Rainbow Wood Day Nursery

My nearly 2-year-old attended Rainbow Wood for a few months. It was the first provision he'd been to outside of our childminder so we were a bit apprehensive. He settled really quickly and was happy for us to leave even the first time we had a taster session. There's lots of activities, toys and equipment for the children and they seem really well cared for.

The staff are friendly and there is a real family atmosphere here, with home-cooked meals, and a 'planning in the moment' approach to learning. There is lovely outdoor space at the back to play, including a wooden area where children learn in a forest school-led environment. Both my children go here and are happy, as am I to recommend it.

I have found the staff here to be helpful, professional and very caring. My granddaughter has recently started nursery - it has been a massive change for her and her parents. The staff here have helped us when she cries, put our mind at rest that she is fine there and nothing seems too much trouble. An excellent service, I would highly recommend the nursery.

They love going to nursery and have come on well, meeting their milestones with leaps and bounds since joining. The meals and snacks are great, always something different and not the same repetitive thing. I just love Rainbow Wood Day Nursery and would definitely recommend it to everyone. If your looking for a loving and caring environment for your child this is the nursery.

Rainbow Wood is like a home from home for my little girl. We do not have any family nearby so it was important that we found a nursery that provided our daughter with a family feel. She has made lovely bonds with the staff, manager and her friends. The communication between staff and parents is fantastic. They have home cooked meals each day, and everything tastes better than mummy's - even the toast!! The children have lots of opportunities to do extra activities at reasonable prices ie football, swimming, Spanish and music. The forest school provision is wonderful too and they go into the forest no matter what weather!

The range of activities and events that are organised is staggering and we can clearly see that our son is making great progress in terms of development. The nursery is always clean and tidy, the food is always nutritious and varied and the facilities are fantastic. This nursery is a credit to the staff and owners. Keep up the great work! Thank you.

I would highly recommend this nursery. My 18 month old absolutely loves it. He gets so excited when we drop him off. They do all sorts of different activities with the children and he's often coming back with different crafts, drawings and paintings. They are well fed and he eats something different every day. Its tidy and clean and the ladies are all very friendly and accommodating. I feel happy knowing that my son is happy and safe at a fantastic nursery. Thanks to all the staff at Rainbow Wood! You're all incredible.

Staff are all lovely and caring. My little boy arrives with a smile and leaves with a smile!

My son started here as the youngest baby. He absolutely loves it, goes in with a smile and is picked up with a smile. The staff are lovely and highly motivated. They have a keen interest in the child and this reflects in the happy atmosphere. I have recommended this nursery to everyone I know with children.

What a fantastic nursery! It's a lovely setting, ideal location close to a lot of businesses. The nursery is beautifully done and the rear playground has a lovely rural feel. The staff are very friendly, professional with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Couldn't recommend enough! Must pay a visit!
