The Hunny Bear Day Nursery

A really lovely nursery, caring staff with great communication via the app. My little boy loves the different activities on offer, the time in the garden and the food. I love receiving updates about his day regularly with photos too.

Both my children have been enrolled since November and I have noticed a big difference in how well they are developing and become little people. Especially with my youngest, the girls have done an amazing job in bringing her along in such a short amount of time. Definitely helping my mummy worries! Everyone is lovely, kind and most importantly my children are looked after and have fun!

Since enrolling my child here, I have seen remarkable growth in their social skills, and overall development. The staff are incredibly warm, caring, and professional. The facilities are top- notch, with a wide range of educational toys and materials. The indoor and outdoor play areas are meticulously maintained, providing a safe and fun environment for all activities. The curriculum is well-instructed, incorporating a balance of play-based learning and educational activities that foster critical thinking and creativity. Communication with parents is fantastic-I receive regular updates on my child's progress, upcoming events, and any changes in the schedule. The staff's commitment to fostering a supportive and nurturing environment is evident in everything they do. Overall, The Hunny Bears Whetstone is a wonderful place for any young child to begin their educational journey. I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a nurturing, stimulating, and safe nursery for their little one.

My little boy has attended the Hunny Bear from 7 months old, all the way up to him starting school this year. Throughout his time there, he progressed so well and that was down to the staff within the rooms. There was a lot of worry as he started nursery during Covid but the app made it so much easier for me to leave him as I got updates throughout the day about how he'd been getting on as well as lots of photos. It really was a home from home and the staff cared for him like their own. I was even impressed at how well he developed his name-writing and phonics skills, which showed when starting school this year! I can't wait to start sending him to the holiday club too as he is looking forward to coming again.

We're kept fully informed of his progress throughout the day and the staff have demonstrated nothing but care and nurture towards him. Thank you for being a positive part of his start in life.

Both my children attend Hunny Bears Day Nursery. I am happy to drop them off in the morning, knowing they are safe, happy and having lots of fun with the lovely activities the setting plans for them. I love that I received little updates throughout the day via the parent app, giving me reassurance that my little ones are okay and happy. The staff are very smiley and welcoming.

They have helped him settle and send lovely updates on the app to show me how he's enjoying his day! Staff are always welcoming and we are very pleased that we chose this nursery for our little one!

They were also really flexible when we were using cloth nappies and worked hard to use them as per our wishes, which some nurseries are reluctant to do.

Both of my children have been at Hunny Bears from the age of 1 and have fully enjoyed their experience. Communication has always been well-received and informative. I have always felt comfortable leaving them and staff have had a good connection with both children. I felt reassured our children were in safe and caring hands. I would recommend Hunny Bears.

Hunny Bear are fantastic. They go above and beyond to get to know all the children and parents. My daughter attended from 10 months (during covid!) until she left at 4 and a half to go to school. She loved every minute and still now 3 months later talks fondly of her time there and about all the adults. They are great at adapting the room to meet individual needs and my daughter came on leaps and bounds under them. I would (and do!) recommend them to anyone who will listen. Super friendly, extremely knowledgable and so caring. A bonus is the communication app is updated in real-time so as a parent you still get to find out lots about your little ones' day.

I couldn't be happier with this nursery and its staff for my daughter. It has everything for her, she loves going. The staff are friendly and bubbly and warm to my daughter which is such a lovely feeling knowing she spends 2 days a week there.

We will be sending our second daughter when she turns one too as we know she will be so well cared for.

My son will be starting next month too, and I already have the reassurance that he is going to be safe, well looked after and cared for. It feels like a home away from home.

Cannot recommend the Hunny Bear enough. The staff and management team are so warm and welcoming. I was worried about leaving my child, to begin with, with it being my first child and returning to work, however, the staff put my mind at ease. I love getting regular updates throughout the day on the app so I can see how settled and happy my child is.

My child started this nursery in March 2022, as most will know it can be a very daunting experience leaving your child in somebody else's care. I don't know what I ever had to worry about, the love and care the staff have for the children is outstanding, the staff/management are so lovely and there's always someone available to talk to should any of my questions be answered. My child's development is forever growing and I cant wait for him to experience the other rooms within the setting.

I am so thankful we found such an amazing nursery. Management and staff are lovely and so caring towards my daughter. She seems so much more content, since moving her from another setting. The nursery is very safe and it's very reassuring to see they have CCTV in and out of the building.

My Daughter loves this nursery and so do I. All the girls are so welcoming and friendly. She has learnt a lot since she started in 2017 and continually returns home displaying the new things she's learnt, its great to see how much they teach her. I feel totally at ease leaving my little girl in the care of this nursery.

All the girls that work there are so friendly and really make you feel welcome. My daughter has really settled in well and is always really happy when I go and pick her up and it's great that they do different and fun activities with them each day.
