Available sessions include Mornings (7.30am - 1pm), Afternoons (1pm - 6pm) and Full Days (7.30am - 6pm.) Session prices start from £40. We currently accept children in receipt of 15 and 30 hour government funded hours.

Kathryn, a past parent at the previous Nursery, now owns and manages the premises, and aims to create high quality provision for young children with nature at its heart. Kathryn has completed her Early Years Teacher Status qualification, she enjoys the outdoors, going for walks, and is passionate about children's outdoor play.
Ben has a BA in History with French and is in the process of completing his Early Years Teacher Status. When he isn't in the nursery overseeing our newly implemented curriculum, he's working in France where he works with French and English students.
Rebecca is qualified in Childcare and Education and has a passion for supporting SEN children and their families throughout Early Years. Rebecca has two SEN children of her own, as well as a crazy beagle at home. She enjoys making lovely treats for everyone at Woodlands and loves getting stuck into anything creative!
Louise has achieved her Early Years Educator diploma and has worked in the sector for 7 years. She has two lovely pets at home - a dog called Doug, and a Giant African Snail called Sebastian, who sometimes visits the nursery! She enjoys exploring outdoors and singing nursery rhymes with the children.
Jasmine is qualified in Childcare and Education and has worked in the sector for 9 years. She has her own little boy and two dogs at home, called Lola and Mila. Whether it's making playdough or tie dye painting, she loves providing lots of messy play opportunities for the children to enjoy.
Emma is a qualified Educator and has been part of the Early Years sector for 9 years. While having experience with all ages, Emma is most interested in supporting babies within the setting, as they reach pivotal milestones and are just beginning to explore the world around them. Emma has recently moved from Reading and is so far enjoying her time living in Durham!
Priya is a qualified level three early years educator, with previous experience as a childminder and practitioner in nursery settings in the south of England. She and her family, including her pet bunny Moon, have recently relocated from Bromley. She loves nothing more than to sing and dance with the pre-schoolers, set up creative crafts, and challenge children’s learning to reach new heights.
Charlotte has a level 3 in childcare and having worked in nurseries and as a nanny for over a decade she brings with her a wealth of experience. Charlotte loves exploring the countryside with her dog Lexi and is excited to start a vegetable patch with the children at Woodlands which will see food grown from seed to plate.
Annie has her level three in childcare. She joined us from Windsor where she was working as a deputy nursery manager at the school Prince George and Princess Charlotte attended. Annie has two girls and Elton the whippet. She is passionate about Early Years and loves working with the children in messy play, crafts, singing, dancing and yoga.
Gabi recently joined the Woodlands team and is dedicated to ensuring the Nursery remains fresh and clean for our staff, parents and children. She’s a busy mum of two, and can often be found at the side of the football pitch cheering her little ones on, or off out on lovely family adventures. She also has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, and has previous experience in a Nursery setting!
Beverley has spent over a decade cooking in schools and in care homes. She creates dishes which embrace the different needs of the children we care for. Age, culture, lifestyle, nutrition, allergies, intolerances and sensory needs are met with platefuls of creativity and care in her hands.
Maddi joined the Woodlands team in August 2023, and has so far loved forming bonds with the children. She looks forward to supporting children's learning through exciting play opportunities. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to music (loudly!) and seeing her favourite bands in concert.
