Christchurch Kindergarten @ Queensbury Children's Nursery

My child has really enjoyed coming to Christchurch Kindergarten @ Queensbury Children's Nursery, we have seen her development improve through the many activities she takes part in. All the staff are very friendly, making it a really great nursery.

I would like to recommend parents to consider this nursery as the communication of teachers to parents is brilliant and amazing. Observations sent to us via the app to know how the child is progressing and the children's safety is on point. Also, my son has learned so much since September 2020 with communication, socializing, getting connected to other kids, learning lots of activities they perform at school, nursery rhymes and he has developed a lot with this place in the past months and it has helped my child and us a lot. I definitely recommend this nursery for your child too.

As a parent, I am very happy that my child is interacting more with others, doing more diverse activities which are helping my child to develop her learning skills. Staff are well prepared and always helpful.

The kindness and professionalism of the staff made us choose this nursery. Our child learned so much during this last month. He made progress with potty training and he learned so many words (in just three weeks). He became more sociable. We like the approach of the staff (used by the staff) by learning through play and teaching the kids to be more independent and take initiative and decisions.

A beautifully run nursery establishment which provides a safe and clean place for children to learn, develop and strive in. The manager of this nursery ensures that adequate indoor and outdoor activities are in place using the aid of 'themes'. Our child has learnt so much since she first started coming here. The love and care that go into planning activities and day trips is so lovely to see. The staff are very in sync with each other. An excellent job.

My daughter was not speaking when she started this nursery and in a couple of weeks she started speaking and learning and she is more confident playing. So a big thank you to all the staff.

I am very happy with my decision to enrol my daughter at Christchurch Kindergarten. They have plenty of activities, time spent outside and many new things learned each day. The staff are very kind and very patient with the little ones. My daughter is very happy and she really loves the time spent at the nursery.

My daughter has been attending Christchurch Kindergarten in Queensbury since January 2019 till July 2019. I have not seen any improvements. Every time I mention a concern they have not taken it seriously. The time my daughter was there she came home with nappy rash and dry poo, number occasions I mentioned it to them.

My daughter's nursery was advised by senco we should apply for NEG 2-year-old funding, they did not mention to us we list term of funding. Child hurt herself at nursery they did not notify me or my husband, my child is under special care she's considered as special needs. She was always left on side. I spoke with nursery manager she said I wouldn't want you to put our nursery down because two-year-old funding it's not about the funding. The lack of support they have not taken it seriously I personally would not recommend this nursery, it's just a playgroup they do not teach anything.

A huge thank you to all the staff. My daughter loves going to nursery. Kindergarten has given our daughter everything and more than we hoped. She often tells us how happy she is at nursery. Kindergarten has provided so many wonderful experiences due to its wide curriculum, enriching the children. Our daughter has learnt so much, but most of all she has had fun every day.

Overall I have been happy with the nursery. Just small things need to take extra care to communicate with me and my husband regarding our daughter.

This nursery has gone beyond effort ensuring my daughter enjoys her stay. She has built her confidence and has improved her counting numbers and she sang a song.

Key workers work with the individual child and report their feedback via an app set up. I can view my daughter's profile with pictures so that I can catch up on what she has done or learnt so far.

The management of the nursery is excellent. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Management listens to parents concerns and work hard to address the concerns.
