Summerhouse Out of School Club

My little girl started attending Summerhouse at the age of two. She loves attending. She has grown so much from this nursery. Her confidence and development, also social skills. Staff communicate with myself on every aspect, which I appreciate.

With my hours being all over the place the last few weeks, the manager and the team have gone above and beyond (where possible) to allow such flexibility in the boy's childcare. I would highly recommend Summerhouse.

Summerhouse has made my son feel at home. I have used other childcare, but unfortunately, I never felt they catered to his needs specifically. Summerhouse has a big outdoor area for playing, which also was a huge factor when I chose childcare.

Summerhouse has such warm and welcoming staff. They go above and beyond to make our children happy and safe. It’s wonderful seeing our son get so excited about going to Summerhouse. They really make an effort to engage the children and develop them in a very individualised way. Summerhouse really is committed to providing a safe, fun, and loving environment, and we’re very thankful to the whole team for what they do.

My son started after lockdown, and his speech is very delayed and also, had attachment issues. Since starting here, his speech has come on so much, and he runs straight in and gets so excited to go! The staff are so lovely! Would highly recommend them to anyone.

Summerhouse is fantastic with both of our kids. Our little boy is two and absolutely loves going, he even asks at the weekends if he is going to Summerhouse as he has so much fun. It’s great that he and his big sister get to play together, which is so nice to see! Can’t recommend them enough!

I can’t recommend Summerhouse enough; it’s amazing. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. My little boy started here 2-months ago and absolutely loves it; he settled in instantly. He loves playing in the big garden, and I love seeing all the activities he gets up to on Facebook. Brilliant nursery, highly recommend.

I cannot fault Summerhouse one bit. It is an excellent nursery, and my daughter loves going. I had to move my daughter from her last nursery as I felt they were not communicating with me, but Summerhouse has been fantastic at keeping me up to date. I wish I'd have moved her sooner. The aunties are always friendly and welcoming and support my daughter with her additional needs. The manager has advocated for us by supporting and putting us in contact with professionals to support her development. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Thank you for looking after my girl.

My children have been attending Summerhouse for a couple of years now. The staff are all very friendly and approachable, and my children very much feel they can approach them. The building itself is bright and clean. They have a big secure garden, which the children very much love. Thank you, Summerhouse.

The 'aunties' are all lovely and friendly and always share information.

The dedicated, hardworking, committed and child-centred 'Aunties' at Summerhouse go above and beyond caring for my daughters, they make up a huge part of our family's support. My youngest daughter has additional needs and is being assessed for Autism and her Aunties at Summerhouse have really taken the time to get to know her, understand her and manage what can be at times, challenging behaviour. The manager advocates for my daughter ensuring she has the right support and works closely with us and other professionals to create a safe and happy environment. Staff take time to follow plans set out for speech, language and development, and always want to do more to help her in any way. I can't recommend Summerhouse enough, they are just incredible.

Fantastic setting both my girls have attended over the last 4 years and they love it and are always happy and well cared for, the staff are all friendly and welcoming. I wouldn’t send my children anywhere else, thank you.

Putting our daughter into Summerhouse was the best decision we have made for her! She absolutely loves it! It’s lovely to see all the activities she gets up to on the Facebook page! She loves all the aunties, and is always talking about them at home! Even as a parent the staff are always lovely and pleasant and they are really easy to talk to if you ever have a query! They are all doing such an amazing job keeping our children entertained, educated and safe in such uncertain times! Thank you for everything you do for my little girl! Well done Summerhouse!

My son has been going to this nursery for over 2 years he loves it. Especially with all the uncertainty and all the lockdowns the nursery has done a wonderful job, the staff have done amazing, allowing all of the children to play safely and happily. And as my child has started half-day school this year the pick-up and drop off to the local schools is excellent, covering a variety of schools making it easy to be in any school without having to change nursery.

Summerhouse is a wonderful nursery which has amazing facilities for all of the children. The staff treat the children like their own and care for them in a loving way. My daughter was very shy when she began at two years old and would only want to be around adults in the nursery but has now become more confident and made lots of friends. This helped her so much starting school and she never looked back. A fantastic nursery and would highly recommend to anyone.

My four year old loves going to Summer House. The activities are very engaging for the kids and he never comes home hungry. This is the third nursery he has attended, and those things have been concerns at the previous two.

I would definitely recommend Summer House to any other parents.

Summerhouse is excellent my 2 children have both attended for the last 3 years! They love it there all the staff are brilliant, kind and friendly and can not do enough, there's always lots of activities to keep them busy and they love the food there. I get told to make Summerhouse meals at home all the time.
