Little Rays Nursery Moira

I have two children currently at Little Rays (ages 2 and 4), and both have attended since around one year old. They both love going in, and have developed really good bonds with the staff who are always engaging and very supportive. They provide a great range of activities and plenty of outdoor time for the children, as well as lots of seasonal fun items during the year. Highly recommend!

Such a wonderful nursery with great staff and facilities. My little girl is well looked after and even though she is a rather fussy eater the staff don't shy away from offering her the food and working to try and expand her pallet. My little girls loves going every week and when she has to go home there are usually tears as she wanted to stay longer. We'll worth the money we pay.

We have two children in Little Rays Nursery Moira. The facilities are excellent, and the range of activities and dedication to the children is great. The use of apps is great for constant communication during the day regarding our children. We know that our children are safe and well cared for at Little Rays. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and all make a real effort with getting to know the children and understanding their individual needs. Both of our children have thrived there and love going.

The nursery provides a safe, reliable and high-quality level of care. The environment created by management and staff is warm, positive and child-centred - with lots of thought and effort put into day-to-day and seasonal activities. The rooms are bright, colourful, clean and well-maintained. The outside play areas are great and can accommodate all weather outdoor activities. There is a big focus on nature and the outdoors for mental and physical wellbeing of children. We have complete peace of mind knowing our children are in great hands.

My little one has recently started at Little Rays, and she has settled so quickly. The updates on her day and progress are fabulous, and it's great having the confidence in the team to look after her. They provide an excellent range of food and nutrition and help her try things I possibly wouldn't always try at home. I 100% would recommend it to anyone in the area!

My daughter has been at Little Rays for nearly three years. She's now in their preschool as well. I couldn't recommend Little Rays enough; it's fantastic. All the staff truly treat my daughter as their own.

My daughter first joined Little Rays when she was one. She was born in lockdown, so we were very nervous about sending her to the nursery, but the staff are so welcoming and involved - all our nerves were for nothing. She's now a toddler, and her speech and development have come on amazingly since she joined. The app is great for keeping up to date, and the staff are second to none. Wouldn't send my little one anywhere else

My son has been attending Little Rays since he was five months old. I cannot praise this nursery enough! The staff are amazing and go above and beyond for all the children. They update me throughout the day and provide lovely photos. My son has a milk allergy, and they have accommodated his needs without any issues and provided him with amazing dairy-free alternatives. The staff are so friendly, and I leave him at nursery without a worry. I know he's being left in fantastic hands, and I trust them 100%.

My daughter has attended Little Rays from the age of two the staff are great and very caring. I also received feedback on my child’s development and the progress she had made. Her speech development greatly improved during her time at Little Rays. my nursery pal is great for keeping me up to date during the day. Management are very approachable and friendly. The outside space is excellent.

The staff are excellent with our daughter and always go above and beyond to ensure she is well looked after. I was initially nervous sending her to nursery as she was born in lockdown but she settled in so well and I’m sure that was down to the staff. She’s now in the toddler room and runs in every morning to see the ladies, which is so lovely to see. The app is also brilliant as it means you can check in and see how she’s doing and the staff are brilliant at posting photos and activity updates. They also do brilliant craftwork with her so she brings home cards for Christmas, Valentine’s Day and Easter, which is great to share with the grandparents. All in all, we’re very happy with the level of care and attention Little Rays provide.

Lovely team, well organised and a happy child. Little Rays are always willing to go above and beyond, the staff are so friendly and the little extras add lots of fun and excitement. Would highly recommend.

Our little boy has been at Little Rays for just over two years now. He’s not been the easiest to settle and was very quiet, timid and teary at the beginning. And with all that starts and stops with covid, the staff insured he was integrated back into everything with ease. Adding additional support at drop-offs as and when required. Any issues or concerns have been dealt with promptly and I couldn’t have got through the last year without them, special thanks to the Manager and her team who have made the preschool year, fun, entertaining and full of learning and I can put my hand on my heart and say our little one has thrived during his first academic year. Thanks, ladies.

It would be great to have more regular formal reports as to key milestones that are being reached, developmental behaviours, and social activities. These haven’t been received. We don’t know if they are using any ICT. My nursery pal is really useful - when updated.

My daughter has been going to Little Rays since she was 9 months (now 21 months) and she loves it. Staff are all great and keep the children busy with lots of different activities, including lots of outdoor play and messy play! The staff put up lots of photos on the app to let you see what they’ve been up to each day. In what has been a very difficult year Little Rays has been a slice of normality, and as our daughter is an only child it’s been so beneficial for her to have socialisation with other children. It’s also a great bridge to a more formal preschool environment.

Would highly recommend. All the staff are lovely and seem to build great connections with the kids. My little boy always has a smile on the morning when I handover him over, which makes things a lot easier. They use an app which is great to keep up with what your little one is eating and sleeping. There are always so many great activities on there as well with photos of your little one doing them. He also seems to love the food that’s cooked for them. Nice to know he’s eating well.

We would have no hesitation in recommending Little Rays even over the other excellent day care facilities that our 2 older children attended. It genuinely is that good.

I have watched my daughter who comes from a single child home, thrive within Little Rays Moira and really learn how to mix with others. Girls are incredible, and I am so so grateful for everything they do from teaching her to calling when she is off sick just to see how she is. Would highly recommend.

I couldn't recommend this nursery highly enough. I have two children attending Little Rays in different classes (including the attached pre-school). The care and support they have provided over the last 3 years, and the last 12 months in particular through Covid, has been exceptional. Nothing is ever too much trouble to make sure the children are both safe and yet surrounded by fun activities. Thank you Little Rays!

Both our children started Little Rays when they were under a year old and they love it! The staff are excellent and they have developed extensively in every aspect. We really appreciate everything Little Rays do!

My little boy has been attending Little Rays from when he was 10 months old, he is now primary 1. I cannot recommend Little Rays highly enough, the standard of care and love is second to none. The staff are always happy, friendly and welcoming and nothing is ever too much bother. The nursery have dealt with the covid 19 pandemic brilliantly and I am happy and content sending my son somewhere I know he is safe and having a ‘normal’ day on the other side of the door. Parents are unable to get into the nursery at the moment but I’m always kept well updated at the end of the day and the My Nursery Pal app is super for seeing what he has eaten and got up to that day.
