The Barnehage Nursery & Out of School Care

We are absolutely delighted with the care our daughter receives at Barnehage. Her care and support has been fantastic and the girls in her room are wonderful! She has flourished at the nursery and I would like to give a special thanks to her key workers Emma and Holly who have been fantastic from the minute she started at 8 months old (now 2.5 years old)

My daughter has been here since she was 6months old and she is 3 in May and honestly the staff here are fantastic! Communication is alot better than previous times with the change of management being positive for us re updates on the app. My daughter loves it here and lives bonding with the staff , this has been so reassuring as a parent. Thanks

My son has attended this nursery since 2022 (8 months old) and his development has come along in leaps and bounds. The staff are wonderful. He has plenty of activities and opportunities to help him gain the skills and confidence for starting primary school in the next year.

My daughter has been attending the Barnehage for over a year now and absolutely loves it. We are updated throughout the day with nappy changes, meals, naps etc on the Famly and given a thorough handover when collecting her each day. She loves all the staff and is so excited to go in the mornings.

A great nursery with excellent staff. Kept well informed and updated on my child's day and anything the nursery are doing.

I'm so grateful to have found such an amazing setting

The only issue is the loss of some of my sons clothes but I am at fault for not always putting his name on them and when kids are coming in from outside and they all need changed then there's going to be some loss of clothing. I do always get it back though

Everyone is so nice and the relationships my son has built with the teachers and management and his peers has been a blessing to watch

Our daughter has been attending the Barnehage since she was 11months old. Since joining she has came on leaps and bounds, she is loving her time at nursery. The staff are really good with her and she is coming along well. We would recommend the nursery to everyone.

My son has attended The Barnehage Nursery since he was 9 months old and is currently about to sadly leave to go to school. He has had a blast at nursery enjoying lots of fun adventures to the woods and the amazing activities provided by the staff. We are fortune enough that he created an amazing bond with his keyworker who he had in the poppies playroom and fortune enough to have them again in the sunflowers. We are so thankful to all the staff at The Barnehage Nursery and the amazing experience that has been given to my son!

We are so glad that we chose The Barnehage for our daughter. The staff really make the place, and it's clear how much they care for the kids. Whenever we have questions we just send a message on the app and always get a quick response, which really puts your mind at rest. We love the focus they have on the kids playing outside and going for walks. Our daughter is always happy to see the staff in the morning and we are always confident she will have a great day.

My daughter has attended this nursery since she was 11 months old and has worked her way through Buttercups, Daisies and now in the Poppies. All the staff who work here are very friendly and take pride in their jobs. They care for the children a lot and it shows when you talk to them and see how they interact with the children. My daughter has come on leaps and bounds since being in this nursery and I have just managed to secure her funded placement here for when she turns 3. I would highly recommend this nursery.

All of the staff and our girls OG key workers you are all amazing and honestly such a credit to your nursery. The bond our little girl has with you all is so amazing to see.

Can't speak highly enough of all staff at the Barnehage. They go above and beyond for the children, providing great activities and keeping them engaged. My wee one absolutely loves her keyworker, and all of the other staff members in her room. She looks forward to playing with her friends and loves to tell me all about the fun things that happened during the day. She has attended 4 days a week since turning 1 and has absolutely thrived under the care of everyone at Barnehage.

My daughter has been at this nursery for nearly a year since she was 10 months old and she loves it! She started in the baby room and is now in the toddler room and is thriving! The staff are great and very helpful and they always have activities planned to keep the wee ones stimulated.

The Barnehage is an amazing nursery, my daughter loves it! They have so many activities for the kids. The staff are brilliant and very approachable. You are kept updated and sent images regularly. Would highly recommend this nursery!

My son goes to breakfast club and holiday club. He has had great fun and days out since joining. They post pictures for you to view and see what the children have been doing that day. Also very flexible should something crop up and require an extra day.

My daughter went to this nursery from age 3 until school, and currently uses the breakfast club, which she loves. And my son started when he was 2. This is a great nursery and I can highly recommend it. My son loves going in and spending time with his friends and teachers and exploring the local woods and parks. He has come on so much since starting. The staff are great and you can tell they genuinely care about your wee ones. The kids also love getting to see the nursery's pet bunnies, and were even lucky enough to get to have them home for a weekend.

I can't praise this nursery enough. My wee girl has came on leaps and bounds and initially shy has came out of her shell and learned so many skills. All staff are approachable and really do go above and beyond. Especially my daughter's key worker. My daughter started 6 months ago and loves her weekly session.

My son joined in August 2024. The staff have been so helpful with the transition. They are very caring and supportive of my sons needs especially as he was struggling with settling in. They offered various options to help him settle in. The communication is great and prompt. It is lovely receiving a photo and messages. When picking him up the staff always take time to give a handover of how the day went. Very happy with the nursery.
