The Nursery is based in Fulham, not far from Wandsworth Town station. It's a spacious, modern setting with a garden for all-weather outdoor activities.
The friendly, dedicated staff run lots of activities designed to bring out the potential in every child. The children enjoy science experiments like 'volcanoes', cooking, gardening, construction, creating small worlds, messy play with sand and water, and more. They often venture outside too, with visits to the local shops, library, and parks. They have visited local businesses such as the dentist, café, and the local Vets. They have also had visits from local Police, fire brigade and teachers from near by primary schools.
A dedicated on-site senior chef prepares balanced meals using recipes from LEYF’s nutritious menu. The senior chef also comes into the rooms to do cooking activities with the children, this includes making sandwiches, pizza, biscuits, smoothies and much more.
The parents are invited in for Stay and Plays, to celebrate festivals or to share their talents, and also parent workshops on themes like Makaton or toilet training.
Half-day sessions are available for children over 3 years old.

All fees listed include the cost of breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
One-off extra days cost £117.20 for all ages.
Non-Refundable Registration Fee: A fee of £100 is payable upon acceptance of an offer. In addition, a deposit equal to 50% of the monthly fee is payable upon acceptance of an offer.
Late Collection Charge: £30 per 15 minutes, or part thereof.
Late Payment Charge: £30 for late payment of monthly fees and/or interest at a rate of 3% above the Bank of England Base Rate on any fees that remain unpaid on the 2nd day of the month.
Overpayment Return Administration Fee: £30 per overpayment.
Mid-Week Surcharge: A 6% surcharge applies to mid-week bookings (bookings that do not include a Monday or a Friday).

Our son has settled in very quickly. He is always excited to go in and join his friends/teachers every morning. The team does a great job creating an environment where children can bond and socialise. There is a clear focus on children’s well-being and development.

My daughter absolutely loves it here I couldn't be happier with the nursery couldn't ask for anymore! She has only just started here a short while ago and already loves the nursery. She has made so many friends and I can see the love and care the staff have for my little girl.

My daughter started The London Early Years Foundation (LEYF) nursery in January 2023. This has been the best decision I have made for my daughter. The London Early Years Foundation (LEYF) nursery has been amazing with her transition and I can see how she has developed in many ways in such a short space of the time. The London Early Years Foundation (LEYF)team are so kind, supportive, welcoming, knowledgeable, encouraging and consistent in their approach. My daughter is learning a lot and building even more on her social skills. My daughter looks forward to going nursery to see her friends and also to see her nursery teachers. My daughter has adapted and is more settled as a result of this. Thank you greatly.

We want to thank you for your hard work keeping our children safe and teaching them. Lovely nursery and pre-school. I feel the school and staff are working so well together and pupils feel the benefits. Wonderful teacher and the support they give is very much appreciated. Even though my son is still in the process of settling I do believe that he has improved socially and academically already. It's truly wonderful! A very big plus is the Parent Zone by LEYI where we enjoy being able to log in and view our child's daily activities and also contribute to this lovely journey.

Our child very much enjoys going to the nursery school. She loves all activities that are open to them. As parents, we are happy to see our child develop so well. The staff gives a lot of individual attention to the children and we are impressed by the quick progress made by our child. Our child joined the nursery in September last year and did not speak English at the time. Now she is so confident and makes herself understood. The nursery also has great facilities, including an outside garden with plants (planted by the children). Children also go regularly to parks and playgrounds nearby and it offers good visits out of the school (eg. fire brigade, hospital, to give books to children there, dentist ...).

My son and I have had a very positive experience with his nursery. The staff are all lovely and genuinely care for the children they look after. he loves going to nursery and always enjoys it. He has learnt a lot since he has been there. We will really miss it when he leaves!

Leyf Townmead Community Nursery is a brilliant nursery. They have managed to settle my child easily and made me feel comfortable. The staff are an asset to not only the business but the community. They really are silent heroes. Nothing could ever repay them for the work with my child.

Overall Experience
Townmead Community Nursery is a fabulous nursery. My daughter loves it and has made loads of friends. She especially loves her keyworker and talks a lot about her at home. Her keyworker has been very helpful also.
