Les Petites Etoiles Bilingual Montessori - Tufnell Park

Worth noting with this Covid19 strange time, that the nursery made the environment safe for the children to go back full-time as soon as it was permitted.

Our son attended Les Petites Etoiles for a year. It was his first nursery and the transition from home was very smooth. The staff immediately knew how to welcome him and make him feel safe. Everyday, a range of fun, creative and physical activities were carefully organised. Parents were regularly invited to give talks or read stories to the class and we really felt part of the nursery. The food was varied and healthy and our fussy little eater became more and more inclusive over the months. Having a bilingual setting was a plus for us as a French-speaking family. Our son not only grew in confidence but he also became more independent and developed his English skills. The management was attentive to the parents' voice and very accommodating. Communication with parents was excellent as we received photos and a detailed description of the activities every two weeks via the app. What we loved most about the nursery was the staff who is truly caring and engaged.

Our daughter attended Les Petites Etoiles for 2 years from the age of 15 months. At home, our two spoken languages are French and English, therefore, having the option of sending our daughter to a bilingual nursery was ideal. Les Petites Etoiles, for us, didn't just offer a bilingual setting but also a highly nurturing environment with very professional and caring staff and well organised activities. Our daughter has developed so beautifully during her time there, becoming more independent, creative and speaking equally well in English and French. She formed a special bond with all her teachers who always kept us updated on her progress via an app and reports. Management was also always so responsive and helpful with any queries we had. Two things we also loved about the nursery were the three-course meals they received, which is traditionally French, and the weekly book library.

Our son attended Les Petites Etoiles from aged two until just before his 5th birthday. It's been such a great experience, with lovely, caring staff, a stimulating and wholesome environment, delicious organic food and a great network of other kids and parents. The nursery has a great culture, and we feel it has benefited him so much in terms of his mental and emotional development. We are so happy we chose this nursery, and can't recommend it highly enough.

Our daughter absolutely loved Les Petites Etoiles and we did too! She started there when she was a year and a half and we’ve only just left over a year later because we’ve moved house. The staff are amazing, very caring and organise great activities. Our daughter loved the food, cooked on the premises. There are very regular updates sent to parents on what they’ve been up to and an end of year folder with photos and pictures they’ve drawn. We highly recommend the nursery!

Our daughter started at Les Petites Etoiles just before her first birthday. We are both English speakers and no French is spoken at home. Our daughter has just left Les Petites Etoiles and started at an independent day school for girls in Highgate. We could not have been luckier getting our daughter a place at Les Petites Etoiles. Not only is her French now at a very high standard but she forged friendships with staff and other children at Les Petites Etoiles which will last a lifetime. The staff are not only highly motivated and ambitious for the children they care for but are able to foster a uniquely close and loving atmosphere. I was in tears when we said goodbye to our daughter's teachers at Les Petites Etoiles. I am certain she will never forget them.

My two daughters went to Les Petit Etoiles, so we know all the classes and teams from babies to four years old. This is an amazing place with an incredibly professional and friendly staff. The curriculum is great and bilingual. Teachers do an amazing job and make sure they respect your child's own learning pace. Communication with the parent is also a great plus, regular feedbacks and reports. You really feel being part of a family. I really recommend this place. Thanks again to all of you.
