Woodland Day Nursery

I was recommended to the nursery by 3 separate mums. I loved the well-thought-out setting and could tell the staff go above and beyond for the children to help them grow and learn. I'm so happy my son is at Woodland Day Nursery and I know he will flourish there! They focus on a child each week so parents get some useful feedback about their child, I've found this so helpful and love how they introduce things to help them. As a parent I feel very included in the nursery, we can attend seasonal parties and offer our support too. I love the ideas we get, like going on walks with our child to collect autumn leaves and return them to the nursery with photos of our trips. The staff are happy and friendly and give feedback at pick-ups about how the children have been that day. The portal is really easy to use and always updated with great information. Invoicing is done promptly which our previous nursery lacked so it's much appreciated here.

My daughter is 2 and started attending Woodland Day Nursery in September. She absolutely loves it there and has settled in very well. The nursery is amazing, the staff are lovely and very friendly and the activities they arrange for the children is wonderful. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nursery!

From the moment we walked in, I knew this was the perfect place for my son. The team are incredibly warm, nurturing and attentive, making us feel confident our little one would receive the same level of care as home. The small room sizes and individual attention have allowed my child to flourish in ways I never imagined. I truly feel the team go above and beyond to create a safe and loving environment for all children in their care. I highly recommend Woodland to any parent looking for a nurturing and supportive environment for their child.

My only regret is that we didn't come here sooner! The staff are so attentive. Their activities are inventive, varied and engaging and my daughter now finds learning fun and exciting. She is always eager to return and has made friends easily. The settings have been very helpful in ensuring the leavers are school-ready when my daughter starts big school in September. We will all miss Woodlands dearly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Thank you Woodlands!

My daughter started in January and we both struggled with separation anxiety, but she has settled in amazingly. She runs in all by herself and doesn't even look back most days. I can hear her singing and laughing with her new friends through the door and she comes running out with a huge smile on her face. She looks forward to going to nursery and always comes home with a new song and asks "where's nursery gone?" when we've left. We couldn't be happier with how she's developing socially and building confidence every day. Thank you.

This is the most wonderful nursery, and I cannot fault it; we are so grateful. When my daughter started, she was shy around other adults and children, and since starting at Woodland, her confidence has been transformed along with her social and communication skills. The nursery is incredible value for money and has amazing, kind staff who were so welcoming and accommodating when she joined six months ago. The cooked lunches provided sound amazing. We also really love the parties that the nursery put together, such as Easter, which parents are invited to attend. Highly recommend!

I’m extremely impressed with this nursery. Truly can’t fault it. They’ve been absolutely amazing with my granddaughter who really struggled initially with separation anxiety. The wise care they took to help her adjust was just wonderful - and it worked! 6 months on she absolutely loves it! It’s a very creative nursery too and she’s blossoming in so many ways. Highly recommend it. 5 gold stars from me!

I love how she does something different every day; some of her favourites are garden play, yoga, painting, dancing/singing and imaginative play. She always comes home so happy. We are super impressed with this nursery and will definitely send our baby boy there too, in a couple of years!

Both of my children are attending the setting and have been so happy. The staff are amazing, friendly, helpful and extremely caring with the children. The admin is also great and efficient. We couldn't ask for a better nursery. The nursery provides the children with exciting days out to the park, beach or local shop to purchase ingredients for baking. They offer specialised classes such as music and mindful yoga. I recommend this nursery to anyone who likes a homely and nurturing setting.

In the 8 months she has been going she has developed so much. With the support of her key worker, fully supportive staff and an engaging and exciting activity programme she loves going to nursery and is exposed to new experiences - it really is a fantastic nursery. We feel very happy and confident dropping her off each day knowing she is having fun but also growing in confidence and learning new skills in a nurturing environment.

I highly recommend Woodland Day Nursery. My child settled in really quickly and loves going here each day. Her language and self-care skills have really developed since starting here too. The staff are always really friendly and helpful to my daughter and me. The activities that they provide such as trips out, theme days and free family sessions are way above what I have seen at other nurseries. They are also great at communicating how your child is getting on which was really important to me.
