Kids 1st Jesmond

I am extremely pleased with Kids 1st Jesmond. My 2 boys settled in very well and love their time there. The boys have a very good relationship with all the staff, as do I. The staff are amazing, they're genuinely very caring and supportive and are clearly dedicated to creating a positive environment for the children. There's a lovely atmosphere around the nursery. The facilities are fantastic, activities are engaging and the outdoor space is great too! The app is great and it's always lovely to receive photographs of the boys whilst they're at nursery! Overall a fantastic nursery!

Excellent, friendly and very professional team of staff. My child loved it here, was very well looked after, educated and brought her on a lot. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking to get their young ones into nursery.

My Daughter has been attending Kids 1st Jesmond for five months now and has settled in great! Although she was nervous her first few weeks the girls really helped to settle her in and put both of us at ease. My Daughter absolutely loves her days at nursery and now runs to the room herself without looking back! It's lovely knowing that she's in a safe environment with staff who will go above and beyond to help. The girls in the room listened to my requests as a parent and got to know my Daughters needs and comforts. We are so grateful for the help of all the staff at Kids 1st Jesmond for making nursery fun for my Daughter, while reassuring me that she is learning and being well taken care of.

One of the most crucial decisions as a parent is the choice of a childcare provider when the time comes and we are so glad we chose Kids 1st Jesmond. Our daughter has and continues to absolutely love her time at nursery. We are so fond of the staff team whose care, attention, engagement and safeguarding goes above and beyond. The nursery itself is bright, welcoming, clean, safe and fun! We couldn’t recommend Kids 1st Jesmond highly enough and are so grateful for the high standard of support, care and early-years learning our daughter receives there.

My little boys start at the nursery and were very unsettled, however, the staff were so helpful and accommodating in making sure he was well cared for and reassured at all times, whilst communicating with me when needed. The girls in the room would keep me updated with calls and pictures. Now my little boy loves coming to nursery. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the management is brilliant and so helpful. I was able to get extra sessions for my son when needed at short notice. There are always new activities set up in a very welcoming environment.

We would recommend the nursery to all family and friends. They are so flexible with dates when needing extra at short notice if they can accommodate the place. Our daughter has attended since being 7 months old and personally, we couldn't think of anyone better than the staff at Kids 1st Jesmond to look after her, help her grow and help her achieve her milestones. The girls go above and beyond with helping settle the children into their new environment.

My grandson joined Kids 1st a few months ago. We chose Kids 1st, with my daughter, because of its facilities. The nursery is all on one level and each room has direct access to its own garden. This was our second choice, the nursery we wanted was full. Since we have joined there have been a lot of changes and now there is a completely new management team. As a grandparent, it would have been nice to know these changes were going to take place. The nursery nurses are warm and it didn't take long for my grandson to settle.

We have been so impressed with the nursery on a whole but especially happy with his nursery class and key worker. My son has settled into nursery life under the care of their exceptional staff. I could not recommend this nursery enough.

Most importantly, the staff really engage with the babies through cuddles, tickles and songs. It's hard to leave your child in the care of a nursery but the wonderful staff are so very easy to put total trust in, to be the next best thing to caring for my boy myself.

Our son joined in July of 2018 at 6 months old and has been in Starfish 1 for the last 9 months. Choosing a nursery is a hard decision for any parent but we were provided on our visit with all the information and visibility of the great care and development they had to offer through an exceptionally dedicated team. For us, and from experience, its people who make the difference and we have not been disappointed. Our son took to nursery and has never looked back building a truly wonderful bond to see with his key worker and the rest of the team. The care and support which is being delivered is of the highest possible standard. Everyday introducing new activities and experience, we have not missed one minute of this thanks to the robust handovers provided by his key worker and coupled with the visual observations and written reports from them on an online platform. Our son happiness is the real measure of success and I can honestly say I don't know a more smiley happier little boy.

Our son loves going to nursery - the care is excellent and he's stimulated throughout the day. The staff are very welcoming, caring and professional; the managers are first class and seem to have an open door policy for parents. We've been so impressed by the nursery that our youngest will also be attending soon.

My little boy has attended the nursery since he was 5 months old (now 16 months). He has had nothing but exceptional care in the starfish rooms. The staff are professional yet approachable and the nursery is very well managed. More importantly, my little boy is happy and thriving.

I was initially very apprehensive about sending my daughter to nursery and she started here when she was 12 months old (now 2 years 5 months). Since she started nursery, I have been amazed by the care she has received. I need never have worried, Kids 1st in Jesmond is like a little family, every person working in the nursery knows my daughter by name and greets her as she goes in each time. Best of all is that my daughter adores it there, I have never worried when I have been away from her, she loves all of the nursery nurses who care for her, and sometimes cries when she has to go home! Would recommend this nursery to anyone.

My daughter has been attending Kids 1st Jesmond since she was five months old. Although I was nervous about leaving her initially my concerns were short-lived as I could see immediately that she was very happy when I dropped her off and picked her up. The staff at all levels are warm, informative and professional. My daughter is genuinely cared for while she is there and it shows as she has bonded really well with members of staff. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

Can't speak highly enough of the nursery and staff. Welcoming and nurturing environment, with lots to do inside and they have outside space too. Staff and management very responsive and get to know individual children well. My son has really thrived over the time he's been here. Thank you.

Lovely building, great staff and an amazing manager. Really happy with everything and would recommend to all. The cakes in the parent's room aren't too bad either!!
