Little Flyers @ Broxburn

I would absolutely recommend Little Flyers for all ages.

Staff are always friendly and seem to want to help. The rooms seem to be spacious and the garden area is impressive.

My little boy started at Little Flyers in July, he has come on so much since being at nursery. The staff are always professional and friendly. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for childcare.

I was so concerned about my 1 year old going to nursery as he has a nut allergy and the other local nursery I tried settling in with, I felt, didn't understand how anxious I was about leaving him in someone else's care, in addition to normal anxieties leaving any 1 year old at a new nursery. I felt extremely happy after my initial meeting, I truly felt that the manager took the time to listen and reassure me. After attending settling in days it didn't take too long to start to trust Little Flyers and their staff. They genuinely are a lovely bunch of people and extremely importantly there is not a high turnover, I can't think of one person that has left in the time that I have been using the nursery. My son enjoys attending and he tells me in the evening, in his toddler talk, activities he has done and the names of staff and children he was playing with. I couldn't recommend this nursery more, I was the most anxious of anxious Mothers! Also, the garden area is enclosed.

The team at Little Flyers @ Broxburn are just amazing in the baby room :) They made myself and my baby so welcome. The manager helped massively with my return to work due to personal circumstances.

I have nothing but positive stuff to say about the nursery and myself and my baby has settled back into working life with the manager and the staff :)

My granddaughter has been attending for nearly 2 years and loves the nursery. The staff are lovely and always keep the kids busy. I pick up every now and then and it's nice being able to put a face to the names that she talks about at home. I enjoyed my invitation to grandparents day last year and am looking forward to this years event.

The staff are welcoming, loving and extremely helpful and she has developed close bonds with all of them, which is testament to the high caliber of the staff and the level of consistency amongst them.

My almost-two year old has been attending Little Flyers since he was 11 months old. He absolutely LOVES his time there. The facility is excellent and the staff are absolutely wonderful - there is always an exciting programme of activities for the children and the staff really tailor activities to individual needs and interests. Knowing that my son is in such good hands makes it a bit easier to leave him on the days I go to work. My 5 year old daughter also attends the after school club - again fabulous staff, great activities and very much enjoyed by my daughter.

My children have attended Little Flyers since they were 6 months old. We moved them to another facility for a year due to changes in my husband's employment as required close proximity to him for drop off/pick up. However, we had no hesitation in returning to Little Flyers once work circumstances permitted. I have complete confidence in the staff whom my children speak fondly of when at home. I asked my children about their favourite things for the purposes of this review. The list went on and on....... I am reassured the staff have taken the time to get to know us and know they feel free to contact me at any time with queries or concerns. This lets me go to work with confidence that my children are both happy and safe. Their individual needs, which with children can change on a daily basis, are met.

As a mother of the child using Little Flyers I was very impressed with everything, place, staff and activities they had on offer. My son was left from age of 10 months and been in all the different nursery rooms, he's now 5 years old and will be leaving the middle of August to start school. He's had an enjoyable time and is very happy to be there. I feel he has learned so much and has turned out to be a very confident little boy and is definitely ready for school this year. All the staff are so kind and considerate and are very fair with all the children. Been very impressed with this nursery to care for my child and gave me peace of mind while at work, that he was cared for very well and having lots of fun.

Little Flyers is very convenient for transport links ie buses and parking. The staff are excellent are very informative on what your child has been doing that day when you go to collect your child.

Little Flyers is an outstanding nursery, my child has attended since he was 1 year old and he is now ready to go on to his next adventure which is school. He will be staying though at their after school club. We chose the nursery as they were able to drop off and collect my son for school nursery and will continue to provide collections when he starts in P1. During his time there, we have found all staff fantastic and it has been lovely to see staff happy in their work environment. All staff have developed a lovely bond with my child and this has made us feel confident in the care that he receives. He is always coming home with 'creations' from his art activities and he has loved the football classes that have been run by the nursery.

My son has attended the nursery for almost 2 years and we are having a fantastic experience to date. He has settled perfectly and gets really excited about coming to nursery. Staff in all the rooms are very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. I feel he is treated as an individual and that all his needs and preferences are met. He loves the outdoor area and we are really pleased with all of the developments which are being made. We also used this nursery with our older child for around 3 years and would thoroughly recommend it!

I feel Little Flyers is an excellent nursery with fantastic staff. My child has been in since he was around 10 months old and my wife and myself have always felt he has had an excellent level of care and has built a good relationship with all his carers. The Learning Journal the nursery make use of is a great wee tool that helps keep us updated with his progress and we can see him coming on leaps and bounds from his time at the nursery.

My daughter started attending Little Flyers in Broxburn from 12 months. As an anxious first time mother, returning to work, I can honestly say the nursery staff made it as easy as it could be for me. My daughter settled quickly due to the kind staff. I feel reassured knowing staff are very honest with their feedback on how my LO has been each day. Now she is older I see what a positive effect the nursery has been having. My LO loves attending and has developed very well socially due to the regular interactions with the other children. I see the positive effect attending the nursery and the support from the nursery staff has had on her development all round, confidence, counting, speech and manners to name a few. A good range of activities.

My daughter has attended Little Flyers nursery since Jan 2015. The relationships she has built with staff and other children has been brilliant, often speaking about them at home - she loves when it's nursery day. She has also gained so much confidence and independence. Staff are always friendly and welcoming, they show a genuine interest in your child and get to know your child's personality and habits quickly. You are kept up to date with child's progress through an online journal and parents evenings. Would highly recommend.

Little Flyers is an amazing, friendly and caring nursery establishment. My daughter started at 11 months when I returned to work. I was quite worried about how both myself and my daughter would cope with the transition but the staff helped us both cope (even giving me a shoulder to cry on on my first drop off day!) They have wonderful activities for the children to try as well as a clean, safe environment and plenty of learning opportunities. A fantastic big garden that is safe and allows the children to play and develop whilst getting fresh air and exercise. My daughter is now in the room for 2-3 year olds and she loves it. She has formed strong bonds with the other children and stuff who genuinely care for her each day. I couldn't recommend it highly enough!

My daughter has attended Little Flyers for 7 years from nursery and now the Breakfast and After School Club. She loves it there. The team are so supportive, really care about all the children and adapt to the individual child needs so well. Really can't recommend them enough, brilliant team and I feel confident with them knowing how happy and well cared for she is with the Little Flyers group.

My daughter has attended the nursery for nearly 3 years. She has received an excellent level of care from the minute she started. She has built up great relationships with all the staff and all her wee pals. She loves art activities and has really enjoyed the hatching of the chickens that the children have been looking after. My daughter loves the caterpillar music class that visits weekly and enjoys her weekly football classes.
