he is so happy to go there every single day.

Have had 2 children there for a while since they were in the baby room. Lovely environment, great staff that treat you like family and really get to know you and your kids! My kids have been thriving, the older one is getting a great start from their school prep. The kids are generally happy and friendly. There seems to be less staff turnover than other nurseries so they have had consistent caregivers for years. Really great to be able to trust the wonderful community here as our "coparent" when both of us are working. We feel like the kids are in good hands and are always relaxed knowing they are here. Couldn't recommend enough!

We couldn't be happier with Kido, From the very first day, the staff made our son feel safe, loved, and truly at home. Every morning he walks in with a smile, and that alone means everything to us as parents. The care, patience, and attention they show each child is incredible. We've seen such a positive change in his confidence, social skills, and happiness. Thank you for creating such a nurturing and supportive environment-we are so grateful.

If I may repeat myself Kido has been a wonderful place for our son. The staff are kind, caring, and genuinely invested in the children's well-being. Knowing he is happy, safe, and loved every day gives us complete peace of mind. We are so thankful for everything you do.

The team has created a thoughtful development plan and, with warmth and professionalism, has supported our child every step of the way, going above and beyond to make them feel safe, included and encouraged. Their dedication, kindness and flexibility have made us feel Kido staff as a family. We can clearly see that their wonderful development and happiness are, to a large extent, thanks to the passion of this fantastic team.

We had a terrifying experience at Kido Clerkenwell this August. Our son, who has servere food allergies and anaphalactic risk from dairy products, was accidentally given cow's milk by a member of staff. He had been at the nursery over 2 years and the staff member who gave the milk had been with him since the beginning. I would absolutely NOT reccomend this nursery to anyone who has a child with allergies. This mistake was life-threatening and a severe breach of duty of care.

I will give you guys a 20 out of 10 I was saying to my wife if I could I would upgrade the nursery facilities to the best in the world because the service and care you guys have given to our daughter is the best.. and we are super grateful for everything you have taught our daughter

My daughter started Kido Clerkenwell in January of 2025 after a long time of being at home. As a mother who isn't the strongest academically I didn't know how to really support her learning needs, over the past 6 months my daughter has excelled in her reading, writing, counting and mark making. She always has great reports of her teachers and the friends she has and her confidence has grown greatly. The onboarding process was smooth, informative and easy and I couldn't recommend this nursery enough. ALL the teachers and staff are amazing and I would love for my daughter to stay with them, but they have done such a great job that she will be moving on to reception with the best foundation! I am genuinely happy with the choice I made!

We've been incredibly happy with our son's experience at Kido Clerkenwell since he started in September 2024. The nursery provides a warm, stimulating, and nurturing environment that has allowed him to thrive.

The facilities are excellent, and the curriculum is thoughtfully designed to encourage development and learning through play. We've been particularly impressed with the level of care and attention he receives from the staff.

A special mention must go to the Manager. She's always approachable and responsive to any questions or concerns we've had.

We are also incredibly grateful to our son's primary carer. Her kindness, patience, and gentle approach have made a significant difference in our son's settling-in period and his overall happiness at nursery. We can see how much he adores her, and we feel completely confident leaving him in her capable hands.

We highly recommend Kido Clerkenwell to any parent looking for a fantastic nursery for their child.

Kido Clerkenwell has been absolutely wonderful for our 18-month-old. She settled quickly thanks to the warmth and support of the lovely staff. We actually signed up because we were told by several parents how great it is and then we found out for ourselves! The staff are really caring and wonderful and we couldn't have imagined a better nursery for our little one. Aside from all the great care and support, there is also excellent communication with parents. Hugely recommended in the highest possible way!

We've had both our children at Kido Clerkenwell-our eldest (now 7) and our youngest, although transfering to Kido Crouch End after a house move. We've seen the nursery grow from its early days into a well-established, nurturing environment. The manager has been a wonderful addition to the team-diligent, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. Her attention to detail gives us confidence that our children are in safe hands. The nursery fosters a strong sense of community and inclusion. At a recent Mother's Day event, I was especially impressed by how they handled allergies: a dedicated key worker in a red apron (the trained first aider) sat with the children to ensure safety. It may be standard practice, but the care taken made a strong impression. Beyond safety, the environment is warm and loving, and both our children have truly thrived there.

The staff has been wonderful with my son. They have helped him develop his speech and gain confidence. He is always very happy to go. The staff also communicates very well with the family letting us know what he needs to support with. We are also able to track his progress through the app and monthly reports from his key worker. It is a very nurturing environment.

My son enjoys his time at nursery so much so all I get is a wave goodbye and runs in eager to start his day! Kido staff have set him up with a great indoor and outdoor routine that has developed his skills. Manager and staff have been fantastic and supportive since the start and can't thank them enough. I appreciate the daily update after pick up on how his day was and through the parent app. I'm so glad I found this nursery.

We love Kido Clerkenwell. I was nervous about leaving my baby at first but I feel so happy knowing he's been taken really good care of. I love that staff always try to get the kids outside and the nursery organises a lot of activities e.g. animal visits and a bouncy castle. My favourite thing though is how caring the staff are. I really feel like they're a lovely team and they seem to genuinely like my son so I feel very grateful.

The nursery boasts a large, well-equipped outdoor area that the children enjoy throughout the year. This space includes a mud kitchen, vegetable garden, and plenty of climbing equipment, all of which contribute to a rich and varied play experience.

The feedback we received on our daughter's progress has been thorough and insightful, and any questions we had have been promptly addressed by the attentive management team and teachers.

We highly recommend Kido Clerkenwell to any parent looking for a nurturing and enriching environment for their child. We feel incredibly confident and happy with the care and education our daughter received here.

We have been sending our daughter to Kido since September 2020. We are very happy with the nursery and much appreciate the bespoke support, interest, kindness and care shown to us and our child over the years. Management and teachers are rapidly responsive to any questions and feedback on our daughter's progress is tailored and thorough. We have never deliberately "taught" her anything and she is clearly thriving and accruing knowledge and ability across the very varied curriculum offered by Kido. The effort, thought and preparation of materials for activities is of a very high standard and the focus on values of kindness and inclusion is particularly notable. Meals are healthy, no desserts and no juice which we welcome. Outside play is great with a huge area including mud kitchen, veg patch, and climbing equipment. Most importantly the teachers are very caring and genuine and our daughter has formed strong attachments. I am very confident and happy leaving my child in the care of Kido.

The staff at Kido have been great. Our daughter loves it. Communication has been regular and easy, they update us about our daughter every day and keep us in the loop on what skills they’re working on with her at any given moment.

My son has been very happy at Kido Clerkenwell. Since starting he has been supported with each transitional stage in his development and I have seen him flourish into a happy, confident and engaging little boy. The staff regularly update the app so I’m aware of his meals, naps and nappy changes so when I come to collect him I’m up to date with how his day has been. The weekly round-ups of the themes and activities along with photos are always a joy to read along with monthly updates on my son's progress as assessed alongside the early years framework. Overall, I am very happy with Kido Clerkenwell and would very much recommend it.

They have been amazing with our little one and really care for her safety, well-being and happiness. They keep us reasonably well updated on how her day has been and work closely with us on supporting her needs.
