Little Holland Nursery

We've had a really good experience here. Starting nursery at a really difficult time in the world with Covid-19 we have found that they have lots of safety procedures in place but inside it feels almost like normal for the children. Lots of smiles.

My daughter has been attending the nursery for around 4-months now, and I highly recommend it. The staff are warm and friendly, and my daughter is always eager to attend. The communication between staff and parents is excellent, I love seeing photos of my daughter throughout the day and getting regular updates on what she has eaten and when she has had a nap etc. The range of activities are brilliant, and it’s great to see the progress she is making through the app. My daughter really enjoys her sessions at nursery, and I feel confident that she is being well cared for in such a lovely nurturing environment.

If anyone is looking for a friendly, reliable, flexible and all-round brilliant nursery Little Holland will offer everything you need! I am going to continue to send my son even when he starts school as the nursery offer a breakfast club and after school club as well as a holiday club.

I have 2 grandchildren attending Little Holland Nursery and they are very happy there. They are very well looked after and have a wonderful time. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone seeking high-quality childcare.

My little boy is heartbroken to be leaving nursery. He absolutely loves his time there and he has made some wonderful friends and his ‘teachers’ have helped him grow into a confident happy child. He comes home telling me whats he’s done or made or who he soaked with water outside. Lots of happy memories for him so one happy mum. I would definitely recommend Little Holland.

The communication between parents and staff is brilliant, I never feel out of the loop or unsure as to what my child is doing. I love receiving updates with pictures throughout the day of what my child is learning about. All of the staff are so caring and attentive of the children, they’ve made my very shy four year old feel so comfortable and give him the confidence to tackle new things. The staff are always happy, laughing, full of energy and you can really tell they love their job. The children are always going on walks to the park or beach which my son loves. The staff and management are always looking for ways to improve and make an excellent setting even more excellent. It really is a home from home and we would be lost without the team at Little Holland Nursery.

We've only had a few months experience of Little Holland but so far it's been very good. They helped us with a funding application and gave our daughter lots of support when she adjusted to going to a nursery. Happy that she enjoys every day there.

Very happy with the support my child receives. I know my child is being well looked after and is safe and happy by all the team, including management and owner. Also, seeing great improvements in communication and activities offered, I have and will, continue to recommend.

My 3-year-old has been here since September 2019. Since joining here, she has always been happy and excited to go to nursery. Even if we drive past she wants to stop and go to school.

Adore this nursery, everyone is always smiley and friendly. My son loves it so much too and has developed so quickly with his speech since joining a year ago. Would highly recommend. They also have a system where you get updates during the day of your child's activities.

I couldn’t have wished for a better place to send my 10-month-old. The use of the parent app is great as I get to see what he is up to in the morning and afternoon with pictures and am updated with his daily activity. Considering his age, he is always included in the activities. His digital records are updated regularly, letting us know at what stage of development our son is at. The menu is always varied, meaning my son gets to try all different types of food that I maybe wouldn’t have at home. The staff are all so friendly and approachable. I would highly recommend Little Holland Nursery.

We love Little Holland Nursery. My daughter runs there from the car and I think if she could stay there day and night she would. She comes home happy, clean, well looked after and well-fed. The Nursery feels homely, with a child-friendly garden and very welcoming staff. Not only the nursery is doing some improvements, including decoration and new furniture, but they also are working on more diversified children educational program. Recently they had some rainforest animals coming to the Nursery and children loved it. The Nursery uses a brilliant mobile application, where they post lots of updates and pictures during the day on what children are doing and eating, notifies parents of changes and important info, keeps in touch with parents in the live chat. I couldn't wish for a better nursery for my child!

Basically, I'd recommend it to anyone in Holland-on-Sea or Clacton, and I do. It's a small, friendly nursery with nice staff of different ages, lots of energy. Management seems to be on top of things and making lots of little changes to make things even better. Looking forward to one more year here.

Little Holland Nursery are very caring and always make my children happy. Both of my girls really look forward to going every day and have built up some very strong relationships with the staff there. A great place for children to enjoy themselves and learn.

As a working parent, you have to put trust in the people that look after your children and I feel I could do that. Would recommend Little Holland Nursery to anyone.

My granddaughter has been going to Little Holland (used to be called Munchkins) for almost a year and she's just happy there, so I'm happy. Everyone is so friendly when I pick up. I also now have grandma permission to use their app to see photos of what she's doing when she's there and what she has for dinner and how much and when she naps. I only really look at the photos but it's good the other info is there.

Lots of great fun things to do, great lunches, great teachers. I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone looking for somewhere for their little ones. I don't worry about her at all once I leave her as know she's in safe hands and will have such a great day.

My eldest started at Munchkins when she was 10 months old, she is now in her final few months of preschool and my youngest started at 8 months last year. We picked this nursery because it felt homely and welcoming and we couldn’t have been more right. The nursery and the staff are amazing. We feel at ease leaving our daughters here and they always come home happy looking forward to going back. The staff care, love and pay attention to each child and I know my daughters love the staff back. Communications are provided regularly and when it came to weaning, potty training and other key milestones they were only too happy to help follow the way we had chosen. The outside space trips to the park, beach and other local places is an added bonus. The provision of food for the babies is amazing and the option to continue with this or provide packed lunch is fantastic. I would recommend Munchkins to every parent looking for a safe, loving, welcoming, clean, reasonably price happy nursery/pre-school for their child.
