Rayners Lane Montessori School provides childcare in a quiet and pleasant environment within the Beacon Centre, which is located between Rayners Lane and South Harrow. Rayners Lane Montessori provides a bright, homely & friendly environment, with individually focused areas of learning. There is a large outdoor space for children’s physical play, and a focus learning outdoor classroom.

The service provides a learning environment based on Dr. Maria Montessori’s philosophy and principles of a child-centred education, and it is their mission to provide the children and their families with a harmonious, nurturing environment where the whole child can develop according to their individual needs.

The classroom at Rayners Lane Montessori nursery is designed to provide a prepared environment which constantly stimulates the child's natural desire to learn and explore through the use of hands-on learning materials. They welcome families with children aged 6 months to 5 years to grow, learn and play in a unique atmosphere purposefully created for them.

The catering staff prepare fresh and nutritious snacks in the nursery with the children based on individual children's needs, giving them the energy they need for a busy day of playing and learning.

My son has been attending since he was three years old and is very happy there. He has settled in very well and loved the nursery. The staff are wonderful, very knowledgeable, welcoming and they provide an excellent environment and care. I love this place and does my child.

We have had an excellent experience with Rayners Lane Montessori. They helped my daughter to settle in and now she loves going. We like that she does a variety of activities such as music and sports as well as lots of learning through play. My daughter has allergies and the nursery have been very supportive
and willing to adjust the menu especially for her.

Ever since my daughter went to this nursery I feel really good because I know she is safe. She is calmer, more attentive, does not throw toys or objects about but puts them down slowly, drinks more often from the cup, plays more carefully and she is more friendly.

Many thanks from the heart for all your hard work, love, dedication, and patience with the children and for keeping personal belonging in order (toys, clothes etc) and making every day a fun environment to go to which was also very important.
Rayners Lane Montessori and all the lovely staff were part
of our son's development and first stages in life and helped prepare him for school through creative and educational activities. They also learnt the months in the year, the days of the week, numbers, and extra curriculum activities like creative cooks, show and tell sessions, Boogie, Mites, Physical - sporty, Spanish class through play and song that were easy to memorise. Also for our son to expand his wide learning abilities. A big thank you to all the team we will never forget you.

At first, I was a bit nervous to leave my son with a stranger. However, I can now see how happy he is when he goes to nursery and I can only be grateful for having someone like Rayners Lane Montessori contributing to my child’s growth and emotional well-being. They always take the time to smile when
we arrive and they are having the patience to say goodbye ten times when we leave because my son simply loves waving at the door, on his way out and then again at the window. I am very happy with the progress he made while being under the nurseries protective wing. The staff at Rayners Lane Montessori are pleasant to my son and I feel comfortable being away from my child, knowing that they will care for him and they will guide his steps to a harmonious future.

Very pleased with all the staff, they always take care of the children. They teach them how to behave and use things in real life. The staff are caring, the place is very friendly and clean. My daughter has attended the nursery since Jan 2018, there has a been a big change in her behaviour and the way she interacts with other children that's completely down to the nursery.
Before attending nursery she would be really shy and not interact with other children.
I am really happy with the
staff at nursery they are excellent. I would 100% recommend the nursery to new parents.

I am very pleased by the way my son is being looked after in the nursery. He is growing into a confident young boy and I can see him growing and learning things too. He is very happy going to and coming back from nursery.

My two-year-old is very happy at this nursery. The teachers are very caring and always have time to chat when they come to the door. There seem to be lots of different activities organised for the children daily which is great.
The teachers are always keen to engage and are always willing to listen
to me. Cannot fault the settings. Thank you.

I have worked in childcare for just over 16 years. I started as a Nursery Nurse and worked my way up to Senior Management, working with a group of nurseries primarily in London and the surrounding areas. My biggest strength is that I am a people person, I love to spend time with families and colleagues to create a collaborative way of working which encourages honesty and transparency. My role within Inspire focuses on driving quality and listening to and engaging our people. This alongside leading and working closely with the headteachers and teams at each nursery on my weekly visits. I have a huge passion for early year’s education and developing children to be lifelong learners, which I believe is crucial in the ever changing world that we live in.
