Heatherton Co-Ed Nursery Reviews (1)
Over all time Heatherton Co-Ed Nursery has 1 review.
This is a very well organised nursery with fantastic, caring staff. I believe it has the right balance of structure and free play and I feel like my daughter is treated as an individual, with her likes being observed.
There is a good level of communication and I feel involved in what my child is doing. Staff are approachable and proactive and are positive role models for the children.
I honestly can't recommend this nursery enough. Prior to this, my daughter attended another nursery (with the same Ofsted rating) and there really is no comparison.

Linzi has been teaching in the Early Years for over 20 years, and it remains the most rewarding part of her life. She loves working with young children because every day is filled with awe and wonder.
“Children see the world as a place where everything is magical — where tiny moments become big adventures and simple discoveries feel extraordinary.”
For Linzi, being part of those early journeys — supporting children as they explore, grow, and light up with curiosity — is a privilege that never stops inspiring her.
“Helping children discover the world around them is a joy. Their curiosity, imagination and excitement make every day special.”
Kathy Mahoney has worked in education for over 30 years, supporting children of all ages with a wide range of needs and abilities. She holds an NVQ Level 3 CACHE qualification in Children’s Care. For the past 10 years, she has been part of the team at Heatherton Nursery, where it has been a genuine privilege for her to support children at the very start of their educational journey.
One of the most rewarding aspects of her role has been watching the children grow in confidence and independence as they progress through the nursery and school. Following their journey and seeing them leave Heatherton as confident, well-rounded young ladies has been a real pleasure and a source of great professional pride for her.
Abby has worked in Early Years for over five years, gaining experience in both a day nursery and a private school nursery. She holds a Level 3 NVQ in Childcare and has been part of the Heatherton team since January 2024. Abby is passionate about teaching in Early Years, valuing it as a unique stage of development where no two days are ever the same. She enjoys supporting children as they learn, grow and gain confidence within a nurturing environment. Heatherton is a fantastic setting in which to work, offering children valuable opportunities to learn from specialist teachers across the school. High staff-to-child ratios enable Abby to build strong, meaningful relationships with every child, ensuring they feel safe, supported and valued.
Hannah has been teaching for over 15 years, bringing a wealth of experience to her role. She holds a BA (Hons) in Classical Civilisation.
