Being a new mum I was very nervous about my child going to nursery, however the staff made me feel at ease, they supported me and my son whilst he settled into the baby room and I started back at work. He loves going to nursery and enjoys all the fun exciting activities they provide in the baby room. The staff are very approachable and I am given a good hand over of an evening with how he has been and what he got up to that day. I love how I can take his learning journey home when ever I ask, to share this with other family members. My son has developed so much whilst he has been in nursery and I can see that his next steps in learning are being followed and that he is well cared for.
My grandson attends the after school club and holiday club and since September 2020 it has been well run, plenty of activities for the children to do, trips out, spa afternoon, my grandson has really enjoyed going, he has made lots of friends and it is a big help to me knowing that he is happy playing with his friends and doing lots of activities with the ladies in charge. Well done ladies and thank you so much.
I just want to say how amazing the staff have been in the raindrop room settling in my son, he was so scared at the start, cried even mentioning nursery but they took their time to make him feel welcome and safe. Today is only his second full day after settling and he ran in, knocking on the doors shouting his key worker. They have also made me feel secure about leaving my son there, I was an emotional wreck at first, to the point I was contemplating on leaving him, now I couldn’t ask for a better nursery to have my boy! Thank you.
Both my children have been and one is currently in breakfast club and after school club and in over the past 6 years I have never had any complaints. The staff are friendly and helpful, they keep my children entertained and happy with the hours they have them. Both my children enjoy the club and I have a peace of mind that they have happy but mostly importantly safe within the club and with the staff. I couldn’t recommend them enough!
My little boy has settled really well into the nursery. The staff and management are lovely and have given him the patience and care he needed as a nervous starter. His key workers always have lots of information about how his day has been (for example, what he has eaten, what he’s been playing with, what his next steps are etc). I have seen a big difference in him both socially and academically. Really happy with the nursery.
I highly recommend this nursery, as I have already done to a few friends who have then enrolled their little one here too. I have had good experiences on numerous occasions with the nursery, any questions asked get answered, any help that can be given is given, I think the nursery is organised well and the staff are very friendly and you can tell they are a tight unit as each one connect as a good team should. Coming from a customer service job myself I know being helpful and going above and beyond for people is a must and I feel this nursery does this. I couldn’t have thought of a better place for my little girl to come to, she enters with smiles and comes out even happier, the girls are all lovely and I’m so happy leaving her there while I go to work.
Amazing nursery for my son, he has progressed so much being here and is learning new things every day! I am amazed by some of the things he has learnt. He is doing that well I plan on keeping him in nursery till statutory school age!
My daughter absolutely loves Brighter Beginnings Day Nursery, Charlestown. The staff are very helpful and supportive. It offers a clean and safe environment with a lovely outdoor play area. School pick-up/drop-off service is always well organized and punctual. Highly recommended!
The nursery is lovely and all the staff are so friendly and welcoming. My little girl loves her days at nursery and always comes out saying she's had a good day. Not a bad word to say really. My little boy also went to this nursery about 5 years ago so I highly recommend this nursery.
time. All of the nursery workers are polite, friendly, great with children amd I couldn't reccomend it enough. I know my girls are in safe hands when they are there.
Thank you.
Both my boys have attended this nursery from around 9 months old, and my daughter will be going there too when I go back to work. It’s convenient for us as it’s local, and across the road from the school that my eldest now attends. We have never had any major issues with this nursery, my boys have enjoyed going there, they have a great time and always come home in a great mood. It took a while for them to settle and the staff were great, very patient and understanding. They have dealt with Covid well and professionally and I feel that my son is in safe hands there. Not to mention the fact that he eats anything and everything they put infront of him and it’s generally healthy and nutritious food, he eats so much better there than he does at home.
My son has been attending this setting for the past 3 years. I am very happy with the care and education provided throughout. The staff really care for the children and go the extra mile. The resources provided in the setting are to a high quality and stimulate and promote learning and intrigue.
My children are always happy in the nursery even if one of them just started couple of weeks ago. The staff makes sure they settle in very well. Lots of good activities they are doing daily. The meals are good as my children are telling me. The kids can learn and grow a lot from here.
I can’t comment on what my child was learning as I didn’t see a single evaluation or assessment whilst they were there. I was told there would be a learning portal I would have access to so I could see all my child’s assessments by his assigned nursery worker. I was never given access to the portal.
The nursery, learning staff and kitchen staff were lovely and really showed care for all the children. It’s such a shame that management was so ineffective and, quite frankly absent, that it overshadowed everyone else’s clear talent and hard work.
Both my boys have been to nursery and afterschool club. The nursery is very good, the ladies work really hard with the children and make them happy and safe. My sons have come on so well and learned lots to get them ready for school for all the activities they do. They care for the kids so much and will do so much more to make sure they are happy in nursery.
After School Club is such a great help to me and my husband, I could not do without it knowing my boy is safe from walking from school to club it is a big help for us working parents and makes our life easier knowing we can trust the staff in a big way and they make the most of the small space.
If there have been any issues staff and managers have dealt with it straight away and in a professional manner.
I would say my children are happy and I tell friends how fabulous they are and will be sad when it's time to leave.
Thank you ladies, you do a great job.
Both my children have been to this nursery staff are great, manager is great, both my children have enjoyed. One is still there now, great location. Son is happy meaning I am happy.
Staff are fantastic, my daughter loves going to the nursery. They are very professional and supportive. I would highly recommend this nursery to every parent, friendly and supportive service. Excellent place.
The group is amazing, the staff are lovely and always welcoming and encourage the children to get involved. They also have arts and crafts for the children to make something every time. Ten out of ten. I would definitely advise to attend.
Both of my children have attended this nursery over the course of four years and they have loved it. They have come on leaps and bounds in their learning skills and confidence. The key workers at Charlestown are amazing and my children have loved working and playing with them. The facilities for the children are educational as well as fun. The food options are also good as they offer a variety and cater for each child’s needs. I would 100% recommend this nursery to family and friends. Thank you for everything you do.
