My daughter’s development is incredible, she always surprises me with new things she’s learnt at nursery. She always has a fun time with her friends.
Our child loves going in and comes out happy. He has come on massively since going to Beech Tree with his speech and language and always enjoys the different activities they provide. The team are so caring and attentive to our child's needs.
Highly recommend this lovely nursery.
The staff are FAB and always so accommodating, really pleased to have found them.
The garden/outside space is split for older and younger children and in some respects is limited BUT they do use the surrounding fields and go on walks so the children can run around.
Children get a great outdoor experience at Beech Tree, and benefit hugely from being able to use the grounds at Worthing RFC. Activities both inside and outdoors, are well structured and adventurous, and the children are allowed to be as creative as they can imagine. The menu is fantastic and very reasonably priced, and the children like to learn and discover by taking controlled risks during play. Communication between nursery and home is good, with regular updates reactivities on the Facebook page and via newsletter. This could be made more personal though with the introduction of an app/online learning journal for each child, e.g. Tapestry or similar, so that learning activities/achievements at home can be uploaded, alongside those experienced at nursery. Both of our children have enjoyed their experiences so far at Beech Tree, it’s a very positive environment for them to develop their skills and confidence alongside blossoming friendships.
The setting offers flexible options for child care and not set times like most playgroups/nurseries.
All members of staff are courteous at drop off and pick up.
I can’t fault the experiences I have had with Beech Tree and would highly recommend!
Definitely recommend the manager and her team to anyone wanting a fab setting for their little ones.
It is also worth noting that they have done an amazing job staying open during Covid and keeping our children safe. They have been amazing.
Always happy to help and always there to listen. My daughter has come on leaps and bound since being at Beech Tree!! Would highly recommend it to anyone who asks for a day nursery!! Also, it is pay by the hour so very good for parents who work shift patterns.
My son really enjoys his days at the nursery. The staff are great with him and encourage him. He's learning new words all the time and developing new skills. My son enjoys being outside and there are lots of opportunities (weather willing) for him to do that. Lots of toys to explore and to play with. The food is very good. My little boy seems to have at least two helpings at lunch!
My daughter began attending Beech Tree Nursery in May 2021. She is settling in well and enjoying singing nursery songs. Due to Covid, I haven’t been able to go into the building. The garden is small but they optimise the space as best as they can. They also regularly use the grounds around the building to take the children on adventure walks. The team are lovely. My only feedback would be maybe to send out small daily communication cards. We use to receive this from her last nursery and it’s nice to see what they have been up to and eaten that day.
We operate an open-door policy with parent communication and with the hopeful easing of COVID19 restrictions will be able to have open days again. We provide daily feedback at pick up and drop-offs and day sheets for our younger children. Due to daily access to 23 acres of grounds, our gardens are set up as outdoor rooms for learning and exploring in.
Our boys have been going to this nursery for a number of months now. They both got upset when they first joined but over time, thanks to the great environment Beech Tree provides, they have come to look forward to going each day and are always excited about going in. Beech Tree clearly puts the childs needs first thanks to their child-led philosophy, particularly important to anyone following gentle parenting. We are provided with regular updates on our boys' activities as well as the nursery as a whole, they are always working on new activities that help foster the childrens imaginations and provide them with constructive skills.
I would certainly recommend Beech Tree! My son loves going and he always looks like he's had a great day. I love the ethos where the children choose their activities and everything is child-led. I also love that the staff are busy playing and interacting with the children rather than assessing what they do and collecting evidence. I also feel that every member if the team is valued and I know that if they are cared for then my child is! My son goes two days a week but surprises me every day with what ha has learnt at nursery.Thank you Beech Tree!
Our foster son had many issues before he started at Beech Trees. Speech delay, mutism, attachment issues, low self confidence. He is now speaking well and flourishing in every way. He happily runs into the building. I am delighted with his progress. Also the teachers give feedback daily. They give advice on his learning ability. Always helping him to achieve. Setting regular goals.
Our son joined Beech Tree Childcare in February 2021. He has settled in very well and the staff are an absolute delight, very friendly and attentive. We feel happy to leave our son in their hands as we believe they love and look after him along with them supporting his learning journey. Our son previously struggled with being left but he will just walk in with a smile on his face now. Great place, highly recommend.
My nephew cannot wait to get to nursery, he loves the staff and always asks when is he going to see his key worker. He did not enjoy his last nursery but loves going to this one. We are pleased he is happy and we would recommend this nursery!
My little girl goes here and she absolutely loves it. The people working for the nursery are caring, friendly and helpful. My wife and I can see our little one is developing amazingly every day. The people here are absolutely supportive and they are so far the best childcare provider in the area, I would highly recommend and they will find the best suitable developing method for all children.
My son started at Beech Tree Childcare this month, he was going to another nursery before this and it was always a struggle at drop off. However at Beech Tree Childcare, we have never had a problem, he is very happy to go in and comes out with a big smile and can’t tell me quickly enough all the activities he has been up to. As a family, we are amazed at the change in his eagerness to go to nursery now! All the staff do a fantastic job, I can hear the chuckles of enjoyment from the children in the garden as I walk back to the car... a real happy place for them all. Well done Beech Tree!
I feel so confident in my choice of sending him here and they really do look after the children so much and has really boosted my son's life. Just a huge thank you for all they do and the love they give for their roles.
My daughter has been going to this nursery for almost 3 years. Started to send her when she was around 6 months old as the nursery worked with my working hours and my family. My daughter absolutely loves it there she is so happy when she is going to nursery and all the new things she gets to explore. I couldn’t have hoped for a better experience for my child.
I always get welcomed at the door by friendly faces which makes such a difference when being apprehensive about leaving my baby. They always make me feel so much better and I know my baby is in the safest hands possible.
Management are amazing at Beech Tree. The manager and learning director are so hands-on within the rooms and very flexible to my families needs. All staff know my baby and take an interest in his home life, for example, my baby is half Brazilian and when staff found out about us teaching him Portuguese; they ordered bilingual books, learned new songs etc. Absolutely fantastic to celebrate each child's diverse backgrounds.
I wouldn't hesitate and have indeed recommended Beech Tree to friends.
Beech Tree has been so amazing with my son and in reassuring me when he cries now and then at dop off. The staff there are fantastic - so caring, loving and plain wonderful! I know that my son is in the best hands possible and he is always so happy when I pick him up. Their way of teaching and playing with the children is exceptional and works so well. I wouldn't put my son anywhere else and I look forward to my daughter going there.
