This is a great nursery with great staff. Our daughters been in the nursery for more than a year. The staff have really helped my daughter develop both physically and emotionally. Overall we are really happy with this nursery. We were given lots of settling-in days so we felt like we knew the staff before our daughter started. We are regularly updated with what the children are eating and get photos of their day. We like that the small children have their own area with indoor underfloor heating. It's cosy and spacious for them and the babies are very well looked after. We also like the staff consistency so our daughter gets used to the same people. Lovely staff at this nursery. The only thing we would change is a better mechanism for coming in and out as parents have to wait outside in all weathers.

Fantastic nursery. There is so much choice in the Raynes Park area but Dicky Birds Peyps Road stood out for us from our first visit. Our son has been attending for almost two years and loves it. My son has been at the Nursery since 2021. The staff have always been extremely caring towards the children and polite and friendly. Over recent months, there appear to have been a number of organisational changes that have had huge benefits to the whole nursery. The staff turnover/absence has massively reduced and it feels like a really happy atmosphere for the children to be in. Whilst the garden is on the small side, this is to be expected in a built-up area and the children often go on trips out so I really feel they are making the most of what they have. We get regular updates of all the fun things they do with the kids and my son always comes back happy. I really can't recommend it enough. Thank you!

An excellent nursery with staff who genuinely care about the wellness and development of your child. With over 25 years of experience in childcare and a degree in Early Childhood Studies, Sumudu is passionate about helping children grow in confidence and independence. She believes in nurturing strong personal and social skills as the foundation for lifelong learning. Originally from Sri Lanka, she began her career as ground staff for Sri Lankan Airlines before moving to the UK and discovering her love for Early Years education. A proud mum and grandmother, she’s excited to create a happy, safe, and enriching experience for every child at Dicky Birds.
