The Nursery is based at the heart of Stockwell, seconds from the tube. It's a light and spacious setting with separate rooms for different age groups. The Nursery also has a sensory room, a soft play room, and a large garden.

The team is highly skilled, with several holding qualifications at Level 3 and above. The children enjoy many different activities each day, from construction to science experiments, creating small world dolls’ houses and farms, yoga, gardening… the learning possibilities are endless!

A dedicated chef prepares balanced meals using recipes from LEYF’s nutritious menu.

My boy loves going to nursery, you can see it by his big smile the minute he gets there, he has so much fun and he’s constantly learning. Staff are brilliant.

The staff are all really friendly and do lots of fun, creative things with the kids. My son has been made to feel very welcome by everyone and often wants to stay and keep playing when I arrived to collect him!

My daughter is extremely happy at Stockwell Gardens. She loves attending and is always very reluctant to leave. We have seen her grow so much in confidence and speech - everything since starting.


The staff are all so caring and friendly, they do everything in their power to help, teach and encourage

the children. They treat them like their own, it is so comforting to leave my daughter knowing she’s happy, safe and loved.

On my way back out of the nursery every morning and when picking my child up in the evening I am consumed by an immense and, frankly, slightly unhealthy jealousy. I really wish I could spend my days here and have as much fun as the kids do.

Our little boy started at LEYF Stockwell Gardens when he had just turned 1. He settled well into the baby room and the staff made sure he was comfortable. He has since moved up to the next learning space and his language and personality have flourished. The key workers are extremely approachable and
friendly, ensuring the children feel comfortable and supported. They have consistently shared progression in parent meetings and I am very happy with our experience there. Thank you!

Stockwell Gardens Nursery is a great nursery with a homely and happy feel. My son is really happy there and the staff seem to genuinely care about the children. The range of activities offered is varied and educational, with lots of thought clearly put into them. The staff respond well when there is
anything to report home about, and are always quick to reply to any admin queries. The only area for improvement, in my opinion, is the garden space, it'd be great if there was some wildlife that could be used to educate the children on nature. Overall, however, I am very satisfied with Stockwell Gardens Nursery and would recommend it to friends and family.

The manager and all the team at Stockwell Gardens nursery do a fantastic job to create a friendly, supportive and engaging environment for young children and toddlers to thrive. Nothing is more important than the care and development of one's child, and the Stockwell Gardens team have impressed me with
their care, sense of community and fun activities they create for the kids. They go the extra effort to make sure growing up is both educational and fun and everyone is welcome. Our son has been very happy there and we're delighted that, among the many options available, we chose to go with Stockwell Gardens. At every development phase from baby to toddler to young boy, the team have always paid attention to the needs of our son and helped ease the transition from one room to the next. The key workers have been great and our son has bonded well with each one. Would highly recommend.

Stockwell Gardens is a wonderful nursery. I moved my son there by chance when his nursery closed down unexpectedly and I couldn't be happier. It is clean, well equipped and the staff are top class. Such a warm, friendly atmosphere and my son loves it.

Exceptional staff in the under 1's room, enthusiastic, happy, committed and caring.

My son has been going Stockwell Gardens since 2016 and I have had no complaints to raise, but praises on how this nursery has nurtured my son and has taught him so much.


He's in his last months until he starts reception and it's going to be sad to leave.


The staff have been great and the Manager

has done a wonderful job. She is so approachable, as with every staff member. I am always greeted with a hello and how are you.


The children get great nutritional and healthy meals and snacks. All made fresh from the chef.


They encourage parents to participate in a lot of activities with the children, for example, reading to the children to stay and play.

We love Stockwell and our son (aged 2) loves it too. The staff are friendly and caring and he does a range of interesting activities. The manager is lovely and cares about the children, parents and staff. It is also very well equipped, with a garden and soft play room.

Hello, my name is Bhumika and I'm the manager of Stockwell Gardens Nursery & Pre-School. I've been with LEYF for the past eight years, first as a deputy manager and for the last three years as a manager at Weir Link and Henry Fawcett nurseries. I love leading on pedagogy and practice and building a harmonious team around me.
