Tilly-Mints Cherubs Day Nursery Ltd

Lovely little setting grossly let down by immature and unprofessional management. My eldest son attended here and enjoyed it, but unfortunately we were offered term-time only hours for my youngest son from April 2024 only to be told this was no longer an option when we attended with him for his first visit. We challenged management on this only for them to refuse to take any responsibility, leaving us without childcare.

Tilly Mints Day Nursery is an amazing nursery to send any child to the staff are so amazing with every child and they are amazing with us parents too. My children love attending this nursery and learn so much and always love to tell me stories from their day.

Everyone there is so welcoming and friendly. The staff are very attentive. They know my daughter as well as I do.

Both children have been to this nursery and I couldn't have wished for a better place for them to go. The staff are lovely and very helpful with any questions or queries. Both children have come on really well since starting nursery, learning skills that will help them in school and general life. I would recommend it to anyone.

My little girl has been going since she turned 1 last June and she absolutely loves it! The girls there are amazing and I couldn’t thank them enough for how much my little girl has learnt being there 3 days a week. Always comes out with a smile on her face.

It really does take a community to raise a child, and I’m very thankful that Tilly Mints staff have been part of that community.

My daughter has attended Tilly Mints since September and she really enjoys it. I never have any issues with her not wanting to go. The staff are all lovely and I feel like I get to know what she’s up to with updates on the app something that was lacking in her previous nursery. Overall I would recommend this nursery to anyone in the area.

Tilly Mints is a wonderful nursery. My little girl was a lockdown baby and only ever knew how to communicate with an adult until starting the nursery she's come on amazing talking about all the other children and what they've been up to! The equipment at the nursery is amazing having real tools is just amazing!

Would recommend this nursery- friendly staff, a balanced diet, the hours are great and they are accommodating. My son has definitely improved his speech and learning since being at this nursery. Activities are varied and love that you can see all the progress and everything that is going on in the app.

Amazing nursery. All staff are lovely and treat my child as if she was their own. My child settled from day 1 and gets excited to go in. I always get informed about what she has for dinner and what activities she does during the day. If I have a question I message on the app and they respond very quickly which I am very grateful for. Highly recommend.

All staff and facilities are excellent. My child loves all of the staff and talks so much about them all and how they care for him and his friends. Would definitely recommend the nursery to anyone.

Tilly-Mints is a brilliant nursery school. My daughter loves going, all the team are so friendly and helpful, she also loves to come and tell me all about her day, what she’s had to eat and the activities she’s done with her friends. I love all the photos and updates you receive throughout the day and the stay and play sessions that are sometimes available.

My little boy has been going to this nursery for almost 2 years now and they have been absolutely fantastic with helping him settle in and grow in confidence as he sometimes has a hard time at handover, they have been so patient and understanding with him, he has started to show more with his confidence and speech and his learning, they keep me updated throughout the day with what he's eating, and the things they're doing which is great for anxious parents leaving their child for the first time. My child is due to start school this September and I just know that he is going to do great all because Tilly-Mints has helped him a lot, especially with independence, could not recommend this nursery enough.

My son was forced to change nursery due to the close of his original. I thought he would struggle as he’d made a good friend at the first one, but the staff at Tilly-Mints made him feel welcome and now he has a whole new friendship group. His learning and behaviour have improved since joining Tilly-Mints and I’m absolutely over the moon with how much he is thriving there. I couldn’t thank all the staff members enough for their work.

With regards to the following topics, honestly, I'm not sure about ICT access for the children, but I feel like whilst they're this young, it's best to let them play and learn that way, they'll be introduced to UT facilities at home and when they go to school. I don't feel badly about the outside play space, it's more a shame for the nursery that they don't have more land and more space for outside play. But they seem to make up for that with the different activities they have for outside. And my little one always seems to have fun regardless.

We have had nothing but positive experiences with the nursery, the staff and management are fantastic, very supportive, caring and friendly. There is a good structure and range of activities to support development.
