Renaissance Nursery focuses on promoting self-confidence and self-awareness as staff support children's readiness for primary school whilst teaching them the key values needed in life.

The nursery aims to promote multiculturalism and languages as staff deliver the curriculum which has a key objective of teaching children British Values through the Seven areas of Learning and Development.

Children are encouraged to lead their own play under adult supervision and support, and to make choices and decisions throughout the day as they learn in a loving and caring environment. The provision is organised to encourage independence, sharing and working together. This is encouraged in all rooms. Where children are unsettled, staff offer cuddles and support, recognising and naming emotions and helping children to learn to self regulate their behaviour.

The skilled and experienced staff follow children's interests, delivering planned activities to extend children's skills. Whilst doing this, staff support children's learning in the three prime areas; personal and social development, physical development and communication and language.

The team love celebrating special days and trying food from around the world. Renaissance nursery celebrates it's diversity and the staff speak a number of different languages.

I'm very happy with your service and my son used to come here, because he enjoyed so much and he learned a lot and learn some words like "Hi, see you" even when we don't have class, he says why am I not going.

Renaissance Nurseries is by far one of the best nursery in Leeds. My children have been at Renaissance Nurseries since they were six months old, and they are now five and three years old. Very safe, clean and tidy. The staff and management are amazing with the children. There's a full range of equipment/facilities
for the children too. The children also get a variety of foods - the food menu is never the same, which I love! The value for money is worth it also - the government will also fund the costs for any parent/ parents worried about this. Overall, really happy and no concerns. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone. They also cover after school and holidays too.

My daughter has been coming to nursery since she was 9 months. Since the beginning the care provided has been excellent. She loves the caretakers and the friends she has made.The communication between the nursery and parents is very good, providing a feeling of safety. I am very pleased with our choice.

After visiting several nurseries in Leeds for my little girl, I’m really happy we found Renaissance. The team is lovely and caring, and you can see they really enjoy spending time with the children.
The place is clean, bright, and well equipped, with fun and creative activities every day. My daughter

Renaissance is 5 stars !! My children loved going to nursery and always happy when I picked them up. The staff are amazing and very helpful. The SEN team is fantastic.( For children with special needs, I recommend). I would definitely recommend this nursery to my friends and family.

Having recently moved to the UK, we needed a good nursery for our son, we found Renaissance Nurseries online and contacted them by completing an enquiry form, and requested a call back. The nursery contacted us and we completed all the required steps with an excellent guidance and clear communication
at every step and our son started. We are very happy with our son progress. The staff are highly experience and they always give excellent feedback and professional guidance. I would highly recommend Renaissance Nurseries Leeds to anyone looking for nursery place.

We couldn't be happier with this nursery, the staff are incredibly kind, patient and professional.
My child has blossomed in confidence since starting here and always comes home excited to share what they've learned. Communication with parents is excellent too - we always feel informed and reassured.
We're so grateful to have found this nursery and would highly recommend it to any parent looking for a nurturing, supportive and joyful place for their child.

It's been amazing here in Renaissance Nurseries (Armley). Ever since my child started I've noticed positive results showing in her way of speaking. She speaks English fluently now, interacts better and always loves going to school. During the holidays I got tired of telling her to exercise little patience
and that school would soon resume because she had always wanted to be in school. The staff are top-notch! Caring and loving with good communication. Honestly, I highly recommend.

Very caring staff who take into account individual needs. We couldn’t recommend it enough. Our son has developed a lot of skills and is well looked after. The menu is outstanding and caters to all nutritional needs, the activities provided are built to provide children with different experiences and

My son has attended since he was a baby and I absolutely love this nursery. The staff are fantastic and really make great bonds with the children. The way they interact with the children is wonderful and very respectful, and there are always engaging lessons, reading and play.


My son absolutely

loves it and has made good friends with other children and has been encouraged to develop at his own pace.


The nursery is immaculately clean and extremely covid-safe and their resources and sessions provide lots of stimulation for the children.


The food is homecooked and fresh and very diverse which has helped my son have an excellent relationship with food.


They are respectful of all backgrounds and celebrate all cultures which is important to us as a family.


If we have ever wanted to discuss our son’s progress they have done so quickly and they go out of their way to make you feel part of the family. Highly recommend!

Aicha is the Founder and Ofsted Registered Person at Renaissance Nurseries. Originally from Guinea in West Africa, she speaks five languages and brings a rich cultural background to our nurseries. Aicha is passionate about giving every child a voice and believes that all children deserve the very best start in life. With more than 18 years of experience working with children, she has developed extensive knowledge and expertise in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. She combines this with her childcare qualifications, professional training, and love for education, cultures and children to create nurturing and inspiring environments where every child can thrive.


Her studies in Social Sciences, African Literature and Philosophy, and Business Management, alongside her teaching qualifications, have shaped her vision for Renaissance Nurseries, a place where children are supported, celebrated, and given the foundations to achieve their full potential in a safe, rich, and multicultural environment where all children are welcomed and included.

Emma is our Area Manager at Renaissance Nurseries and brings extensive experience in early years leadership. Emma has recently completed her Level 7 in leadership and management and is currently studying towards her Master's in the same field. With over 25 years in the childcare and education sector, and several years as an Ofsted Inspector, she offers exceptional insight into quality, safeguarding, and best practice.


Emma is deeply passionate about safeguarding and is committed to ensuring that every child in our care is safe, supported, and able to thrive. She leads safeguarding across our nurseries, guiding staff to uphold the highest standards of practice and compliance.


In her role, Emma mentors and supports our nursery teams, oversees staff training and professional development, and works closely with families to build strong, trusting partnerships. Through her leadership, Renaissance Nurseries will continue to provide safe, nurturing, and inspiring environments where children can learn, grow, and reach their full potential.

Julija is our Branch Manager at Renaissance Nurseries. Originally from Latvia, she speaks Russian and Latvian. Julija is an extremely passionate and dedicated member of our Leadership Team. Her journey with us from a parent to a professional gives her a unique perspective and a deep understanding of the trust families place in us. Before joining us, she gained valuable experience as a Primary School Teaching Assistant while studying for her Education Degree at Leeds University.
Julija has a strong understanding of how to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, ensuring that every child is included, nurtured, and given the opportunity to thrive. She is especially passionate about outdoor play and firmly believes that real-life experiences are essential to children’s learning and development. She works hard to create safe, engaging, and stimulating environments where children can explore, discover, and grow in confidence.


Her warm and approachable nature makes her a strong role model for both staff and children. Julija’s commitment, knowledge, and care make her an invaluable part of Renaissance Nurseries, and her leadership continues to help us provide the very best start in life for every child.
