Berties Nursery at LPS

I am so happy with the progress my son made during the past three weeks. He enjoys the school time and is always motivated to go back the next day which is amazing. The daily feedback that I get especially from the class teacher is really good and comprehensive, please continue doing that.

So far my experience as a parent of Leicester Preparatory School Nursery has been amazing- parent communication is well thought through and information related to my child is always relayed in a timely manner.

Staff are amazing at what they do, always keeping the children's interest and safety as number one. My son has settled in really well and enjoys the variety of clubs such as specialist sports, pantomime club etc.

My son has attended Early Years for nearly two years now and I have seen big progress in his learning and confidence. The teachers here are doing a great job and from what I can tell my child has a good relationship with the teachers which is very helpful. Class Dojo keeps us updated of how our child is doing at school which is lovely to see what they are like in a school environment.

We have been really happy with Leicester Preparatory School Early Years. My son started when he was three and I’ve already seen a progression with his social and communication skills. The staff are always encouraging and helping him to achieve with his writing and maths. The teachers are always available to speak to and no question is ever a problem. They are quick to respond via the class app too. I couldn’t be happier! Keep up the amazing work.

The only concern I can think of is that the admin side of the school could be improved, we have had missing invoices and have had to refill forms, a prospective parent we recommended did not get calls back in regards to their interest in the school and some emails have been poorly written (if it wasn't for the teachers at the school, this would be very off-putting to a parent). Also, the boys are not great fans of the school dinners, but on the other hand not having the option of a packed lunch has taught my boys to eat well by themselves.

I highly would recommend Leicester Preparatory. The care, learning, and support from the staff is amazing. My little boy has developed so well become very confident. He comes home using the teacher's name and telling us what he has learned from them.

He has settled in well and the updates on class dojo are brilliant so you can see your little one having fun and enjoying their day.

My son started this nursery with very little English, and he was quite anxious in the beginning. Teachers handled this very well, and he quickly gained his confidence. I can see that in about 1-month he has developed a strong sense of belonging- seems very happy when I pick him up and clearly is very fond of his teachers and friends. Also very easy to communicate with the members of staff, they share photos of what children have been doing regularly-a few times a week and always quickly respond to my messages. Would definitely recommend this nursery.

Very happy my children are in this nursery. A lot of activities are going on there to shape the children's learning in a good way. Like confidence class, French class, music, sports etc. My children are happy to be there. Encourage the staff to keep up the good work.

Sending my son to Leicester Preparatory was the best decision we ever made for him. It did take him a couple of weeks to settle in but his teachers were very caring and understanding. His teachers would message me throughout the day with pictures and updates regarding his settling in - there was always open communication with the staff. In just a short space of time, my son positively thrived in the creative and nurturing environment that the school has created for the children. He is now a confident, charismatic and independent little boy.

My son has really thrived in this setting. The staff are supportive, parents are well informed and in the instance, my child has been upset, unwell or injured, I am notified straight away. I have nothing but praise for the high quality teaching my son gets, lots of peer to peer support and feedback via Class Dojo really makes me feel I am part of my son's learning journey.

My daughter at such a young age of 3 has excelled and become very independent. She can read, speaks well and understands so much that I am overwhelmed with the school's methods of teaching.

My daughter has been thriving in an environment where she is carefully monitored and stretched. She has been instilled with a love of learning. She has made close friends. On her arrival at the school, she was a shy girl but she became more confident.

She has been greatly encouraged to be independent. She is well ahead of her expected level.
