Brighter Beginnings Day Nursery, Openshaw

My child couldnt speak alot and didnt really know her abcs but know she know how to talk(she talks alot now) she knows most of her abcs and she always has many stories to tell and about all of the new friends she made

My elder one graduated from this nursery and I choose it again for my second one.

when my daughter first started (in rainbow room she's 2) I was always on edge, I'd message every time she was there to see how she was and always got reassured, she has been there 6 months now and I know she is well looked after why in their care. She speaks so highly of the staff in her room and enjoys her time there even when she does go in a little upset which is very rare but she soon cheers up quite quickly and they always update me rather with a observation or a quick message which is so reassuring for me. I'm very comfortable with my daughter being at this nursery, when I pick her up she always tells me about her day and how much fun she's had and all the activities she's done. She has built some very strong bonds with staff members and even asks for them at home when it's not her days to be at nursery. I couldn't thank all the staff enough for all the hard work they have put into my child.

We've had a really positive experience with Brighter Beginnings Wetherby Street. My 2 year old has settled in well and built strong bonds with the staff and other children. The team are friendly and keep us well updated on her development both verbally and through the app.

She is always happy and full of energy when we drop her off. We are also very pleased with the varied and nutritious menu as she eats well there. Overall we feel confident and happy with the care she receives.

I will start off by saying how fantastic all the staff have been since my daughter started nursery, each member of staff has treated my daughter with such care and compassion. My daughter is coming on leaps and bounds every single day whether that be her speech progressing or her getting more sociable with other children and that's all thanks to the staff at her nursery for allowing her the time and space to grow into the clever little girl she is. So a massive thank you to all the amazing staff at wetherby street nursery.

I was overly emotional and worried about my son in the nursery, especially as mother going through a difficult moment. But the reassurance I got from the staff members was exceptional. Great staff and safe environment!

This nursery is amazing . My child has progressed so much since being in this nursery, all staff are so polite, it's very clean. The food is also brilliant my child loves the food they have there. My child loves playing outside they have good things for children to play on

The level of care is fantastic. Brighter Beginnings provides a perfect balance of learning, play, and emotional support, helping children grow in confidence and independence.

What means the most to us is how much our son loves going there. He is always excited to attend, which speaks volumes about the environment and the people caring for him. It's incredibly reassuring as a parent to know that he feels happy, safe and valued every day.

Lovely staff,always communicate with me about the day how my boy's day is.Staff has a positive approach when you drop off and pick up .All staffs are lovely and professional and available to talk if having concerns.Nursery has lovely play area around,so children can explore and play outside and enjoy.

My little boy has a physical disability and additional needs. I was naturally worried about handing him over to the care of others. I had three nurseries to choose from. I am beyond elated that I chose Wetherby street Brighter beginnings. The nursery is perfect for my child. The staff are all so warm, welcoming, attentive, caring, understanding, supportive and dedicated. After two visits , picking up on the qualities of the staff and instantly feeling safe and excited my child could not wait to start. There were no tears on the first day, he ran in barely having time to say bye. The tears came picking him up, he did not want to leave. He cried for a month being picked up. . This nursery is Fantastic, so much so that without hesitation I pay for him to have extra hours per week, money well spent. . The varied activities, support and stimuli he receives at Wetherby means there are no more tears picking him up. He is content and ready for a nap. I can not recommend this nursery enough

We are very happy with this nursery. The staff are caring, friendly, and always make my daughter feel safe and welcome. My daughter has learned so much and enjoys going every day. We've had such a positive experience with Brighter Beginnings. Since starting here, my son has come on so well-especially with his speech and confidence in playing. It's been amazing to see his development.

The staff are caring, supportive, and clearly passionate about what they do. They create a nurturing environment where children feel comfortable and encouraged to grow.

I also really appreciate the effort they put into activities that help with learning and social skills. It gives me real peace of mind knowing my son is in such good hands.

Amazing nursery. My little girl has really settled in since the beginning. All staff are amazing. They have really helped with my little girls anxiety and confidence. Also amazing at helping with day to day challenges we face at home

Started my child in January shes 2, absolutely amazing transition. My girl absolutely loves nursery, her teachers & her friends shes made. I get daily updates when shes there, the teachers have been amazing! My girl has eczema and can flare bad, allergy too and it did scare me her starting somewhere new that didnt know her but wow has she settled in and cant wait to get there on the days shes in. Even the teachers from the different years (class) even know her and always say hello and goodbye to her. Above and beyond. I have major anxiety in general and especially when it comes to my children and at first I was on edge when she started but we are 2 months in and I feel happy, calm & enjoy knowing shes having the best time at nursery. Just want to say a big big thankyou to everyone here. Amazing nursery.

What more can a mother need, absolutely amazing!

We are very happy with this nursery and the care our son receives here. The staff are incredibly kind, patient, and attentive, and they always make sure the children feel safe, happy, and included. It's clear that they genuinely care about each child and take the time to understand their individual needs.

Our son has grown so much in confidence and social skills since starting here. He enjoys the variety of activities, especially the creative play, outdoor time, and learning opportunities that help support his development.

Communication with parents is excellent, and we always feel informed about what our son is doing and learning each day. The environment is warm, welcoming, and well organised, which gives us great peace of mind.
