Kids Planet Thorpe Park

This is a fantastic nursery, my son has been going for a year now after he joined just after his first 1st birthday. He has learnt so much from nursery and it has really aided his development. The staff are absolutely brilliant, they are so caring and knowledgeable and really take the time to get to know each child and what they like, need and want. I picked this nursery off gut instinct and it was right. I know that he is safe and the staff look after him when he is there, I don’t have to worry. He will be staying until he goes to school.

Both of my daughters have attended Thorpe Park and have absolutely loved it. It’s such a beautiful setting with such an amazing team, all the staff are so friendly and welcoming! The resources are lovely and they have a fantastic outdoor space. We will be so sad to leave when our leaves in August to go to school. Huge thank you to the entire team who have always treated my daughters with so much love.

My little girl has been at Sunbeams since she was around 8-months-old, and I have always felt confident leaving her. I love the girls at Sunbeams, and I think the nursery is just brilliant, I have nothing but praise and recommend them to other parents when childcare becomes a topic of conversation. If my little girl has returned to the nursery after being poorly, the nursery is happy to accommodate my calls when I ring to check she has settled back in well. My little baby has turned into the most clever and confident little girl, and Sunbeams have played a huge part in this. Thank you, Sunbeams.

A lovely nursery with great facilities and very friendly and approachable staff. My little boy has been going here for a year and a half. and loves it, which is a testament in itself. Would highly recommend.

Our daughter loves going to nursery, and we feel safe leaving her there as the staff are great and the facilities are excellent. We love that there is a big outside space and lots to do in the rooms themselves. Our child is developing really well, and it's been nice to have two 'come and see' meetings in the 7-months she has been there and regular progress reports. My one ask would be more pictures of her on the app so we can see how she is getting on, but we appreciate this isn't always easy when looking after so many children. Thank you, Sunbeams, for making the whole nursery experience really easy for us as a family!

Difficult to really judge as it’s our first child and has been through a Covid period so have little to compare with. Overall, very pleased with the nursery and how they look after her and her development. There are a number of things that were indicated prior to commencement that hasn’t been seen yet, such as sit-in days and progress reports that have only just started. Also, they did say they change the menu regularly, but whilst varied, the food doesn’t seem to change much. It would also be nice if the nursery brushed their teeth, but this isn’t currently done.

Amazing nursery and amazing staff. All three of my children love it. They can't wait to go, and all the staff are lovely and know the children and parents well. My children have developed so much, and they have great relationships with other children and staff. The daily feedback is great to know how they are doing, and they support you as a family. Nothing is too much trouble.

I love that she can just be herself, which is crazy and full of energy. I would definitely recommend Sunbeams Thorpe Park to anyone who was seeking a nursery for their little one.

Excellent nursery setting with lots of natural resources to play with, fabulous outdoor play area. The nursery is very clean, and my child has settled in well. The staff there are fantastic, especially in the toddler room, where my daughter is based. She has formed a lovely bond with all the key workers in there, and they keep me updated about her progress through the app for each session. I enjoy seeing the activities she has tried, and I am updated through the app so parent/keyworker communication is excellent, as I wanted a nursery that updates parents through an app, and Sunbeams does this well. She is well cared for, and there is a variety of resources for her to play with to spark her imagination. I am very happy with this setting and would highly recommend. Three particular ladies are outstanding key workers in the toddler room, who my daughter loves playing with, and the nursery manager is welcoming, friendly and helpful. Thanks for making my daughter feel safe and settled quickly!

I would have no reservations recommending Sunbeams for childcare. I feel very comforted when I drop my children at nursery in the morning, knowing that they are in very safe hands and able to learn in a happy, welcoming environment. Both my children have settled very well at nursery and are never hesitant to start their day at Sunbeams.

Wonderful, friendly, approachable, caring, supportive and encouraging staff in fantastic facilities. My little boy, now 3, has been at Sunbeams 2-3-days per week since 9-months-old and has always felt comfortable there. The staff really take the time to understand each child and help them thrive and achieve their potential while having lots of fun. My little boy has come on leaps and bounds at Sunbeams, especially since being in the pre-school room. Can’t recommend highly enough

Great experience at Sunbeams. My little boy loves it here, and the facilities are excellent. Have been here since he was 6-months to now 3.5-years, and he has progressed so much, really caring staff too! Would recommend this nursery!

Fantastic nursery and settings. All the staff are incredible and go above and beyond to help your little one settle in. Wide range of activities. Using the app is a great feature, allowing you to check how they are getting on during the day. Highly recommend Sunbeams.

Very happy with our whole experience. The staff are lovely, and my daughter has settled very well. The nursery itself is really nice and has a calming atmosphere. My little girl always comes out happy and always has lots to do and play with while she’s there. Would highly recommend Sunbeams.

My daughter loves going to this nursery - she has so much fun whilst she is there and has developed so much in the last few months (especially with her speech and general confidence around others). As parents, it is extremely important that we are comfortable with the level of care that she receives whilst we are at work, and she couldn’t be anywhere better than at Sunbeams!

Since my son joined Sunbeams, we have seen a notable change in his development. He has always been quick to learn, but we noticed that he was using his spoon and fork at mealtimes and was feeding himself, as opposed to relying on us. As a child that spent much of lockdown in our living room, we were very eager that he should join a nursery so that he could meet with other children of his own age. His progress since joining has been very encouraging, and we know that he enjoys his time at Sunbeams. The activities that he gets involved with are great and certainly keeps him stimulated.

Having had one child who has already been through Sunbeams and another who has been there for 2 years, I continue to be impressed by the standard of care. The nursery has dealt with Covid very well and I feel safe sending my child there. The nursery builds excellent social skills and I particularly like the use of outdoor learning spaces and opportunities. I’d highly recommend the nursery!
