Kids' Country Day Nursery

I am totally happy with all aspects of the service provided by Kids Country Day Nursery. My child settled in quickly and well. This really is a unique nursery which I would not hesitate to recommend to others and actually frequently do!

The nursery has beautiful outdoor areas in a beautiful country setting with animals too. So much thought is given to organising special themed days including Children in Need, Halloween, Christmas where you can take your child even if the date does not fall on their scheduled attendance day. The nursery goes the extra mile to involve parents too.

Since starting the nursery in January we have felt nothing but welcome. The staff are warm, friendly whilst professional. Our son doesn't want to come home. The settling sessions made it very easy and the visit to our home from his key worker made the transition simple from his last nursery, especially as we had just moved house. I wouldn't send our second child any where else once it's her turn to go.

We are so happy with Kids Country Nursery. Our little girl has been going for 5 months and is very settled and so happy to be there. All the staff are friendly, happy and say hello. The staff are always playing or doing something with the children. Our daughters day is varied and fun filled. The facilities are outstanding and their ability to play outside come rain or shine is fantastic. The nursery always feels clean and the toys and equipment look smart. We couldn't be happier!

We, but more importantly our son love Kids Country and we recommend KC at every opportunity. The staff are amazing and the activities they get up to each day amazes me. We really love that the children get so much time outside but are free to come back in if they want to. Each time my son attends KC he eats like a king. The food is nutritious and varied each day and on a weekly basis. When we go to collect our son it takes us 1/2 an hour to get him into the car. He loves it, showing us where he plays, eats and running around.

Can't recommend Kids Country enough.

Excellent and very modern nursery with lovely facilities. The building is light and airy.

The staff are very happy and eager to be helpful as the children settle in.

The food is all cooked on site and is well balanced.

Just an incredible place. We moved our little girl here from another nursery that we had not been happy with. We have never looked back. Our gentle, sensitive little girl just loves it here and settled in so quickly. The staff are wonderful and caring and really go the extra mile. The facilities are outstanding and I just wish I could spend all day there sometimes! The outside space is amazing and certainly my daughters favourite part of her day. She talks about the animals all the time!

I recommend Kids Country to everyone. My eldest child wasn't happy about going to her previous nursery and now she is. She loves Kids Country. For a mother that comfort is priceless. The Manager and her team are marvellous.

I really like the drop off, whilst parents can come in and settle their children, staff are also proactive in 'taking' my son if he is a little reluctant. I also think this is a good start for school drop offs. I think the activities available for the children are excellent and varied. I am also very impressed with the recent 'pre-school' area and am noticing my son counting at home much more confidently and I have also noticed some letter recognition and lots of ABC singing :-). Full praise to all the staff who work tirelessly but still manage to have smiles on their faces at the end of the day, and (unless something is really bad) they are always positive about my son (who I know can be very strong willed) but it is nice not to constantly hear negative messages. I would like to know how you deal with 'negative' behaviours (pushing and mean comments) as I have noticed this has increased recently (e.g you cant be my friend, etc.) Overall we love it and thank you :-).

My son recently started at this nursery and has settled in very quickly. The staff are all enthusiastic, friendly and professional and it's reassuring to know that I'm leaving him with people that seem to genuinely enjoy caring for him.

The facilities and focus on outdoor space are fantastic and it's nice to know that his creativity is being developed each day with lots of different activities.

Although he has only been there a short time I feel like the staff have taken the time to really get to know his personality and his likes and dislikes. He is always happy and excited to arrive and worn out from all of the excitement of his day when he leaves!

Very friendly welcoming staff, made me feel really at ease about my daughter starting with them, helped her settle and I can relax knowing what a great time she will have with them. A very personal service and a lovely environment both inside and out. Even better, my daughter loves it!

Extremely welcoming, supportive and flexible nursery. The facilities are excellent and the staff are dedicated and caring. We chose this nursery because of the access to the outdoors and the positive and gentle approaches used by the staff and we haven't been let down. Lots of lovely and thoughtful 'extra-curricular' opportunities for parents to get involved too which helps us to feel like we know the place and the staff and are great fun!

I think this nursery is absolutely fantastic! They are always thinking outside of the box with fresh and exciting new activities to do with the children. I am always informed with what my little boy has been doing throughout each day and Kids Country have really helped him learn, grow and discover new things. All the staff are extremely friendly and have amazing enthusiasm. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone seeking a safe, happy environment for their children.

My 2 year old boys love this place. Since starting their speech and development has moved on massively, they come home singing the songs they have learned complete with the little hand actions, and talk about their friends.They do lots of cool activities and spend a lot of time outside. The array of animals they keep is great, who ever heard of a nursery with it's own pony?! Great varied diet, strong security and friendly staff.

At £50 a day per child (day 5 in a full week is free), it's certainly not cheap, but then again it's less than the ones our friends use.

My son has been going to Kids Country since he was 6 months old. I've recommended it to a lot of mummies who's children now attend and they are as happy as my elf. He loves it and enjoys all the activities they do daily with them.
