The Hunny Bear Day Nursery

My daughter has attended this nursery for over a year and I am extremely impressed. She also attends another setting and I cannot recommend Hunny Bear enough, she is ahead with her phonics, she is able to spell three letter words, is counting amazingly and I honestly think it is down to the way this setting encourages learning.

She is extremely happy coming here, doesn't stop talking about her friends and how they play and loves the 'Cooking Bear' and Traveling Ted' which is given to a child to take home for a few days.

My twin girls have attended the Hunny Bear Nursery since August 2014 and have thoroughly enjoyed their time at the nursery. We are very happy with the level of care they provide to the children and how advanced they were when it came to them starting school. All the staff are very friendly and approachable if you need to discuss any issues.

They have a wide range of activities for the children to do throughout the day and have a lovely play area so the children get that outside experience too. They always offer a great variety of healthy food and a great brief diet, which they also cater for if there are special dietary requirements.

I would highly recommend this nursery to all friends and family as we have been thoroughly happy with all aspects. My girls now go to the after school club and holiday club there which is brilliant as it has meant we have kept the consistency for them after school too. Thank you Hunny Bear, keep up good work.

My son moved to this nursery after going to a childminder for 2.5 years, he was welcomed in immediately, the staff are a credit to the nursery. My son loves going to Hunny Bears 3 days a week and has learnt so much since July 2017 when he started. I love him being there and the joy it brings to collect him and hear all about his day. I cannot recommend this nursery enough!

We also receive monthly newsletters which I never had from the previous nursery.

My daughter has attended the nursery for 2 years now and I am delighted not only with her progress but the communication of her progress at the nursery. The staff are always attentive and caring, the children appear happy and stimulated and the environment is always clean and bright with an ever-changing variety of activities on offer. I would thoroughly recommend the setting to anyone who is looking for a nursery for their child.

My son has been here for nearly a year, and he loves it. For me, it is like dropping him off with friends. They do many activities such as day trips, Christmas concerts and sports day that all the children were able to take part in. If I can't be with my son all day, the next best thing has been bringing him to the Hunny Bear. The staff really care about the children, and it shows in the relationship they have with my son. The preschool have been working hard with me and my son to help him be ready for school. The nursery have put on training for parents to attend including phonics and Makaton which helps me at home support my child with his development. Thank you for all your hard work.
