The nursery is based on a former farm across two spacious barn conversions in Hedgerley Lane.

The nursery, which opened over 20 years ago, has an outstanding outdoor environment and an expert childcare team. The team are extremely committed to providing the highest quality care and education, supporting each child to achieve their full potential. Staff provide a wide range of exciting and stimulating activities that are tailored to each child’s individual interests and needs, and support them to develop into confident and independent learners.

They promote close parent partnerships and provide daily updates and photos about your child’s routine and activities, so you have wonderful memories of their time at Poppies.

Poppies Day Nursery Beaconsfield is an excellent nursery that I would highly recommend to any parent. Not only are the facilities and the inside/outside space fantastic but the care is wonderful. Both my children have been extremely happy there. My older girl has now started school and the care that
nursery took preparing her for this big step meant that the transition was easy and a happy experience for my daughter. I will be sad when it's time for my boy to leave.

My son has attended Poppies since he was 7 months old. Three room transitions later and he is still loving every moment. All the workers are caring and attentive in every aspect. They seem to always plan activities that are engaging and stimulating. I cannot recommend the team highly enough.

My 2 year daughter absolutely loves going to Poppies Beaconsfield and I feel very comfortable leaving her there for the day. She has a very close relationship with her key person and has made lots of friends.


I struggle to get her to try new things such as clothes and shoes. Nursery were able to

get her to wear her new slippers in one day which her dad and I had been trying to get her to wear for weeks!


She enjoys all the food and often has seconds.


We talk in the evenings about her day and it always sounds like she's had a great time.


I feel her learning has accelerated since being at Poppies and I believe the team have contributed to her being such a bright little girl.

My daughter has been at Poppies Day Nursery since November 2016 and has settled in really well. All the ladies are so nice and caring and she gets to do lots of lovely activities, and play in the garden. The food is also excellent.

Poppies is a wonderful outstanding nursery. I feel that my son has developed so much since he has been here. Also, he's made great friends, not only with children but also with the staff. I would highly recommend to other parents. I'm going to very sad that my son will be leaving this summer to go up
to school.

Our daughter has now been at Poppies for almost 2 years since she was 1 years old and has been through Baby Nest, Little Explorers and now is in Big Explorers. From class to class she has grown and all key carers have been of a high standard. Our daughter has never come home upset from nursery and is
always talking about her key carers and friends. She has a healthy diet and always eats the food, in fact, her day sheet often says has 2nd.
We could not be more pleased with Poppies and would highly recommend to any parent. We are expecting our 2nd child and she also will be enrolled at poppies for when she turns 1.

Excellent and experienced staff who make the ever so difficult transition for a mum to leave her baby and go back to work, that bit easier. Great communication throughout the day if that's what you request, and they follow the individual routines of your baby. Designated key workers know exactly what
your baby has been doing each day and they build up positive relationships with not only the babies but their families. I now don't think twice about leaving my baby at this nursery as I know she is extremely well cared for and she loves the range of activities on offer!

Since my son joined the nursery at 6 months old, I have seen him develop in so many ways - from his communication skills to his growing confidence. I am delighted to say, as he recently turned two, that he is a happy, content and confident child, much of which I feel is due to his positive experience

Our daughter has been attending the Poppies in Beaconsfield for a short period of time. She has attended other nurseries in the past. The staff have made her feel welcome and are extremely friendly, including her in the activities for full-time children. We chose this nursery as the outside space is
really large and great in summer for the children to run around.

Both my sons have attended/are attending Poppies since they were 12 months old and have loved being there. The staff are wonderful and so caring and conscientious. In particular, with my eldest son, who was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes a few months after starting there aged just 16 months. It's a
chronic condition which relied on my son needing multiple injections a day, carbohydrate counting and constant monitoring with finger pricks to test his blood sugar. The whole team embraced this challenge wholeheartedly and we had several members of staff trained to manage my son, and care plans were written. Two members, in particular, looked after him through his 4 years there and their care, attention and tenacity have meant that we were totally confident leaving him at Poppies. I can't recommend it highly enough.

My child has been attending Poppies for over a year now and he loves his time there he started at little explorers and moved to big explorers with ease. The carers are so welcoming to the parents and the children which are so important and goes a long way to helping the children settle in. They really
do care! I'd recommend Poppies without hesitation.
