Bear's House Day Nursery

I would highly recommend. My 2 little girls aged 3 and 18 months both attend this nursery. All of the staff are very friendly and informative. They have made my children's transition into nursery a very easy and positive experience. They come home from nursery very happy and excited to tell me about their day. The staff have a good bond with both girls and the owner is very helpful.

Since my son started at the beginning of August he has settled straight into nursery life at Bears House. All the staff helped settle him in and make me feel at ease leaving him. He comes home telling all his family about his days at nursery and is very eager to come back. Thank you to all at Bears House.

My children have attended for a number of years, and plan on sending my 3rd child here. We have never had a problem in the whole 3 years. Every child’s need is met individually to what they require, simple or complex. The staff are very caring, loving and warming as well as staying professional. I’m always updated at the end of the day how the day has been, all meals are healthy and homemade with a large variety of different foods which has definitely helped with food at home. My children’s progression has been fast due to the 1 on 1 they received daily. My daughter has just left to start school and they’ve noticed how she’s exceeded the reception requirements for the whole year, a perfect nursery for early years learning! There’s not enough space to write everything I would like too but it’s 100% worth having a look round or enquiring if you are considering placing your child in the nursery.

My daughter started going in October last year and I was a bit nervous about leaving her at a nursery at first. But I'm so glad I did and chose bears house as she loves going and settled in straight away. She has come on so much since starting, she comes out of nursery in such a good mood and tells me all about her day. All the staff are so lovely and friendly always have the time to tell you anything you want to know about the day, what they've been doing and had for dinner etc. My daughter also has really good bonds with them all would highly recommend it to anyone whos looking for a smaller more home from home nursery it's lovely.

I gave just a phone call a month later and the manager was very friendly and welcoming for us to come the next day. I was very pleased by the atmosphere of Bear's House and my child was very happy to meet other kids! She felt very at ease and so did I very pleased by the attitude of the staff. My child did start two weeks later without crying like an independent little girl.

They are just amazing people.

My little boy is 2 and has only been at the nursery for a month or so (since September 2017) but he absolutely loves it at Bear's House. He's settled in really well and the staff are all lovely and very patient with him (he can be a bit shy and standoffish). He always comes home in a good mood and has lots of fun. I was quite anxious about him going to nursery but I'm very glad that I chose Bear's House.

Communications with staff is amazing, we never have any questions left without an answer.

My child has been attending this nursery for quite a long time now and myself and my partner are very happy with the care our child receives. The staff are really friendly and my child always has a great day, learning lots of new things. We have really enjoyed looking at our child's file, it's great to see the progress made and the hard work and love put into them. Would highly recommend this nursery.

She has been great for four and a half years since opening the nursery. He is coming home so excited to tell us about his day and all the activities he has been doing could not recommend highly enough very nice environment and genuine caring people.

I would highly recommend this nursery. My 10 month old is now into his 3rd week at Bears House and I couldn't ask for a more happier environment for him to be in. He is always really excited to go and always looks like he has had a great day when I collect him. I never worry about him throughout the day as I know he is in good hands. The staff are lovely and always make the time to tell me about his day. They keep me updated and write in a diary that tells me what he has been doing. I am really happy that I have found this fab nursery.

As any parent I was very apprehensive of leaving my little chap with anyone other than my own mother but they soon put my mind at ease, and on a daily basis they update me on how his day is going with photos of all the fun he is having.

I have recommended this nursery to a couple of friends who have also enrolled their little ones. Speaks volumes. Couldn't praise or thank them enough.

My little girl has been going to this nursery since the start of January. She is 8 months old. The staff at Bears nursery are very friendly an keep you at ease, they let me know throughout the day how my daughter is getting on. I would recommend this nursery to friends and family. In my opinion it is the best nursery around.

Since my little girl started in September, she has progressed so much. She loves to go to nursery and would go everyday if she could! All the staff are lovely and welcoming and she settled straight in without no problems.
