Woodberry Day Nursery (Sholing)

My daughter attends this nursery and loves it! She comes home every day exhausted! The nursery sends me a notification with photos showing me what my daughter has been up to during the day, which is great! She has a huge variety of food and will now eat absolutely anything! The staff are very caring and will help out however they can!

Our daughter has so much fun but is learning new things every time she is there. She makes friends and has so much to tell us when we pick her up. I would absolutely recommend Woodberry Day Nursery.

Staff are caring and thoughtful and take time to get to know your child. Excellent outside area is really lovely now and our daughter really enjoys going in. The parent app helps keep up to date with what she is up to and what she has eaten.

My oldest son has been attending since he was 3 months and has always loved it. The care shown to him and us from the team has been excellent. When we were due our second child, it was not even a question that he would attend Sholing. The team are always thinking of different things to stimulate and encourage children to learn. The outdoor space is excellent. The setting is like a home from home. Would highly recommend.

We’ve used this nursery over the last four years for first my daughter and then my son. Both children have loved their time at nursery and have formed genuine attachments to the staff and key workers. We are always kept informed of their progression and milestones even with parents not being able to access the nursery due to covid. We have found all the staff to be friendly and caring, and I would highly recommend the nursery.

Both of our children have attended this setting, with our younger currently in preschool there. We are so delighted with the experience we have had over the years and whilst there have been some staff changes this has not impacted the experience or care our children have received. The nursery has a real personal family feel and the love and care for the children is evident in how happy our children have been. Our youngest quite often cried leaving nursery as he is having too much fun so that in itself tells you how good it is rated. We have never experienced any issues and if there were, we are confident the staff would deal with it promptly. The approach to COVID and precautions have been brilliant and reassuring and the use of the app to communicate real-time messages is an added bonus.

Great nursery, my daughter really enjoys attending. She is learning so much as well as making new friends and playing.

The staff at Woodberry are exceptional and he has been extremely lucky to have such wonderful key workers. From eating anything to potty training going so smoothly to naps being a success, every member of staff has been so supportive. He loves it here and so do we!

The staff are fantastic. The care they give my daughter is superb and considering she previously went to an Ofsted Outstanding nursery, I really do believe Woodberry are better. The facilities and the range of toys she has to play with are excellent, and she is shown so much care. She is developing wonderfully and I really do see a true partnership between myself and the nursery. I recommend them to anyone looking for a day nursery!

We couldn't be happier with the care and levels of learning we have experienced with Woodberry Day Nursery from the under 2's to the pre-school. Our daughter is thriving there. She happily talks about her friends, the activities that she has done and the staff who make it all happen.

The new outside area is great, my child loves it. Since starting at Woodberry Day Nursery my child has grown in confidence and independence - can't fault them.

I honestly can not recommend this nursery/preschool enough, the setting is amazing and the staff are incredible, you can genuinely tell that they care for the children and love their jobs. My niece and nephew have flourished since they started and get so excited when they know its a 'school' day.

The staff at Woodberry Sholing have been very helpful, caring and friendly. I find that they create a good learning atmosphere for kids. My son has become more confident over the months he has been there. Thank you.

Wonderful nursery since day 1 when I just came to have a look around. The impression I had then, it's still with me and I love it. Staff are wonderful, the nursery is nice, tidy and clean, which is what I am after. Any nursery I've been after visiting this one, I was comparing to Woodberry, but none of them hit that bar as high. Me and my little girl are very happy and pleased with this nursery, staff and everything there. Not changing my mind looking for better ones, because there isn't. Thank you.

I'm never anxious about leaving our daughter at Woodberry Sholing - she is always happy when picked up and we receive brilliant communication from her key worker about how her day has been, as well as Tapestry updates.

My daughter started at Woodberry in April 2018 and settled in very quickly! She always looks forward to going to nursery and is always happy when I collect her! All staff are friendly. Highly recommended to others!

I was apprehensive at first as my first child. But my daughter has settled from the get go so pleased with them. Highly recommend this nursery.

Over the years, three of my children have attended Woodberry in Sholing. All three have been quick to settle and come home full of excitement about the activities and adventures they have been part of. They have each built a strong bond with their key people - two of whom have been the key person to all three. I really cannot thank the team enough.
