Streatham House Nursery

For me, choosing a nursery was made extra hard with my son being a lockdown baby, so he had had hardly any interaction with strangers, but I knew straight away that Streatham was for me. The amazing staff took their time to gradually settle him in even when I thought all hope was lost! He absolutely loves nursery now and is so excited when we approach the door and can't wait to get in the room. I owe everything to Streatham; you allow me to go to work stress-free knowing that my child is having the time of his life; thank you so so much! The development and confidence he continues to show are down to you guys!

My son joined the nursery in September this year. He has settled in really well and loves to go in each morning. His speech has developed since he started, and he is coming on in all areas. The staff are lovely.

Absolutely delighted with the way in which our grandson is enjoying his mornings at the nursery. We know he is coming on so much and is treated so lovely by all of the staff. Regular updates, both written and photographs, are sent to show more details of the fun and learning that he is experiencing. Our daughter has looked around at many in the area and is so pleased with her choice. We now see him so happy each morning wanting to go and enjoy his time there. Would recommend the nursery to anyone!

The log is amazing as well. I and my wife love getting the notifications of him having fun - recently don't always get an update though.

The changes that are being made in the nursery are wonderful. Being able to see what she gets up to on the app is fabulous, and how it relates to EYFS is excellent.

We have been really impressed with every member of staff and the quality of care provided. There is a good range of activities too. Our little boy is very happy at the nursery, and we think that says it all!

Our child has always been happy coming to nursery. She has been settled, and the staff obviously care about all the children. Where possible, staff and rooms are consistent, which helps a great deal. Activities are engaging for the children. During Covid, we have always felt that our child is safe due to the nursery setup. We are kept informed of any changes promptly.

I’ve really enjoyed the increased interaction, images and stories shared via the app. Our child’s key worker has been so helpful with supporting/encouraging positive behaviours, which we are trying to implement at home too.

The recent decline of the nursery has been very saddening to experience.

My son has been coming to this nursery for a few months after transferring from another nursery school in the area, my son has difficulty with his speech and this nursery school has done wonders for him, the staff here are very nice and approachable. I would recommend Streatham to anyone in the Crosby area, the staff work closely with external support such as speech therapists, in particular, two support staff members have been fantastic with our son and have been instrumental in helping him become prepared for primary school.

Our daughter has been here since she was in the baby room. She absolutely loves the place and all the staff who do a great job.

Our daughter has been at Streatham House Nursery for two years now and we have found the nursery very accommodating and flexible throughout the whole time. She is very settled and happy which provides us with confidence in our choice. We are beyond happy with how she is learning and progressing. There is a wide variety of activities - yoga and Spanish are her favourite ones!

We are so happy with Streatham House we have already started our youngest in the baby room. I’m sure he will be as happy at Streatham House Nursery as his big brother is.

The staff are all very welcoming and friendly to both parents and children alike. The nursery is very flexible and accommodating which is handy if something unavoidable happens. My daughter loves going to the nursery and I have been able to see how she has progressed with regular feedback from staff.

My baby has settled really well and the staff are brilliant. She has come on a lot since she started and is really happy there.

I feel the outdoor area is stimulating and he has plenty to do to keep him physically active. When I come into his room the staff are always happy and approachable.

Overall very pleased with all aspects of the nursery. Just raises concerns about the turnover of staff.

I love that the nursery classes are relatively small in comparison to other local nurseries. I feel comfortable leaving my daughter in the hands of the staff at Streatham, who have been patient and supportive.

My daughter is happy at nursery, looks forward to going in and loves all of the fun activities like baby Yoga, playing outside and making things to take home.

Staff are very friendly and welcoming for children and parents. They take an interest in my child’s likes and dislikes and they develop connections with the children through the key carer system. I feel my child is safe and well looked after in the nursery and loved by all staff, his development has improved since attending and his eating habits also. They are very accommodating for all needs and any issues or concerns are dealt with quickly. My son has a great bond with his key career and enjoys attending which at the end of the day is most important.
