A privately owned day nursery for children up to the age of five years. Highly skilled and dedicated staff provide children with an enabling and caring learning environment where they are supported to develop as individuals and reach their full potential.

Activities at the nursery are developed in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) which allow the children to learn to build positive relationships outside of their family. My daughter has been attending this nursery since she was 14 months old and is now 3 and a half years old. The quality of care from the team who work there is amazing! The nursery environment is gorgeous, it feels very calm and they really encourage creative and imaginative play. My daughter loves going!
Would highly recommend!

My little girl has been at Sunbeams since she was around 8-months-old, and I have always felt confident leaving her. I love the girls at Sunbeams, and I think the nursery is just brilliant, I have nothing but praise and recommend them to other parents when childcare becomes a topic of conversation.
If my little girl has returned to the nursery after being poorly, the nursery is happy to accommodate my calls when I ring to check she has settled back in well. My little baby has turned into the most clever and confident little girl, and Sunbeams have played a huge part in this. Thank you, Sunbeams.

Our daughter only recently started at Sunbeams for a day and a half each week, given she is in the baby room, our experience is limited so far, however from what we have experienced so far, we would for sure recommend Sunbeams
The staff are super helpful and informative. She has settled well so far,
and the staff have been a big support.

A lovely nursery with great facilities and very friendly and approachable staff. My little boy has been going here for a year and a half. and loves it, which is a testament in itself. Would highly recommend.

I have one child who attends Sunbeams, and I would have no reservations in recommending them to anyone. In fact, we already have, and our friend's daughter is joining the nursery shortly!
Our daughter loves going to nursery, and we feel safe leaving her there as the staff are great and the facilities
are excellent. We love that there is a big outside space and lots to do in the rooms themselves. Our child is developing really well, and it's been nice to have two 'come and see' meetings in the 7-months she has been there and regular progress reports. My one ask would be more pictures of her on the app so we can see how she is getting on, but we appreciate this isn't always easy when looking after so many children. Thank you, Sunbeams, for making the whole nursery experience really easy for us as a family!

Difficult to really judge as it’s our first child and has been through a Covid period so have little to compare with. Overall, very pleased with the nursery and how they look after her and her development. There are a number of things that were indicated prior to commencement that hasn’t been seen yet,
such as sit-in days and progress reports that have only just started. Also, they did say they change the menu regularly, but whilst varied, the food doesn’t seem to change much. It would also be nice if the nursery brushed their teeth, but this isn’t currently done.

Amazing nursery and amazing staff. All three of my children love it. They can't wait to go, and all the staff are lovely and know the children and parents well. My children have developed so much, and they have great relationships with other children and staff. The daily feedback is great to know how
they are doing, and they support you as a family. Nothing is too much trouble.

Sunbeams Thorpe Park is an amazing nursery. My daughter has been there since baby room and is now in preschool and has grown so much, and it’s thanks to the ladies that work there. Nothing is too much trouble, and they go above and beyond to make sure my little girl grows to her full potential.

love that she can just be herself, which is crazy and full of energy. I would definitely recommend Sunbeams Thorpe Park to anyone who was seeking a nursery for their little one.

Excellent nursery setting with lots of natural resources to play with, fabulous outdoor play area. The nursery is very clean, and my child has settled in well. The staff there are fantastic, especially in the toddler room, where my daughter is based. She has formed a lovely bond with all the key workers
in there, and they keep me updated about her progress through the app for each session. I enjoy seeing the activities she has tried, and I am updated through the app so parent/keyworker communication is excellent, as I wanted a nursery that updates parents through an app, and Sunbeams does this well. She is well cared for, and there is a variety of resources for her to play with to spark her imagination. I am very happy with this setting and would highly recommend. Three particular ladies are outstanding key workers in the toddler room, who my daughter loves playing with, and the nursery manager is welcoming, friendly and helpful. Thanks for making my daughter feel safe and settled quickly!

I have two children who currently attend Sunbeams Thorpe Park.
I would have no reservations recommending Sunbeams for childcare. I feel very comforted when I drop my children at nursery in the morning, knowing that they are in very safe hands and able to learn in a happy, welcoming environment. Both
my children have settled very well at nursery and are never hesitant to start their day at Sunbeams.

Wonderful, friendly, approachable, caring, supportive and encouraging staff in fantastic facilities. My little boy, now 3, has been at Sunbeams 2-3-days per week since 9-months-old and has always felt comfortable there. The staff really take the time to understand each child and help them thrive and

They both loved coming here. Beautiful building and fantastic staff. They still talk about one member of staff now.
The staff were always welcoming, and nothing was ever too much to ask.

Very happy with our whole experience. The staff are lovely, and my daughter has settled very well. The nursery itself is really nice and has a calming atmosphere. My little girl always comes out happy and always has lots to do and play with while she’s there. Would highly recommend Sunbeams.

My daughter loves going to this nursery - she has so much fun whilst she is there and has developed so much in the last few months (especially with her speech and general confidence around others). As parents, it is extremely important that we are comfortable with the level of care that she receives

The staff are absolutely brilliant. They are passionate, fun and always attentive and engaged. My little one has come on in leaps and bounds thanks to staff in the baby room and infant room.
The only thing I feel might be improved a bit is the food - I'd love to see more healthy nutritional meals being
served.
I know my little one is happy when he's there, and he loves the staff, so I'm super happy to recommend.

Since my son joined Sunbeams, we have seen a notable change in his development. He has always been quick to learn, but we noticed that he was using his spoon and fork at mealtimes and was feeding himself, as opposed to relying on us. As a child that spent much of lockdown in our living room, we were
very eager that he should join a nursery so that he could meet with other children of his own age. His progress since joining has been very encouraging, and we know that he enjoys his time at Sunbeams. The activities that he gets involved with are great and certainly keeps him stimulated.

Having had one child who has already been through Sunbeams and another who has been there for 2 years, I continue to be impressed by the standard of care. The nursery has dealt with Covid very well and I feel safe sending my child there. The nursery builds excellent social skills and I particularly

Our son has attended Sunbeams for a long while now, and we are very impressed with the nursery itself, and also the staff. All of the girls are extremely pleasant and are great with him. Although he's not good at actually going into the nursery, they are very good with him, and he soon settles down.
Huge shout out to his key worker, who he loves! Thank you for everything you have done for us over the time he has been at Sunbeams!

Hi, my name is Anna. My passion for childcare started in high school whilst studying childcare at GCSE which led me to go to university. I gained a BA Hons in Childhood and Youth studies and also gained my Early Years Professional Status. Working with children fascinates me as I love to see the learning and development they accomplish before they go to school. I have been working in early years for over ten years starting out as a nursery nurse, quickly becoming a room leader and then progressing to be a deputy manager. I joined Sunbeams in 2016 as nursery manager and have loved every second of working here. Being a mum myself to two young girls I understand it can be nerve racking time when starting your child at a nursery so we want to ensure we support both yourself and your child with this transition.”
