Dawny's Nursery & Pre-School

I love this nursery! I think since my little one moved here he has thrived! He's speech has improved massively and is more confident and independent. He's able to identify more animals, colours and count better. The staff are lovely and I can tell Ray loves them as at home he's talking about his room leader and other staff members constantly and is always happy to be there running into the room at drop off. He also loves the ball sessions on a Thursday, leading me to get more similar sessions outside of nursery. I Also love the regular updates on what they've done in the week with pictures. I also love all the security measures here making me feel at ease. Totally recommend this nursery to everyone.

Our twin boys are 16 months old and they have been going to Dawnys since they were 1 years old. They absolutely love it and I feel happy and reassured they are both well looked after. The communication is great, especially through the app as it allows parents to see naps, lunches etc.

My daughter has thrived since starting at Dawny's. She settled in incredibly well and has come on leaps and bounds in some areas of her development , though we notice she can still be a little shy and held back at nursery though is slowly improving on this. She probably just does better in smaller groups but obviously this is difficult in a nursery setting. Their food options are very good, the care is great and we particularly like the options of having Playball and Hartbeeps incorporated into the setting. Would recommend!

My daughter is 16 months old and has been going to Dawny's for past 5 months. She absolutely loves going and I feel happy and confident with all the girls looking after her. Thank you for looking after my little girl.

Our daughter has been attending Dawnys for 9 months and our son for four. Both children adore the staff, are happy and thriving. Of all the nurseries in the local area that Dawnys was the only one that I felt comfortable to send my children to. The room cameras give us the additional reassurance that our children are safe and being appropriately cared for throughout the day.

Staff are approachable, friendly and knowledgeable. Communication, both on the app, telephone, email and face to face, has been good. On the rare occasion that we have ever had a concern, staff have acted swiftly and appropriately.

Within the nursery, resources and provision are in good condition, inspiring and age appropriate. Staff are quick to differentiate appropriately and meet children's needs. We are thrilled with our children's development so far and pleased with the community our children are part of.

My little boy has attended Dawny's for over 4 months now, it was a tough decision to take going back to work and leaving my 8-month-old but as soon as we visited Dawny's I felt confident he would be happy and well looked after. He loves his time at nursery and I couldn't be happier with the care provided by the team all the other staff are so attentive with him it really helps to relax me when he is there.

My daughter has been with Dawnys since April and started when she was 11 months. I was so nervous to leave her there, but the Cherry Blossoms team and her key person at the time Paige, made me feel so relaxed. It's a home away from home! My little one was a little reserved and cautious, and still is as it's her temperament but since starting with Dawnys has really come out of her shell! Babbling, dancing, giggling, pointing and walking! All testament to an incredible team of carers! She loves it at nursery and when she sees her bag being packed gets all excited. I'm forever grateful to Dawnys for being so nurturing. We get continuous updates, and photos and her food and sleep are all tracked. It's a fantastic nursery, and I am so excited to see how my little ones' journey develops under the care of such a stellar team.

Dawnys is an amazing nursery! I was so nervous to leave my 1 year old but they have made me feel like he is in the best place ever. Out of all my friends, I can honestly say we are at the best nursery. We get constant updates and photos. All his food is tracked and sleeps. He comes home with Mother’s Day cards. They have a live camera where I can watch him enjoy playing. He absolutely loves it there.

Caring staff, lots of activities for the children, nursery is clean bright and airy, and outdoor play is encouraged. Regular updates on the app and detailed handovers at pick-up. Overall pleased with my child's experience here.

Both of my children are having a wonderful time at Dawny’s. They both eat really well and get fed a wide variety of meals at nursery. They get to do messy play which I avoid at home!! And plenty of outdoor time

After an initial settling-in period my daughter loves Dawny's Nursery. She is always happy at drop off and pick up. As parents, we love the range of activities on offer in the baby room and the extracurricular activities the babies do. All the carers are happy, kind and supportive of the children and parents making us happy to leave our child there.

Dawny's (Chertsey) has been recently refurbished and offers the best facilities for my little daughter. The staff are professional and the added activities of soft play, hartbeeps and playball are a great add-on.

Dawny's nursery has provided both my children a loving environment and they have both grown so much. I can’t compliment the staff enough - they truly care and love all the children in their care. The confidence my children have gained since joining is fantastic to watch. They both love going to nursery and are always excited when they walk in. The communication from the nursery is also great through the family app. Their new setting is also fantastic and welcomes the children to be imaginative.

My little boy has come out of the shell! He’s so happy and excited to come to nursery, his speech has improved loads and is such a happy boy. The settling-in has been very straightforward, and the staff have been amazing throughout the whole experience, always more than happy to answer any questions nothing is too big of an ask for them. I will be bringing my second child here and would recommend this nursery highly to everyone who’s looking for a childcare setting for their little one. I am over the moon with the nursery.

I was so apprehensive about sending my baby to nursery. He’s my first and I needed to get back to work. I felt he was so young and hated the thought of leaving him. The team at Dawny's Nursery & Pre-School made me feel so relaxed and reassured me with all my concerns. His key workers have been great in informing me of his development and daily updates when he was slightly unsettled. I also love how the app is updated throughout the day to keep me updated. I know he is extremely happy whilst he’s there and is totally stimulated, cared for and looked after but the amazing team. Thank you Cherry Blossom team for looking after my boy so wonderfully.

My son started Dawny's Nursery & Pre-School in February 2023 and he settled in immediately without any issues at all! This is because of the kind, caring and nurturing nature of the staff in the baby room. My son has also started learning to be more independent and has very quickly picked up a lot of the key skills he should know at his age and this is because of the staff focussing on him. He absolutely loves being greeted by the staff in the mornings and I always collect him having a huge smile on his face. The staff are so attentive and really listen to the needs of my baby and what he likes or dislikes. I cannot praise them enough! Thank you

Dawny's is simply a fantastic environment for children. All staff are knowledgeable, friendly, constructive, and proactive in their approach, which as a parent is exactly what you need. My daughter absolutely loves going, has improved her confidence, improved her independence and eats and plays well. That is always a great sign of a child being comfortable within the environment. The communication is fantastic via the app and also have access to the webcam so you know your child is in safe surroundings. Well done team, keep up the great work. Would highly recommend it!

We've used Dawnys (Day Nurseries) for all three of our kids and they all have/are benefitting from attending. The staff are excellent and there is a great range of activities to boost child learning. Would recommend it to any parent.

My daughter has been at Dawny's Daycare since September, when funding kicked in, but has already come on leaps and bounds. We are 100% happy with our choice; staff are kind, supportive and nurturing, there is an app for communication, a live camera feed for reassurance, a great menu and plenty of activities for the children's daily enjoyment and development. As a working parent, I find the app is great and provides the perfect facility to easily communicate with staff, catch up on news and activities; it is regularly updated with news and photographs, policies etc. The children go outside in the main garden daily, as well as having their free-flow outdoor area. The easy car parking is an added bonus.

After attending another setting in the area which was not great I choose to come to dawnys which was the best choice that I made. My daughter has attended Dawnys Daycare now since she was 2 years old. She has loved attending Dawnys and has had a great and pleasant experience. The staff are always so approachable and able to answer any questions I may have and they really do care for the children. My daughter is always excited to go to nursery and it really is like her second home. She is always surprising me with new things that she has learnt. The staff are great with keeping me up to date with my child's development which is lovely to see by sending pictures using the app of what they have been up to daily. I would definitely recommend this nursery to other parents.
