The Ark Day Nursery

My daughter, now 7, has attended for 6-years. She goes to the Breakfast club and is dropped and collected from school 4-days a week. The girls are fantastic in all rooms. At ease knowing she is being well looked after. Lots of activities and great outdoor space. Food cooked on-site, and daughter eats it all! The summer scheme is brilliant with local trips and park visits. Highly recommend.

My daughter started in The Ark Nursery - baby bugs room in January. The girls were just brilliant; they helped her settle in so well, which wasn’t easy. They do lots of different developmental activities and help them progress all the time. The app is brilliant as it keeps me reassured while at work, and they send pictures, which are a great way to stay updated. Highly recommend this nursery. Thanks for all of your hard work everyone, it is much appreciated.

The communication between staff and parents is excellent, giving regular updates in person and via the app. They are very approachable. They are always encouraging children to learn new skills through structured and outside play. My little boy is very happy there.

My son is 21-months-old, and he absolutely loves attending The Ark Day Nursery. Every day you notice he is growing and learning new things! The staff are amazing with all of the children. Highly recommend this nursery to anyone!

My son who is fourteen months old has been attending The Ark Day Nursery since January 2021 and I am extremely pleased with the high standard of care they offer. My son has settled in well and the communication from the nursery is excellent. They regularly post updates on the app and all members of staff that I have interacted with have been extremely professional and friendly. They provide detailed descriptions of my sons activities, meals and were accommodating with my request as a key worker to potentially stay open until 6.30pm for me if necessary. I would highly recommend this nursery.

The Ark Day Nursery is a fantastic nursery. I started sending my daughter there when she was eight months old, she still attends their after school's facility and she’s now seven. My two year old son had been attending for approximately one year. They both love it! I am so happy and confident leaving my children there, the care is first class. The staff are so helpful, friendly and welcoming. One hundred percent recommend!

I currently have two children in The Ark Day Nursery. Having viewed various nurseries in advance of placing our first born, The Ark Day Nursery was by far the most professional, caring and stimulating nursery and so it was our first choice. Our son has gone from Baby Bugs right through to the Zone and our daughter is currently in Caterpillars. We have not had any issues and both our children love going to nursery. As working parents, knowing that our kids are well cared for and having lots of fun is our top priority. The real jewel in the crown of The Ark Day Nursery are the staff. They are just fantastic, it's so clear from our children's smiling faces at the end of the day that they have been extremely well looked after. The environment, with lots of outside space for the children is excellent and the daily, weekly and monthly activities also greatly help with child development. Both our children have special dietary requirements and this has been catered for with no fuss. Top rated nursery!

The Ark is an outstanding nursery. I am so happy that I decided to change from another local nursery just before my sons second birthday. Had they not been so oversubscribed when he was 6-months-old, I would have sent him here right away. The staff are fantastic, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. As a first time mum, I feel relaxed and confident that my son is having the best time and receiving the best care. The daily activities, food and outdoor time/space is exactly what every young child needs to grow and develop.

Both my children have attended The Ark since they were one. They are now 10 and 8. They are both extremely happy. The Ark is clean and tidy. My children are always engaged in excellent activities and have benefitted much from attending The Ark and have grown in confidence. The staff are welcoming and professional and willing to help out with any change in circumstances which may arise. I would have no hesitation in recommending The Ark to anyone.

This is my child's second nursery and I can honestly say it is the best move I have made. The staff interact with the children constantly and are always busy and having fun as you can check up on an app which is brilliant as it keeps you up to date on what your child or children do throughout the day. The staff are so warm and welcoming and always have time to tell you how your child's day went. Couldn't recommend this place enough.

Our 2 daughters attend The Ark. One in Baby bugs and one in Rising 5s. We are delighted with the care given to our girls! They go in smiling and come out smiling. Their day is reported back via an app so we can check in on them as needed. A wide range of activities to include outdoors as and when possible keep the girls engaged throughout the day. Plenty of role play, art, messy play, baking and loose parts play. My wee one even got to enjoy an outdoor day with den building! Our oldest has attended from 5 months and has come on leaps and bounds. Twice yearly, open nights with key workers has given great insight into how they are getting on. The menu is fabulous and they come out better fed than us. The staff are courteous and go above and beyond. We feel they genuinely care about our girls and have a positive impact on our daughters' lives. The nursery really does feel like an extension of our family as the girls are so comfortable there. Could not recommend this nursery enough!

We have been using The Ark at various levels since 2012. We have always had a positive experience and the apps now make it so much easier to keep track on your child's experience throughout the day. It also provides a great way of keeping track on invoices etc. All in all, I would highly recommend The Ark to any parents looking for a place and have already done so to several friends and family.

We have been sending our 11-month-old to The Ark for 2 months now and couldn't be happier with her care. Having enjoyed a lockdown maternity leave and lots of 1:1 time I was nervous about leaving our little one. However, she is loving nursery and is very happy to go to the lovely ladies who care for her. We have loved to see the wide range of activities she has been engaged in and have been reassured to see the healthy and varied meals she gets. The facilities are super and very safe and the regular contact from the Ark team with parents is great.

My children have been at this nursery from 5 months old and now the oldest is 4 years. They love the nursery, the staff are brilliant, friendly, professional and diligent. The nursery has a brilliant management team, who make this nursery an excellent environment for the kids and staff alike. In over 4 years at this nursery, I can only sing the praises of the nursery. They have excellent activities for the kids, healthy food, and truly lovely staff. Furthermore, if parents ever need additional care, they are more than helpful in trying to accommodate requests.

I am extremely pleased with The Ark. My three children have attended over the years and really enjoyed the facility. The staff are very caring towards my youngest child who currently attends. She does a variety of activities and has a good routine within the daycare. Management is very professional and quick to update me with any information about my child's care. I would highly recommend The Ark.

I have 2 children they have been in the Ark all the way through from babies and now attend the after schools. Both kids have enjoyed their time in the Ark, the staff are friendly and they do so much with the kids. They also have great outdoor space which I feel is so important!

I have two daughters, one, 5, who has now left The Ark and my 2 year old is currently still in the Ark. I cant recommend this nursery enough. We have been using the Ark for almost 5 years now and its great. The managers and staff are friendly and helpful and all the children enjoy their day. The outside facilities are great with a 2 large gardens with slides, swings and a sensory patch all of which is safely enclosed by large fences. Parents receive daily feedback on their child's day and a 6 months review to let you know how they are progressing and achieving milestones which for me is fantastic is a miss/ missed a lot of their days. My eldest learned so much from her time at The Ark and it set her up perfectly for Pre-School.
